I think Yandan has been betrayed by the people she loves most, her sister and YY, that she has lost trust in everything. When someone feels suicidal, they will be numb to everything without seeking further truth to something.
Since we’re in a long wait for the next episodes on Monday, I couldn’t help but compare YY and TZ’s character to BJ and QM from ALP. YY and BJ are restrained characters protecting their loves in disguise but having no way out due to their status, losing their love ones.
TZ is straightforward and more carefree like Cheng Yi said reminds me of QM. It’s like TZ and QM is the real them being able to fully express themselves without the burden of protecting the three realms. It’s how they really wanted to love their girls but couldn’t show it in the original realm they lived in. How bittersweet!

Cheng Yi has to be one of the few actors that can lead a xianxia drama. His acting is superb with so much emotions that you just want to see more of him. The only actors of xianxia dramas so far that I’ve love is Mark, Xu Kai, and Cheng Yi. The ML from AOL was great but he didn’t stay in my mind for long. TMOPB is such a good classic.
