Too bad that kdramas are incomprehensible to you. They are full of humor, compassion and light, like this drama. Did you know that humor and compassion are one of the highest forms of intelligence.

it was all there in ep 1, as they work and live together

i feel sad for you that you are so dead, there was so much community and healing and joy and humor in village life, and the shop host was so funny and endearing too -
So perhaps going back to Pursuit of Jade and Perfect Crown is good enough for you

but ppl want to see porcelain doll actors.. that is so popular now...

That scene in the restaurant is yes about her being a career woman but that is not all of it. There is a LOT more. You are missing on details and humor.

trashy crude hyper over the top cdramas and hwood plots took over, and audience wants porcelain doll actors and Kardashian scripts
and just see these comments, ppl are finding such stupid excuses to hate this drama, the comments are so cringe, I am puking.

The audience seems so addicted to hype, totally incapable of detecting humor or thinking more deeply, and cannot appreciate art anymore.

Real kdramas are sophisticated storytelling with meanings, depth, wicked subtle humor that exposes a whole bunch of issues, compassion, warmth, lightness, character growth.
They are still being made but less and less ppl are CAPABLE of watching them. The world has turned to the "drugs" of meaningless videos and just watching pretty pictures flash by. WE ARE ALREADY LIVING IN IDIOCRACY (2006 movie)

Comments from the audience are super cringe. Here is this audience used to idols flying around in chiffon robes and gazing at each others' eyes, porcelain doll actors, and other such trash that I have seen in Pursuit of Jade and Perfect Crown and such.

this drama promises to be a great kdrama, ep 1 is so funny and on point

and whoever wants to watch pretty and young and rich chaebols and idols city slickers and porcelain dolls - well - go watch that and die early from lack of exercise

and no do not respond to what I wrote here if you are into porcelain dolls. I dislike porclain dolls and do not want to hear one word in their support

and I like this drama a lot so far, I think it is a real thing.

Just do not make ML artificially tsundere, it just does not make sense, that is a cheesy trope for porcelain doll actors who do not know how to act, there is just this poker "pretty face"

Question: why are you sure that Junk Ho is the son of HY and Lapdog? I thought that Lapdog was father of miscarried baby and Junk Ho's father is unknown. How do we know that Lapdog was with HY when Junk Ho was conceived? I dont remember seeing that and I wrote a long post about several possibilities. Thanks.

I agree with what Shinubi said bc then BH would let go of JM.
JM showed no loyalty, love or care to BH and horribly backstabbed BH, JH and SR.

i liked ep 1 a lot, it was funny and dynamic, and had an interesting plot too, and I like ML and FL. Esp FL is great, great script and great actress.
I LOVE THE SCENE when she dumps her boyfriend. That scene told everything about her.

The ONLY thing I disliked is making ML look serious. It is an old kdrama trope of "tsundere" that just did NOT fit that actor. He had difficulty pretending. Bc it was not natural :) and I am so glad!!!! Indeed, the drama should have left ML natural and not forced him to be tsundere . Also, i want to see his eyes. Get that hair out of his eyes.

When you wrote: "Baek Ho is super selfish without an once of empathy. He does not deserve anything going his way." - you meant Jun Ho? Yeah, he is evil. He has some decency but his nature is cruel, he grabs whoever *he* wants even if he is told NO.

Baek Ho is the only truly positive and worthy character in this drama, and I root for him. His exemplary nature is shown when he did not hit JH back

I liked BH-JM romance before and thought it was ok. How come you didnt see it?
I also want BH to be happy and honestly I am not sure if JM will do. She seems so sh.tty, so cruel and careless to him, so dumb and reckless, such a BURDEN to him, that I cannot imagine how she will be a good wife to him...

JM did sooo much bad to BH - did you see post where I counted it all ? JM messed up, did not tell the Chairman, and then threw BH, his brother, and SR under the bus. JM is super selfish and immature. CAN BH FIND A BETTER WIFE?

As for lipstick: there was a scene in an earlier episode where SY wants to apply the lipstick, then she thinks - ah SR wears too bright reds, it is not appropriate for me, I will put another color - and she closes the lid.
This time she was going for that RED lipstick bc she was going to the store to seduce TP :) but Chairman caught her so she could get out of the house with red lipstick on :)

I also think it is better to stop that wedding and stop JM and JH creating super bad karma. Stopping the wedding for their own good.

For Baek Ho - I really liked the love between him and JM. I was rooting for them. However, JM backstabbed BH and I dont want her even close to him anymore. I want her OUT. And I want BH to fall in love with a new good, honest and loyal woman who cherishes him, so that he and she can live happily ever after.

Most likely, BH will take JM back, but I think that is trash script. JM IS TRASH, she is not worthy of BH.

Do these ppl ever work? They spend all their time scheming how they gonna trip and hurt each other. I'd rather watch the show from the point of view of someone working, e.g Chairman, to learn how to do business deals

I admit I fast forwarded through a lot, but I was able to see that TP told BH that JM lost her mom, dad and could not bear to lose BH - what a bunch of crap!!!! IF JM WERE SO CONCERNED FOR BH, why didnt she tell the Chairman? Why didnt she take proactive measures to keep BH happy????

So basically JM was too dumb chicken to tell the Chairman, and then she corrected her sh.t by making more sh.t and JM TRASHED HER SISTER, BH AND BH's BROTHER. Wow.

JM never even once thought what she is doing to BH, SR and JH. In fact, JM never was revenging SR..... she didnt really mention SR...

If JM was so upset with her father's death and mon's predicament, SHE SHOULD HAVE DONE A LOT MORE WORK A LOT FASTER. Instead, she sits on her bum and then throws BH under the bus to save her as#. Ignorant fool JM.
