No, nothing like that. If you are talking about the comments regarding the new series and events Akaso and Machida are in, that is just us showing our appreciation for Cherry Magic. We have loved this series so much that we have decided to stick around even after its end and use this comment section to share any info about the main actors' past, present and future projects. For example, a couple of months ago Machida starred in Netflix's Alice in Borderland and this week Akaso will appear in an episode of Uchikare. Those series have nothing to do with Cherry Magic, but we are checking them out together because of Akaso and Machida. Our community is very close ^^

The literal translation of Medaka's thoughts in that scene would be something along these lines: "I had developed feelings that were a little more than just friendship towards him". He definitely sees him as more than just a friend. The way he treats him after realizing that also suggests that Nikaido is special to him. When Medaka is with his friends, he tends to be silly and sloppy, but when he interacts with Nikaido, he is always careful, caring and considerate. From time to time, you'll hear him say that Nikaido is cute and see him blush in his presence. It's a pity that they didn't explore their relationship more. I really want to know whether they ended up together or stayed friends. In any case, I think that their connection is beautiful.

I remember him saying that he is currently working on something. It wasn't too long ago. I wonder whether he was referring to one of these guest roles or something else. In any case, I'm sure that he will grow as an actor this year and that he will get another main role, if not in a drama, then in a movie. I'm looking forward to his (and Machida's) next projects ^^

On a more serious note, I'm happy that he is experimenting and, at the same time, showcasing his acting range. He still hasn't got a role in an action movie, though. As far as I know, he was interested in that. Let's wait patiently ^^

When I was a student, if something bad happened to me, I could forget it by watching a movie. At that time, I thought that acting could make people happy and I was attracted to it. I hope that I can become such an actor someday."
I really hope he knows that he has already accomplished that. You did it, Akaso. You made so many people happy ^^
