(and he didnt say - in that dress?) She is such a bad liar lol her answer is hilarious... That is hilarious scene as she wiggles ...
That Aah! with the smile is soooo cool, so.... sophisticated. He let her save her face, but both of them knew she essentially confessed :) And then he proceeds from there. A very smart man :)

Yeah western audience thinks so bc compared to what ppl watch there this is an improvement. But this is NOT a real kdrama. It is a fake. It is a watered down Hollywood script with Asian actors.
I hope classic romcoms like A Business Proposal or Dynamite Kiss continue to be produced. If not, we'll be left…
Dynamite Kiss is an evil kdrama propagating "overbearing CEO doing sexual harassment at work and a trepid weak liar snowflake running away FL". Very 1950s. Trash.

Somewhere online someone said they were bored with the romance ML-FL ... and I said wow you missed it LOL I think this is the amazing slow burn tension, as two cats go around the cheese and say - oh I;d liove that but ... I will hold on a little longer and behave ... until... Se Na cannot even look him in the eye bc she has to uphold her "professional lawyer" facade while he is bouncing all round her, hugging and touching her, looking her in the eye and now lately openly asking did she miss him like he missed her... ... Laik is too charming to resist ... and Se Na has to hold on for her dear life LOL She knows the second she looks him in the eye, she is gona be like a match on fire, the second she comes too close, she is gonna be eaten ... and true yes that sofa proves it. ..
HOWEVER, Laik is a real adult man now and he is super careful not to scare her.... and so he approaches slow and keeps his paws off for the most part... I understand why he sometimes loses it, like on the sofa :) he has dated and fully understand what Se Na is good for... but I admire his character for patience. He REALLY loves her. Se Na never dated and is totally out of her realm, so he is trying really hard to earn her trust and make her feel safe. At first he was just an addict to alcohol and sleeping pills... entitled confused lost brat throwing tantrums, his nervous system just fried to exaustion.. ... . WHile living in her house, he relaxed in the safe space and - good for him! - took the opportunity to heal and grow up... and bounce all over her so recklessly... UNTIL he realized he loved her. THEN he went into the ***VERY CAREFUL MODE*** just like a man in love is supposed to be. Laik grew up into a mature adult man now. How nice!
Bc he gave her space, she is now able to relax and be herself, and is not a cemented invincible robot at work, and a scaredy cat teenager at home... Now Se Na is more like a full adult woman too, and she and La Ik rely on each other in equal ways, they are equals, and they communicate and work so well as a team.
**** Se Na and La Ik are like pioneers in gender equality *** true human communication and deep love and romance. **** They are great example of how a romantic relationship is supposed to be, a healing tool and a safe oasis. They work out their issues so well bc both are self reflective and responsible. For example, they showed how their relationship helped Laik to overcome throwing temper tantrums - he reacted badly to seeing the merch but then took his time to check things out, stalk her LOL and realize he loves her, and totally change his approach. She never pushed him, he never pushed her, but they ASK for what is right, she gives him space, he gives her space, they self reflect, they talk.... and always come together at the end. The script is great and I would say, realistic to some degree. He getting off alcohol and sleeping pills might have taken some more time, he not sleeping around as an entertainer also is rather ... hm... rare :) but still the drama is quite realistic
Right now both are kinda keeping their paws to themselves since she is his attorney and he is famous and a suspect in murder, but when all that clears up - soon - it is going to be ... too hot to be in Korea! It's gonna be global warming for sure!!!!! He spent so much time waiting and constraining himself and it is going to pay off.... she learned to relax around him, trust him, and like him. All his effort was a GREAT investment :) If they stay true to themselves, this is going to be a lifelong very deep relationship. The attorney-client relationship is fine bc ... they are not tangled up and also bc they have a great and rather objective and respectful relationship. I think one day when they get married she is not gonna be his attorney for all the small kine stuff like contracts etc but who knows, if he becomes super successful and they buy a building ;) I can see her working full time for their business LOL. But I think she will always have to maintain defending ppl who are wrongly accused.
One thing I would like to see is more love depth from Laik. That scene on the porch after the night was .. too cold. I was wondering if he is angry that he didnt bag her, changing his mind, or what? Perhaps he had to be too cold or else he could have been too hot and too rash... ? Did he feel ashamed since she seemed so cool, or bc he was not able to explain or handle himself? He was so ... gloomy tight lobbying for one more night LOL . I dont know what was going on. But I think it demands explanation for lack of SWEETNESS
I like that Se Na is melting and La Ik is able to help her. THey are equals. Him being there for her is being her man. Se Na is still a super power attorney. Now she is ALLOWED herself to also have a soft side, to even feel grief, to even feel liking La Ik... it is all vulnerable situations. She has never allowed herself to be vulnerable before. ANd now she is! and is still holding up strong .. Se Na grew up into a mature adult woman....
For example, Laik is sooo charming and soooo crafty in cajoling her into mischief... and she is able to resist him and stay objective. She is a GREAT partner for him, his Rock of Gibraltar grounding and a safe stable oasis. And vice versa - he is so creative and spontaneous , and just breaks and melts all her cement walls and mental blockages... They are a great pair, compliment each other so well.
And 2ML turned to be a great guy too. Sure, he was sour for losing his friend and a crush after so many years, anyone would be... but he gave her up gracefully. He let her go see him in a pretty dress, and let Laik go help her. 2ML is cool.
Overall, whoever wrote this script did a good job, plus the acting and filming, is really great.
I had fun with Dynamite Kiss until abt ep 10 but after that it just seemed okay. The last 2 eps was laughable…
I 100% believe that Dynamite Kiss is a very evil drama promoting really obsolete and bad values - an overbearing CEO doing sexual harassment to his employee, and a trepid weak constant liar/runaway loser FL. That drama is from 1950s.
Idol I on the other hand is definitely from 21st century, ML and FL are equal and have adult deep conversations and communication and teamwork. It is a very positive drama

it is hard to lose your friend and crush so sudden after so many years... But ... he did let go. Remember the scene Se Na is running out in that pretty dress and they bump into each other? he was fine. He was also fine letting Laik pass to the Courtroom to help SeNa.
