Since the script was philosophical it can be interpreted in many ways which can confuse viewers especially those with little interest in philosophy. Though I have very little knowledge in philosophy, I love this drama. Something about it keeps me intrigued. I think the writer wanted to offer something different. When I see these type of works , I always get the impression that they are not doing it for mass consumption but rather for self-expression and personal satisfaction. It’s like I’m not drawing a picture which you would like, I’m drawing what I like. Something like that.

Ive seen a number of people asking why they instantly fell in love with each other. Next ep showed that MM will ask TDK to marry him. Thoughts on this? I think TDK will break up with him when he asks her to marry him. We didnt see the breakup scene un ep9 so I was thinking it might be on ep10. Is there a chance that they might have known each other before buttheir memories got deleted?

Yes. He finally admitted that he loves her. I was wondering where’s the breakup scene we’ve seen last week. Is it gonna be on ep10 when MM proposed? This gonna break me again.

Ep 9 just broke me. Finally realized how ill fated their love is. MM finally said he loves TDK. He’s not scared to disappear but he’s afraid of not seeing her. The scene where TDK and her aunt talking was also heartbreaking. That “dream date” was beautiful. But you can see sadness in MM eyes. Is this the start of our Doom? I barely moved on from ep7 and 8 then here comes ep9. Another roller coaster ride.

Me too. Just enjoying this drama so much. Been awhile since Ive been this excited in a drama.

I think the third time TDK makes a wish will be the time it’ll come true. Maybe she will wish for MM to not be the Doom anymore. Since there’s no afterlife he’ll become human.

I also love this drama! Just think of it as difference in preferences for those who dislike the drama. I just scroll past through the hate comments. I understand that we cant expect everyone to like this drama and yes we are all entitled to our opinion here. But some comments are not criticism let alone a constructive one. Some would really take the time to voice out their hate for this drama. There are so many ongoing dramas. I hope they’ll just drop this and focus on the dramas they like. I haven't seen My Roommate is a Gumiho. It seems interesting but will probably watch it after DAYS finished airing. For some reason this is the only drama I’m watching. In the past I’ve watched 3-4 ongoing dramas. DAYS got me so hooked that I even watch their BTS. I’m sure you’ll enjoy those. TVN usually uploads the BTS on their YT channel after 2 eps have been aired. Welcome to the Doom Club! Lets continue to enjoy and support DAYS!

I have high hopes for this drama as I’m a fan of Jasper Liu. But sadly I dont feel the chemistry. I’ve seen the Korean version and it was really good. Put this on hold and will try to go back again.

Agree. I really dont go for the ratings or the latest craze in kdramaland. If it captures my interest I would continue watching it, if not I just put it on hold or drop it. No need to make a big deal out of it. As for DAYS, it just so happens that it got my interest. It actually brought back my ❤️ for kdramas. Before this, I was in a slump. Yeah I’ll try to watch some kdramas every now and then. But it came to a point that I just rewatched my favorites. Recently, I’ve watched some kdramas that are good (IONTBO, Mouse, Uncanny Counters, etc.) but I would not rewatch it or would put it under my faves list. Been a kdrama fan since 2009. Watched this at first because of PBY but stayed not just because of her but due to the story, leads’ chemistry, visuals and OSTs. So let’s just enjoy this drama! For those who dislike this drama, just drop it and move on to other dramas that you might like.

Haha! Couldnt agree more. If thats the basis for watching a fantasy kdrama, then the writers shouldnt bother coming up with different storyline. As long as it includes the entire world, we’re good.

This is the problem when viewers fail to see from the character’s perspective. They have bias as to how the character should act. This is a very deep drama. SIG and PBY said in one of their interviews that they had difficulty in memorizing the dialogues as it’s poetic and not your usual dialogue.

Couldn’t agree more. They can just drop it and find another drama to watch. The last 2 eps really hit me hard. Well as the drama says there should be balance. Just let them be. They forgot that no one is forcing them to watch this.

Time for BTS. As usual their BTS has so much chemistry. I think that will help with the agony while waiting for ep9. :)

Yup. It’s not just about the ratings.

Tak Dong Kyeung was diagnosed with brain cancer and I’m sure youve seen the other bad things happened to her in ep1. That night she got drunk and wished for the world to end/disappear. Coincidentally that day was Myeol Mang’s birthday. He can grant someone a wish. It just so happens that he heard TDK’s wish. Why? Because it was the only wish different from the others. Fast forward to their meeting, they entered into a contract. It stipulates that TDK must wish for the earth to disappear or wish doom on earth before she dies. (As mentioned by her doctor in ep1 if she doesn't get an operation she’ll die in 3 months if she chooses to have a surgery she’ll live for year with less pain). In return, MM or Doom will make her three months pain free. But they have to hold hands (recharge as what MM calls it) to make sure TDK wont feel any pain everyday. On top of that she was given by MM a chance to make a real wish. Meaning she can wish whatever she wants. But if TDK fails to do her part in the contract, the person that she loves the most at that time will die. TDK thought that if she can love MM she wont have to wish for the earth’s doom and at the same time save her brother (which is the person that she loves the most at that time). MM didn't backed down and said to love him to the point of wanting to destroy the world. Next episodes will slowly unravel how they will deal with each other as well as face their own problems.
