How are you supposed to show the character of Doom? He is death/destruction. He doesn't feel any compassion or love. He believes earth should not exist. From that perspective, how should the ML act?

I’m curious to see him in a drama with PBY. I think he deserves a lead role.

The ML is Doom/Destruction. So it’s natural for him to be like that.

This means something bad or sad will happen later on.

It seems more people prefer these type of genres. I love Doom At Your Service but I understand that there would be people who wouldn’t like it. Taste is subjective. There are many underrated kdramas as well as actors/actresses. Sad but true. I watch kdramas based on my preference not on its popularity. It just so happens that Doom got my attention. There are many popular kdramas that I havent seen or stopped watching like Vincenzo, Penthouse, TWOTM (dropped this), Hotel Del Luna, Itaewon Class, Mr. Queen, etc. I tried watching some of these dramas (not just the ones I mentioned) but sadly most of these didn’t caught my interest. Maybe I’ll go back to them or wont watch them anymore. My lack of interest in these dramas (at the moment) doesn’t mean they’re not good. I believe every kdrama has its own unique charm.

PBY really brings out the character to life. Which is not surprising as she is one of the best actresses in South Korea.

If she chooses to break the contract she wont die, instead the person she loves will die. Thats why her initial plan was to love MM so she dont have to wish for the world to end and at the same time she will live since the person she loves (MM) will die.

“ If something messes up the system, it means it was programmed wrong. Something that is wrong...must be deleted or reset.” I think the deity is referring to MM. Since he cant eat, sleep or love (which he constantly says) he does the opposite since meeting TDK. I think the deity knows what will happen since she tried removing the bracelet before, helped TDK remember MM crying in the funeral and the conversation they had in ep6. The deity is slowly showing them that have a history together. She thinks MM was made wrong because he was able to love a person. I dont know how she will delete or reset MM. Erase memories - maybe this has been done before but they still managed to find each other. Now she will delete their feelings for each other or delete him completely. Doom has been vocal of his dislike for earth to exist from the beginning but the deity feels otherwise. I hope the deity doesn't love MM. I thought about this when she and TDK was talking in ep6 and said this is mine (referring to the pot she’s holding) then pointing to the other part of the garden, that’s not mine. It’s just a thought but it’s so far fetched. But I hope it’s not the case. It’ll ruin the story for me.

Yeah people are saying that the script and characters are not well developed or lacking in some ways. Characters not the actors but they seem to have forgotten that were just on ep6. There are more things to come. As for me I love this drama. At first, I dont find the second lead couple interesting but as the story progresses I see the conflict in their story which makes it interesting as well. As for the Doom couple, well I was already hooked on ep1. Im curious as to why they are already at this stage of sacrificing themselves for one another although their love hasnt been fully developed yet. I guess the theory that they might have known each other before or this was not the first time they have feelings for each other might be true. Anything is possible with this drama.

I’m not so sure how are they related to the main plot but we’ve known Jina is the BF of Tak Dong Kyung then Tak Seong Kyung started working at Lee Hyun Gu’s cafe. We’ll see in upcoming eps. The history of MM will start unfolding soon. Me too I’m curious as to why the deity said about reset or delete. I love how how the story is unfolding but I hope theyll give us more heart fluttering moments of the leads. They havent confessed their love for each other and yet MM is ready to die for Tak. They have a history thats for sure.

Tak Dong Kyung must wish for the world to end within 100 days in return MM will make sure she doesnt feel any pain in her last 100 days on earth. On top of that she can make a real wish - meaning something that she really wants. If she breaches or breaks the contract meaning she doesnt wish for doom on earth, the person she loves at that time will die instead of her. Thats why in the latter episodes I think ending of ep5 and beg of ep6 MM said love me. Because if she will love him and breaks the contract, MM will die instead of her and the world wont end. This was her initial plan right. When she said I will love you so I wont lose anything. But that changes when she started developing feelings for him. But he’s a deity right how can he die? Or he can probably die since he suggested it to Tak Dong Kyung. Maybe in a weird way that was his way of telling her he loves her. Since he said I want to save you. Ep7 showed a glimpse of him wearing white on top of the building I assume he becomes human or maybe not? Anything is possible with this drama. Ep7 will answer many questions. Someone said they might have known each other before thats why TDK is the only one who can see his real face. I love this drama very much. Every episode leaves us hanging and gives more questions.

From what I know ratings are based on TV viewership only. Most viewers of this drama watches this via streaming services or other online sites which are not included in the ratings. Yeah it’s sad that they have low ratings but the fact that people are talking about it says a lot about this drama. Scarlet Heart has low ratings as well but did so well internationally. However there’s Goblin, Cloy and TWOTM; all of which are cable shows. So my guess is, this drama doesnt appeal much to the Monday/Tues viewers of South Korea. I hope the Doom Team wont see this as a failure because they did a great job. Interesting story, superb acting and chemistry of the leads, amazing cinematography and sound tracks - everything about this drama are soo good. I’ve watched a reaction video made by South Korean Youtubers, it seems they are used to this kind of plot. Considering the number of dramas available to them, it’s not a surprise that they might not find this appealing. That’s just vibe I got from their reaction. Hopefully the ratings would pick up soon as they still use this to measure a drama’s success.

Yes the second couple/triangle is starting to pick up. Love his character. This is my first time seeing him in a drama.

For the car, I really dont know why he would choose to use it. I guess to feel somehow alive. He once said he’s just existing not living. This is not new as other fantasy dramas have their leads use a car.

For the recognition, this was only introduced in ep6. My guess is the initial appearance that the person sees of MM doesnt change. Maybe the hair will change but the face doesnt. Remember when the ladies are talking about a ghost doctor in the hospital. Some saw a 50 yr old guy while others saw a young doctor. At first I though he changes his appearance so people wont recognize him but instead it depends on how people sees him. This gives me an impression that the writer wants to say that the concept of death or doom is diff per person.

This is just my 2 cents on this.

Patiently waiting for ep6 to be subbed. I saw a preview of ep7, I’m not sure if my heart is ready to be broken. Please give us more heart fluttering scenes before the heartbreak.
