Ah that drama is 1950s evil LOL FL is this intentional loser and liar and she keeps dumping ML and running away any time it gets difficult... So first he harasses her and bullies her in revenge.. then he likes so he starts chasing her like a bull in a china shop, all hormones, no brains... He is her boss, so he ... plasters her to the wall to post posters, grabs her, tries to kiss her, etc. Also, all that time he believes she is married.... and still does it..... He is hands all over too often at work and otherwise but mostly work. The series was popular bc it started with them kissing and jumping into bed and had quite a few steamy skinship scenes and a constant "sexual tension" as he kept trying to grab her. FL still kept lying and running away, she kept falling and slipping literally 5 times per episode, he kept saving her and grabbing her, etc etc etc etc At the end she again dumped him, he chased her, got into accident, etc. That drama was a toxic dream of some insecure loser woman who wanted a hot sugar daddy to tolerate all her stupidities. THE AUDIENCE LOVED IT and justified every mis-action. "She lied non-stop - but she had to." "He harassed her - but he loved her." etc

Yes if. But seems like a person is not allowed to be rich unless they belong in that evil elite club.
Of course there are exceptions in real life.
The dramaland can do a lot of good or bad by introducing ideas. Hollywood introduces only bad ideas. Kdramas so far introduced good ideas, minus sexism and alcohol :) but that is changing too with the western influence, e.g. foreigners like Netflix and Disney making "kdramas" and ppl being forced to westernize their belief system and lifestyle - that is the death of kdramas - and also short verticals $15 billion industry that will fry everyone's brains and kill any ability to focus or think

It is up to the audience to pick up the message of this drama versus some stupid trash like .... Dynamite Kiss or short verticals

This is a very healing, positive kdrama. It seems like a silly relaxing brainless drama, and yeah sure it has some cheap comedic gimmicks like this cheesy Superman and provincial accents, but it is a very very deep and very positive kdrama, so very healing because it is so humane, honest yet warm, and uplifting.
It tells the story of creating happiness and prosperity by your own efforts, honest yet kind communication, and proper team work.... in ordinary everyday life .... by ordinary everyday people. It is about you and me and our hood and community. That is really profound. I really appreciate it.
Bc of kdramas like this, I am convinced kdramas are the best storytelling entertainment globally. Nobody else has this kind of storytelling. Long live and prosper, kdramas :)

This drama is so positive, things keep moving forward in a very positive way. I really appreciate it

Also, although it is a sad twist, I do appreciate ML actor switching to "usual self" instead of faking this cheesy Superman. At the end of ep 8, it was shock and grief that kicked ML out of that cheesy mode, so that is sad for the character, but we finally got to see the actor, I appreciate that. I do not like that fake cheesy Superman :) It is forced and unpleasant. I like the "normal" version better. Then the expressions of feelings and thoughts are visible. Yeah, Superman feels guilty, seems like his dad beat him up and something went wrong, and Superman saved the baby and not the dad. It is heavy but ....

Also, I am glad the Nephew script finally allows him to be more lively. It is a waste of the actor to keep that actor so gloomy and poker faced. His rare specialty in acting is to be happy, alive and lively. Actually, very few actors can pull that off :) It is actually really hard bc you have to have the experience of that feeling first hand.

OK this is attacking the "modern" version of giseangs, a lot more sinister version.
And so it is addressing the TIP OF THE ICEBERG by showing some catchy hype.
But then there is 9/10th of that toxicity that is hidden still....

There is even deeper issue, which is societal promotion of this kind of stuff, like ppl voting high on Boys Over Flowers psychotic abusive males bc they are "hot", or recently rating high 2025 kdrama Dynamite Kiss as "hot" and labeling sexual harassment in personal life and at work as "he loves her", or liking the violent abusive To my Beloved Thief 2ML as a "hot guy"
I hear there is a drama coming up where ML is a salesman of porn toys.

It is sad but true, society promotes these beliefs and many times women are too dumb to skip the bait.
I understand why men promote this kind of behavior, they are interested in keeping their privileged status. But women ... SHOULD be smarter. But they are too often NOT.

I am using my own mother as a measuring stick. She does not have high IQ, has zero self reflection skills, and is super sexist. She is a very ordinary woman. What kind of stuff can be done to reach down to mindless gray masses like that?

So how to dissolve societal pressure to hold males on a pedestal?
And the societal sliminess, when ppl see someone being abused, they pretend they did not see it. That is the topic of all those school bullying dramas...
But really those two topics together is about ... nacism :) those two premises - here are those privileged, and those who are not, and it is ok to let the non-privileged eat sh@t.

Yeah sure there are high level cases like these but it is all possible bc society holds certain beliefs. In fact, practically everything societal is toxic..... and engineered by some greedies in power to keep them in power. And "ordinary" ppl are just stupidly dumb and just go along with it, like sheep obeying their sheppard who is going to kill them and eat them.

That is the fundamental issue - ppl are sheep, who blindly obey the sheppard..... out of complacency or out of fear...

Right now, there is an epidemic in the USA of stealing homes from single women, elderly, disabled, any "minority" group. Especially condos and townhomes in homeowners' associations.
Women are still paid 70% of male salary for the same job, same qualifications.

Ms. Song got me thinking that I was non-stop played to think ABC about a character and then wonder about XYZ.... until I get the next cue... .
First, I saw Ms. Song as a nasty helper. Then I wondered if she is Yepphee, bc she was so noisy asking questions. But then, we saw her involved in Ms. Kim's murder. Just her face with greed and anticipation about slush fund made me start thinking Ms. Song just wants to steal the company.
Then I realized - hey I was played like this before.... !

Like... the roomie mom. She was just nobody, a background character "filler" for about ... 4? episodes... then suddenly... she sneaks in her kid LOL who TOTALLY takes over lmao

Let;s start from the beginning... we are looking for Yehppee.....

First the two male executives were the suspect Yahppees... but ... in later episodes... we saw they are not. In a few more episodes, we see how they intentionally steal cheat etc. They are baaad guys...

Albert was introduced as a cute lazy immature nobody ... he was our comic relief character and a cute airhead boy to look at.... then about ep 3-4 we see him talking with his idiotic criminal slimey dad and we realize - hey Alex is SMART and really knows what is going on!!!!! surprise! :)
Then... we see Al at the start of ep 5 team dinner... he smirks at FL and new CEO - as if he already knows their true identity and past and present... So... WHAT DOES AL KNOWS AND WHT IS HIS MOTIVE AND INTENT??? Then we see Alex defending FL like an adult man... and asking her out bc he saw the CEO chasing FL ... And then... at the end of ep 6... we see alex talking to one of the kidnappers... !!!! gees twist! he lied he would be at the family dinner - he is an experienced liar.... and he went there on the same night as FL.... and then we see a preview of AL and the moustache man...

So now we are wondering - what is Albert's secret agenda? is Albert one of the bad guys??? is AL managing the slush fund... ??? is AL just secretly helping FL? is AL helping th company bc of FL, or is he genuinely interested? Is AL just interested in saving his own as@, or helping FL, or helping the company, or himself as the future president.... ???

The thief roomie looked like a typical bribed secretary... Then we learn she is a thief... then we learn she is a victim of abuse... AND a thief :)

The new CEO... we saw how he exited FL's life in the past - he did not want to investigate... But then he enters back into her life as her CEO! and seems to be as rough as always... and even more... but then we see his doggy eyes LMAO and it is clear he is just a doggy in love, crawling back to his master, the FL :)

FL is interesting too... We met her as a stern "financial police" officer. But In ep 5, we are shocked to find her all flustered by Albert's courtship. We saw her angry at the new CEO, tiny handshake. But she runs to him to help him when he collapsed on the street.

THEREFORE, NOTHING IS PREDICTABLE HERE :)
AND THAT MAKES IT SO FUN!!!!

I am fascinated how well this drama is made. Characters are introduced one by one in very sly ways, where we the audience ... get a wrong idea LOL or just a limited idea... or just the general idea.... or no information really..... and then... in another later episode! ... the character shows sides we NEVER expected or did not suspect, and/or we get info that MAKES US WONDER .... and then.... later! .... we get info that changes our opinion LOL
It is a masterful hide and seek being played with the audience... It is like we the audience are led down a labyrinth or a maze.... as every character here has secrets.... which are let out one by one .... LMAO

AND THAT MAKES IT SO FUN!!!!

Ok this is just like Dynamite Kiss drama, which had sexual harassment at work by the ML and the audience defended it, saying it is cool bc he loves her. In another drama recently, so many ppl rooted for a very violent 2ML because he was hot. Then we have dramas like Boys Over Flowers, which glorify psychotic violent abusive "hot looking" male bullies...

SO... THE SOCIETY GLOBALLY GIVES MEN THE PRIVILEGE TO BE VIOLENT as a sign of their "hotness".

I almost mixed up one of the FLs with the FL in currently airing Positively Yours, where FL is a rather insecure and rather dumb witted irrational impulsive newly pregnant by accident. Very traditional kdrama role, she is not smart and proactive at all. it is not a complex role at all. I was wondering why that actress would be doing this role... ?? Well it is NOT the same actress lol

Another FL here was the "workers union gang leader" in Dream Life of Mr. Kim, where she totally nailed it, it was a complex and shady gray areas role of a powerful woman.

The music style is from 2025 drama Walking on Thin Ice, very similar melody and approach
