I just love how naturally the distance between Tian and Phupha is shortening. If we don't count the scene where their pinkies meet under the blanket, Tian and Phupha have never really touched. They have always communicated and flirted using those beautiful, intense stares. But in episode 6 we see them touching multiple times: at Nam's office, in the car, during the hand massage, when Tian gave Phupha the tea sachet... The tention between them is finally turning into something more concrete. I feel that this episode did an amazing job at preparing us for the development that there will clearly be in episode 7. I'd also like to point out how gentle and respectful every interaction between Tian and Phupha is. This drama is really special. I'm loving it so much.
I've been curious for a while, but is there some points in this drama that got you hooked to it or got you to…
The moment Adachi started introducing himself in episode 1. He says "by the way, this is me at 29 years and 364 days old" and then yawns. There is a cut and we see him opening the door to his office with an evident bed head and tripping right after. Not even 2 minutes in and I was already hooked. I KNEW I would love Adachi. Or maybe I already loved him there. For me it was instant.
Fans from Taiwan made ads for Akaso Eiji play in 7/11 (a shopchain). https://twitter.com/sano_taku0116/status/1365881531768578048?s=21
Wow! According to the article, they were able to broadcast the birthday videos in 4,600 stores across Taiwan for 3 days! The amount of effort and love put into this is incredible! I hope Chuchu heard about it :O
Happy birthday to Akaso-san! No matter what awaits you in the future, I hope that you'll be healthy and proud of who you are. You deserve the same happiness you gave us.
Another happy day for CM fandom! my Twitter TL today is full of happy news ^^Additional info: CM ranked 1st for…
You are right. I was just a bit taken aback when I saw that they listed 10 names for Best Supportive Actor and Machida wasn't there. I felt that in their eyes he really wasn't worth the award and that hurt me a little. But he still won! Also, I'm happy that the journalists voted for the series. The fact that Cherry Magic actually won in the Best Drama category is amazing!

It's ridiculous! The critics listed 10 (TEN!) names for Best Supportive Actor and Machida is not there. The embodiment of Kurosawa's perfection, the master of micro-expressions was completely ignored. Not even Akaso's execution of Adachi's clumsy mannerism and character development was recognized. The fact that they didn't vote for Cherry Magic in any category makes me think that they didn't watch the series, they based themselves on the apparently silly title and, as RandomUsagi says, they have a bias against BL.

Wow, I didn't know that Cherry Magic ranked first in all categories by the readers' votes alone! That's amazing :D
Right! There was one comment in particular that cracked me up. A user pointed out that "once Machida started talking about Akaso, he just couldn't stop". Re-reading Machida's comment with that in mind and realizing how true that was made me smile so brightly ahah Chii also shared a graphic representation of that lol: https://twitter.com/motivateanger/status/1361717524253921281.
I had seen news that Machida won first place for something but wasn't sure. Great news!!!! :D We have good results…
Definitely! Yesterday I saw this television coverage of Akaso as the new breakout star. They are really getting good results, not just in terms of recognition, but also for future prospects ^^
