The prediction that TDK and MM are characters in Ji Na’s book scares me more. If this will be the case, I hope they are based on real people. Like TDK is her friend for real and MM is a colleague or something. This prediction has been posted here.
I’ve read that the opening credits seem to give us a clue about the story. From the black and white stills, then the butterfly, TDKs family portrait then the color starts with the cake and continues until the end of opening credits.
When I see the opening credits, I cant help but to remember some TVN dramas, train - CLOY, structures with dome - Memories of Alhambra, Sea - Goblin. That’s just me. This drama has really got me. :)
Ep 8 MM already decided to save TDK. So he told TDK to like him at the ending and" choose you and world"
Yup he has already made that decision. Even in the previous episodes, he has mentioned this a number of times but TDK doesn’t want that. The only way for him to save TDK is forTDK to love him so he’ll die and she will live. TDK hasn’t fully admitted that she loves him although she obviously does.
TDK wants to break up with MM because she realized she loves him deeply. Yes she was caught in the moment of just doing what she wants to the point of forgetting the consequences of breaching the contract. You must look at it from the character’s perspective. A person with less than 3 months to live, enters into a contract with Doom. When she realizes what she has gotten herself into, she tries everything to do what’s best for everyone. But her plan backfired. She fell in love with the being she wants to kill before. MM’s plan also backfired. He was right when he said that that the stone he threw hit him instead. He wants to destroy the world through TDK, does everything in his power to make sure she cant run away. Like TDK, he also fell hard. Now they are finally in a crossroad. Remember what TDK said before, I will love you so I wont lose anything. What did MM said, Let’s do it right. Love me to the point where you want to destroy the world. Right now, MM will do everything to save TDK. Though she didn’t address it directly in ep7 or 8 TDK will save MM on the next episodes.
I have a feeling MM will sacrifice himself to save TDK. Remember when the deity asked him, can you change her fate? He said I cannot change it. I’m sure he’ll do anything he can to save TDK. I think when the deity gave him the preview of losing TDK and no one remembers her, it really hit him hard. He would rather die than be the one left with memories. That’s why i think Ailee’s Song “Breaking Down” is from TDK’s point of view. The lyrics - “They’ll disappear without a trace. Why cant it stop.” This drama is soo sad yet I cant stop watching. Love the OSTs. Each of them fits the drama perfectly. Before I just love listening to it, but after 8 episodes into the drama, i cant help but to tear up whenever I hear them.
The plant finally came out. Because MM has already felt compassion and love. The wish of TDK is our hope to save our recharge couple.
I already cried tons on ep7 but ep8 was a real tear jerker for me. Why is it that even happy moments make me sad? So many feelings in ep8. The cherry blossom scene and the ferris wheel scene are both heart fluttering moments yet these were so sad for me, especially the ferris wheel scene. Am I the only one that feels MM is saying goodbye? He wants TDK to be happy in the world that she’s living in. He doesn’t care if he’s part of that world. The conversation that he and the deity had through the book is a clue as to what MM will do next. He wants to grow up and he needs to do good in order to do that.
I think every episode covers a certain subject. Like ep8 is all about “Regrets”. While ep7 was “Discovery”. Discovery not just of TDK’s sickness but discovery of our ML couples’ feelings for each other esp MM. Discovery of MM’s reason for existence in TDK’s life and vice versa.
Our SL story is also starting to get interesting. Yeah it’s not as interesting as our leads’ story nevertheless it has started to pick up.
Saddest of all, waiting for another week. The agony of waiting. :(
Because she fell in love with him. Going back to their contract, if she fails to wish doom on earth the person she loves the most at that time will die.
The ML is Doom/Destruction. So it’s natural for him to be like that.
This is not new in kdramas. Every drama you put under scrutiny would fall apart with that kind of thinking. At the first part of the drama, viewers are advised that this is fiction. So no need to bring serial killers into this.
Ep7 just made me realize that when this drama is over I will be emotionally crushed. I just-
Someone will die. Now that both of them is on the verge of destroying the world for each other. But I still cant understand TDK’s wish last ep6 for MM to love her? What good it’ll do? It’ll lead to his death right? Or isn't because it’s MM ehe cant die. Or since he’s the one loving her and not her he’ll break the contract.

We finally learned why he kissed her before. The SL love triangle is getting interesting. If TDK and MM have to choose between love and world. These three need to choose between love and friendship. All of them needs to find the courage to live and love.
I find it interesting that the people who aren’t into this drama have really taken the time to dissect and analyze this drama. I guess it’s to prove why they think this drama is not great. Some even reached ep6! Nothing against that. We have different standards as to what makes a drama good. If they think there are better dramas that are also currently airing then it means there are a lot for us fans to choose from. They can just drop this and just focus on those dramas. Honestly I love this drama. Been awhile since Ive been this excited. No need to prove why you dislike it. You can explain the flaws you saw for future viewers and thats it. No need to make a big deal out of it. . I dont expect everyone to like this drama.
As for my Doommates! :) Havent seen ep7 yet but I’m preparing myself. We have been in a roller coaster ride since ep1. Remember in ep6 when the deity told TDK this pot is mine. If something unusual sprouts I’ll just pull it out and plant a new one. She also said something about this is my first time. Is she referring to her feelings for MM? As always we only have theories as this drama slowly unveils the whole story. Happy ending please.
No. Im loving this drama very much. Just ignore the people not liking this drama. We have different preferences, it just so happens that they didnt find this drama interesting. Not a big deal.

Couldn’t agree more. If they don’t like it, they can just drop it. As simple as that. If I dont like a drama regardless of its ratings or popularity, I just drop or put it on hold. No need to go out of my way to tell others that I didnt like it. Just let the people enjoy the drama.
