I dont care for your wish to look at pretty faces. There are enough pretty faces out there that are NATURAL. Right now, too many actors all look alike - skinny body, triangular face that looks like an alien, anxious/gloomy look, white glaze on their face, very little movement.... no energy, no vibrancy, no good health..... They all look about the same....... and most are actually terrible actors. They sit on the screen as still objects for the most part, witih the personality of cardboard. There is no movement, no charm.... . It is quite numbing and dumbing to watch them.....

Just that one thing would make them throw out the whole post - and as soon as you see someone doing that, it means they are UNWILLING to entertain the Big ideas.

you on the other hand were able to grasp the key BigIdeas and to summarize them correctly and eloquently. THAT is some abilities and skillZ that you must appreciate and use wisely. Bc you will have impact. Even if you don't believe in those ideas I presented, you are able to understand and summarize them. This is the KEY piece for any talks and negotiations and achieving agreements and peace even with opposing parties. Also, it is the KEY piece for publicity and advertising your own ideas.

The next step is what happens next ? .... willing to look behind the curtain does not save the world if millions of ppl in front of the curtain are blowing up the world.

I concluded that millions who are not willing to look are too frail to look, too damaged and too uneducated, and will always seek an external authority to guide them, and will most likely be abused and manipulated.

And I really do not know what is the way to help them evolve and mature - except just being there and speaking up.

Certain policies can be put in place - like when car pollution was curbed in LA - but none of it will really work until ppl are convinced - like now, the policies are lifted and pollution is back and nobody cares.

Even a spiritual aspirant needs an external authority to guide them, but at least a spiritual aspirant will discern and pick a truly beneficial uplifting transformational authority. But that too is super tricky. That is another topic :)

The question is, which country in the world has governance that is so successful that it could be emulated? US gvmt and Constitution was based on the Five Nations Federation, which was very successful and managed to stop all intertribal wars and live in peace and prosperity for a long time. BUT their governance had one step that the USA failed to copy - any law, any decision, had to go back and forth between people and gvmnt, many times, until it was agreed upon all and adopted.

One thing that I am SURE of is that letting kids meditate in school is the key to the better future. Just let them sing something uplifting and then make them sit still in silence for a few minutes. That's all. But it has profound consequences.

Bc actors are so starved and plasticized, looking like porcelain dolls, it limits WHO can act and WHAT ROLES can be presented. Also, it brainwashes the general public that this porcelain doll look is THE beauty standard to be copied.

The sad part is that it is probably mediocre actors who resorted to such draconic means to somehow distinguish themselves and elbow forward.

So now we have a slew of androgenous faces, all with triangular shape like aliens, all with BMI well below the healthy minimun 18.5 - I see BMI of 13 in many instances - and pale complexion and this "anxious gloomy look" on their face.

THEY ARE PATHETIC, to be blunt. There is nothing sexy about them. Nothing vibrant or energetic. They are just still, static, serious poker faces who sit on the couch and pose for photoshoots all day. It is torture and slavery to actors to be forced to live like that if they want major roles.

To be honest, I have NOT seen any good actors in these idol boys. Pursuit of Jade actor was pathetic, also Perfect Crown. Sorry that's my honest opinion.

And, what CAN be shown is totally limited. A masterpiece drama like My Mister is not possible anymore, nobody will be filming something like that. Idol fans are so many and they pay so much for it, there is such much cash to be made there so that's where the focus will be.

I think you are the only one who spoke so eloquently about many traps of idolizing. Just a few people mentioned in a sentence or two that Chinese gvmt has a point, but did not elaborate. Everyone else - literally tens or hundreds of users - are vitriolically defending the "beauty" pushing and see nothing wrong with it.

Indeed this is catch 22..... Consumers THINK these porcelain dolls is what they like, but the consumers were manipulated into liking it - bc consumer are prone to liking stuff like that :)
One link in the chain is that the gvmt does not allow ppl to protest about the gvmpt :) so it sidetracks / distracts ppl into being brain numb, and so this idol culture was serving that purpose just GREAT .. until it went out of hand, just like drugs in the USA.

The comments from the audience really show the extent of the damage and inability to think for oneself. Ppl are complaining about not being able to enjoy what they like as consumers, they argue that makeup is ok and pretty boys are ok if consumers like it. They do NOT see anything more than that. It is entirely the Matrix movie situation.
Also it is worrisome as it is clear that these ppl lack brain power to learn and study, for example I cannot see how these ppl will do math, computers, infrastructure, planning, social services, etc etc etc. Essentially Chinese gvmt is left with millions /billion ppl who are disfunctional and cannot even think logically. That is a SCARY future for any country. The USA is at that state too but it always gets immigrants. China does NOT :)

Ideally, Chinese gvmt wants billions of healthy, strong, functional, robustly healthy, capable ppl who think sharp and solve problems and run the country - BUT think along the gvmt lines. And that utopia - which China enjoyed for so long - totally disintegrated. The country is left with a bunch of idol zombies... This is an epidemic wiping out the future of China, for any gvmt, not only the communist regime.

Imo Chinese gvmpt is complaining about a few more things. i will state the 2 most obvious.
One, ppl have become too dumb and what used to be a nice distraction has become a monster, now the ppl rule the gvmt and demand the MALE porcelain dolls, and the gvmt cannot touch this sacred cow of billions of voters.... and billions of young people influenced by this.

Suddenly, the ppl are so brainwashed that they created their own world SEPARATE from the gvmpt and are rebelling against the gvmt, i.e. the gvmt has no control over this huge group, they are independent and free :) Well not really, they are enslaved by something else :) but that something else is not Chinese gvmt :)

The entertainment industry and its $$$ and values has become the main brainwashing force in China. Not the gvmt :) When gvmt wants a better script... they want THEIR script :) Essentially, Chinese gvmt is complaining that idolizing shifted from idolizing the communist ideology to idolizing pretty male faces.

Two, ppl have become too unhealthy. I think the gvmt is complaining that those idols do NOT realistically look like healthy and strong men who can work hard, they look like sickly weak couch potatoes - and since THAT is the standard of beauty, so many men in China will be like that and the country will basically die off lmao there will be nobody strong enough to run the country. I think Chinese gvmt wants realistically healthy strong ppl on the screen.

These idols have BMI of like 13, they are super skinny, pale, flakey figures,and the face is very androgenous and is easily gay too. To be honest, there is nothing sexy or manly about them bc they just do not exude ANY vitality or vibrancy, they are stationary, permanent "serious gloomy expression" characters with pretty pale faces, THEY LOOK AND BEHAVE LIKE PORCELAIN DOLLS. *****They are not ppl who go to work every day. They sit on a sofa all day and pose for photographs. *****

China does not need more babies but needs strong ppl to go to work every day and defend when needed. Chinse gvmt will not have soldiers to help it uphold the regime :) is the bottom line.. And the country is gonna have million of sickly ppl who need medical care and sick leave, is another concern.

Chinese gvmt is also sweeping under the rug that modern men have a LOT less testosterone bc of plastic pollution. Instead of taking care of the environmental issues, the gvmt blames the idol worship. To be fair, Chinse gvmt is already taking some steps, e.g. China does not accept global garbage anymore. But China has heavy manufacturing and much of its territory is/will be non-habitable bc of industrial pollution. Those are HEAVY issues - and yeah lead to men who lack testosterone and look androgenous and lack physical strength.

And ppl are sweeping under the rug those issues and all kinds of other issues.

The root problem of ALL problems is that ppl like to escape into fantasy without self-accountability. We LOVE TO HAVE FUN AND HAVE A BIG DADDY TO FOOT THE BILL. So all of us - instead of dealing with issues of pollution and lack of testosterone making men look androgenous, instead of dealing with the issues of oppressive gvmts and our own destructive consumerism habits, etc etc ...
we ... escape ... into shopping, games, tinder, drugs, alcohol, worshipping idols of SOME sort :)

We the people like easy fun and games, we like to live in the Pinocchio Candy land, and then we turn into donkeys and die :) but we do not think that far... and of course, any predatory force exploits that, be it gvmt or entertainment industry :)

THE ROOT SOLUTION IS SPIRITUAL EDUCATION but that would make people truly independent and so it never happens :) Predators need their cash cows :) So the cows have to be smart enough to stay within the fence and keep themselves healthy and producing milk and meat, but never so smart to go out of the fenced-off area and survive on their own :)

Right now there is a group of people inside that bigger fenced off area that have created their own little fenced off area :) the little area owner is milking this group, not the big area owner :)
The idols are like separate independent kings who rule the land, not the gvmt... they are like "Chairman Mao substitutes" :) they are their own ideology and distraction for millions of ppl. It is all cool if it is under control of the owners of the big fence and serves the purpose of the owner of the big fence, eg RollingStones served their perfect purpose of dumbning numbing and spreading drugs and decadence. But these new idols are a lot more dangerous :) What they are worshipping is seemingly innocent and socially acceptable... so .. it dangerously creates independent kings with millions of subjects who are functional ppl who vote and take life seriously.
Also, it effectively serves as an "opium epidemics" or "zombie epidemics" as ppl are totally blindly into it and openly rebel against the gvmnt.

The idol pushers are hot passionate ideologists who talk back at the gvmnt and are "justified" bc it is all fun-and-games, entertainment is not "serious". It is catch 22 bc the gvmnt brainwashed ppl to think that "entertainment is only fun" - so now ppl DO believe that - so when ppl complain about their rights to any entertainment they want, the gvmnt cannot come out clean and admit - hey ENTERTAINMENT IS ONE OF THE KEY BRAINWASHING TOOLS and we are upset we cannot control it / use it anymore...

So the idol fans are actually rebelling against the gvmt, they openly oppose it. it is not real progress.

It is like a kid who left an abusive family ... and then joined a gang. The kid never ever learned to stand on their own two feet and be independent. Someone always runs the kid - the kid always stays in the shade of some Big Daddy ideology - first the family, then the gang, ...
In this case, people are refusing to be totally under the control of chinese gvmt - but are worshiping idols instead LOL always something to worship.... ...

and the depth of the issue is obvious - the FIRST to bring up the issue was Chinese military... not gvmt afraid to piss off so many voters... not parents afraid to piss off their genZ kids...

Really the only way out is spiritual education, increasing self awareness and self governance, instead of always depending on something external to tell you what to do, be it idols or gvmt or ... whatever and whoever.
But most likely, ppl will stay ignorant - if you read the comments by the small fence subjects, the depth of their delusion is obvious - they do not even know they are milked inside that small fence... they do not have a desire to abolish the fence... and they have no knowledge of HOW to go about it... only someone like Tibetan Buddhists have the know-how and that is why China is killing them off.... - so .... Imo it is best that BH let JM go, she is 100% undeserving of him. JM and JH are two evil people and should end up together :) and BH should find someone loving caring and honest, like he is. So, imo, In some ways it would be better that BH is Chairman's relative so JM is out of question as his wife. It is best BH never mixes with the evil JM.

Ah this drama is misadvertised. The description I read somewhere else said that he is a farmer not delivering mushrooms to a shopping network. So I expected a FARMER. I just read on this site that he is not really a farmer but a CEO and researcher of a cosmetics company and runs this "farm" which is really a tiny greenhouse. Yeah sure he looks like that kind of CEO - his skin is perfect
