yeah I think that about Miss Hong actress - she acts the same and very makjangy, but somehow has appeal and I find her catchy to watch. On the other hand, I do not enjoy Ji Sung as much. Personal preference :) Imo she was perfect for Judge from Hell and is quite good Miss Hong
Lee Min Ho is beautiful and acts with his eyes and acts as if in real life. He is not an actor whom I remember though bc somehow.. he lacks depth? Some of his dramas I cannot stand, like Boys Over Flowers, that is so violent, and some I love, like Legend of BLue Sea and his performance in Personal Taste (I dont like the drama itself). That spaceship drama was a total big steaming pile of script and I do not count it LOL
Male actors who I remember and admire for their acting skills are ML in My Mister, and Eric Moon (ML) and his competitor 2ML in Discovery of Love. Very deep actors. Up and coming....? I would say 2ML in Idol I. He was in My Sweet Mobster and has lots of talent, so I hope he advances somehow.

Kdrama lovers already say that kdramas have gone downhill and probably will die off in the next 5 yrs, thanks to this kind of stuff. It is sad. RIP

I will miss this drama. I want to watch Laik and Se Na with their kids playing in the garden of their house and traveling the world to spread the kdrama love.
This is a heavy psychological drama. Ep 9-10 was the romance/ connection development. I admire Laik for being patient...., thats da man.
Today I noticed again that 2ML is so cute, like a teddy bear. I really liked his role in My Sweet Mobster, he had a confession to his girl that was a masterful script and great acting. He was so sure when he said that... I think the actor needs to expand his range of expressions so that he can get bigger roles. he is cute in being cute and confused and rather closed off, but he needs to act more. I want to see it. I think he CAN. But I am not sure. Someone compared his look to 2ML in Dynamite Kiss. That one was beautiful but totally zipped up icy cold. THis one is an alive teddy bear and expresses frustrations and whinng freely. Hm so that;s it - he needs to learn to act more ... caring loving wihtout whining. Good luck... Now I realize that actors are stuck with what script says - but . not really... they can always adopt their own into it.. I would say;... more presence. Grounding. Not being spaced out. I am not a professional so I really do not have ANY idea about this, I am just saying what i SEE as audience.
I checked Laik actor other roles, and I could have not predicted tht he would shine like this in this one. This is a top drama so the competition will work hard to drag it down. I am seeing that in No Tail to Tell... someone in the audience found that one person who trashed the FL there actually opened an account on that day to do that... So when you see ppl making very ... short / stereotypical bad comments, it is worth checking who they are ... they might be troll.

FYI My Mister is one of my favorite shows of all times. It is dark but HOPEFUL and shows how two - actually more - people work tpgether to make it better. It is a masterful drama. IT HAS LIGHTNESS AND COMEDY. It has some grissly dark too yet AT THE SAME TIME it has incredible lightness and LIGHT. That is your western problem, being so black-white. kdramas have darkness and light AT THE SAME TIME. that is what real life is like. kdrmas focus on the light and increasing light.
My Mister shows that even in darkest times, there is light and a way out, and that you can keep your integrity and high morals and just keep swimming forward. It is a POWERFUL message, and that message is the key to all kdramas in general.
