Now that I think about it, it seems that the color blue represents Kurosawa in the series (see the lights, filters, furniture, clothes...). Maybe the meaning behind Adachi's blue, abstract drawing is that he is finally ready to fully embrace his love for Kurosawa.

We don't know. In some interviews Akaso and Machida have said that they never talked about a season 2 and that the series is supposed to end when Adachi loses his power, but they would consider starring in it if they were asked. The success of season 1 and the fact that the author is currently writing volume 7 (set after Adachi has lost his mind-reading ability) are giving us hope.

If Google Translate didn't mess up, she says that she changed her mind because she thought that exploring their relationship further and seeing how they handle everything without Adachi's magic was important. I think she is right. We never really got to see Adachi dealing with his problems without resorting to mind reading. Even though Adachi and Kurosawa don't seem to have communication issues (which is beautiful btw), I think the author can still make up other interesting situations for a sequel. But honestly I'd also be okay with 12 more episodes of just Adachi and Kurosawa being lovey-dovey XD

Imagine Adachi and Kurosawa dancing at their wedding. They gently hold hands and start swinging surrounded by the other guests. Adachi accidentally steps on Kurosawa's foot and immediately stutters an apology. Kurosawa can't help but giggle. The laugh gradually turns into a loving smile.
"I'm happy."
Adachi returns the smile. They look into each other's eyes, then they get closer to let their lips meet briefly and they hug tightly.
"I'm so happy, too."
