ML actor acts well in "happy" warm scenes, then he is quite charming, e.g. when he is enjoying FL's company. They could be a great pair. I just have a desire to feed him first and then send him surfing.

It is tricky bc often actors, esp women, too often do have too much white powder on their face to make them look more Caucasian. So eyes look like a raccoon and the neck is clearly darker. Their natural skin color seems to be tan, like Italian who goes outdoors. Do you watch Our Happy Days? The nasty wife of Chairman's son is a prime example of this.

So I do NOT want actors to wear that white powder. They are beautiful as they are.
On the other hand, the faces cannot be shiny either. I think just natural washed skin and maybe a little makeup to conceal any imperfections - I am not a makup artist so I dont know. I just want it to be NATURAL.

i provide free advice to ppl who buy clothes made out of traditional African fabrics, and I reached the level where I recommend the same stuff the maker would - i.e. I am "certified" lol and I would like to help him sell that but he is too unorganized to put it online and I cannot be there physically every time. But ideally I would be there physically, helping customers pick somethiing out.

I am very good at judging what is already made and suggesting some. I live vicariously by helping other ppl shop or clothes etc esp. traditional African patterns clothes
I am a fashion diva :) and a fashion nerd and a fashion guru :) I create my own fashions and other ppl copy me. Look what I am wearing now and it will be fashion in a few years :) I am totally ahead :)

So let me give you a quick tour how I do it - just imagine GoldDiggerMom face and then in your mind, "put" clothes and lipstick on her, like how little girls play with dolls. That is why little girls play with dolls like that, they practice their fashion skills.

Kdramas have absolutely AMAZING fashion. Every character is unique with their style. If you watch carefully, you will pick a lot of useful "looks".

To be a fashionista, this is what you do: have various colors and shapes in your closet - the easiest is going to ... Ross, TJ Max, Burlington, ... so that you have enough cheap disposable clothes and enough "palette" of shapes and colors to work with - and also stop at some ... trad African market or Tahitian etc market and grab some details...
Hint: you can wear cheap clothes with some outstanding details and totally look GLORIOUS
e.g if you are a woman, put a scarf, have a bag, have some jewelry
Essentially - just put lots of bangles on and you look glamorous :)

if you are a man - the cheapest super nice man's fashion that black wear in NYC is sneakers and baseball hat in the same nice bright color pattern eg bright red that mimics the colors/patterns on the jacket e.g. red in the sleeve and bottom elastics. Or just - bright red pants... One of the best looking guys I ever saw had a bright red bandana on his head and bright red pants... Cost him like $20 to be dressed to impress...

and then - just put together whatever strikes your fancy. Yeah - put turquoise top with the rusty brown burgundy pants... violet with light brown and orange... etc
PUT the fancy jacket with jeans...
Wear your power suit with sneakers... whatever!!!!! Just have fun. And be comfortable :)

African fashion uses say a bottom of many colors and then the top of a DIFFERENT shade of one of those colors :)
The Western fashion would use the top in one of the SAME colors as on the bottom. Which is boring :)
African fashion also has A/C features ;) in its cuts, and frills and riffles that accent the movement. Like what hotel employees wear in King's Land or some other dramas, those are African cuts, the top has ruffle from the waist.

I think "normal" kdramas are made as the drama airs and audience feedback is taken into account. Now there are tons of global westernized audience and Chinese-roots audience and they imo ask for very crude things and do not understand the fine humor and light in real kdramas, so ... chasing $$$$$ to appease the $$$$$$, kdramas go to trash

Netflix drama that releases all episodes at once is already made, and Neflix thinks only of $$$$, so it never risks humor, heavier topics, etc and goes the safe mainstream commerical route, so you basically get a Hwood show with Asian actors and a little less s.x and violence and evil,

and yeah those who know what kdramas are SUPPOSED to be and CAN be, are totally disappointed.
meanwhile, western audience is totally mesmerized since even the trashiest kdrama is a LOT better than Hwood cesspool

Imo, these comments that there was too much romance and it ruined the show are very demeaning, cheap comments that show extreme cruelty and meanness and certain inner ... illness.... of not tolerating happiness and romance and needing to have some blood. I HAD TO MUCH OF IT.

This is one of the things that would make me drop this drama and never come back. WHen the audience is so blood thirsty.
Hollywood shows and cdramas are a lot better venue for that. They got the crudeness and blood anyone would ever wanted. Why spoil kdramas with it.

Imo this drama does NOT have too much romance, actually it has too little. revenges can be done with romance, JM and BH were a team, esp since JM is so idiotically DUMB and must have help, and the job is too big for one person, no matter how smart they are.
JM behaves prude and standoffish like the old time kdrama sexism, it is what it is, asian dramas are super sexist that way and women are portrayed as kids. We should be asking for THAT to change, instead of asking for a super dumb woman to lead the show.

Ppl say that drama production teams do not read MDL for feedback, but if whatever they read has these requests for bloody revenges, they will make it so and that is ... so.... trashy.

I do not want to block you since you say perceptive things too and I want to hear your opinion, but I want to write it down that I really think asking for some bloody revenge is ... crude and unproductive, leading to a really dumb plot and a cheap drama. and I dislike it.

Ah the goose father corporate rat ... plus a very dumb spoiled brat mother who "hijacked" the kids.... PLUS mom and dad never talk and always do things for public image and getting ahead ... i.e. two space cadet parents floating in outer space... totally lacking common sense...
