I just finished ep 44 and I still do not understand wth is Ha Neul doing. Please - ideas! He is chasing JW as a lover but she is an immature girl doing stupid stuff, and he watches her do it and even helps her, and keeps complaining about it.
Then all his advances and trying to woo her away from her husband, and she just rejecting him all the time. I can see why JW is stuck on SH, he is a rich hunk who adores her, so yeah! LOL
WHAT IS THAT DUDE HN EVEN THINKING??? I dont understand his behavior.
Even threatening the serial killer psycho... !!!! that is like ... suicidal...

Also, he has zero chemistry with JW, as someone already said. HN actor is just not all that ... skilled.. and JW actress is terrible in acting... so the two o them together just doesnt work at all

I think such ppl do family life bc that is how they get "slaves" and can use ppl for their own benefit , ie they create their own pack... it is like forming your own little army and a network of connections, and indeed camouflaging into the larger social network as a "normal member" . I think this drama is meant for a really dumb audience, to make people who feel like victims and are not very IQ endowed go on a power trip that they can move ahead - by a series of miraculously lucky events.

It is like a CARTOON where good guys keep winning just because, they never get caught and they never ever get hurt no matter how stupidly they act. They are just MAGICALLY LUCKY

I am not trying to be snide and say that only those with high IQ can move ahead. I dont know how to precisely express what I am trying to say... Except that this drama feels like a dream of someone who is TOTALLY CLUELESS
Someone with some IQ realizes that there is no free lunch, there is never getting something for nothing, there is no miraculous luck all the time, and you better be prepared and work your butt off if you want to make it happen for real. THIS DRAMA LACKS THAT MATURITY.
So that's why characters just do not grow.

Like the rom coms that show these immature loser women who somehow get this cruel horrifying guy who magically turns into a wonderful dedicated guy who tolerates all their stupidities. Hey that situation does not exist in real life... maybe 1 in a billion might turn like that.... but all immature women fantasize about it

JW actress cannot act. That is a huge part of the problem.

Another huge part is the script, that makes JW a cry baby. Thats 30-yr old woman with skeletons in the closet and she sits there and WHINES without doing any work on herself. She lacks basic skills like self reflection and communication, and even more basic skills, like WILLINGNESS to resolve things in a positive way. She wants easy tantrum way... just like it was done to her.
She is greedy to get everything by taking it away from others, JUST LIKE it was taken away from her, ....... so she never ever grows up.
I dislike watching a little pouty girl throwing a temper tantrum for 45 episodes.

JW actress is terribly bad, she cannot act, her face is always the same, she is super stiff

JW said many times she wants the riches
the revenge is ... well... a cheap excuse

When JW sits and pouts how her heart is in shreds and that's why she is wrecking chaos on lives of so many people, I just want to give her an ultimatum - go to a psychiatrist or stop whining, GET A GRIP, JW

INDEED LUCIA HAD ZERO CHARACTER GROWTH FROM EP 1. Except cosmetic change of being more calm and more sleek. She has not learned ONE thing. First of all, she has not learned to self reflect
The only good part about Lucia is we do get to see someone who is quite a dedicated mother and caregiver and has a compassionate nature... but is unfortunately having super low IQ

The other characters go from amusing morons (e.g Oldest Brother and his wife and her family) to interesting villains (SJ) and eye candy kinda villans (Concubine Sister), to grumpy stale boring dumb morons (like GC and Madam Gong), all the way to scary psychos (e.g. DMS) LOL

How is this different than Lucia's blind yelling about Mi So at the start of the drama?

No character change whatsoever in Lucia. She is more calm and more sleek and thats it. The same grainless emotional overreactive dumb person who never self reflect

Queen's House was different and that is why it is officially my FIRST daily ever :) It started super dumb and we all complained, and ... by the end we were surprised how smart the good guys were LOL
ANd in this drama, many watchers complained of the DUMBNESS of the "good guys" from the start... They really are dumb. Lucia is brainless, practically. UNTIL .... the end of ep 116. Then she shifts into a higher gear :)

A choice not to even try to tune into something Real is a choice that can backfire. Of course, it is tricky, how do we know what is Real??? Unfortunately that ***is*** truly tricky tricky tricky. Super extra tricky. There is so much scam out there, it is unbelievable. But worth it :)
Personally, I found Tibetan Buddhist, Yogandanda, and a few others worth the time to learn from, HOW to access those deeper parts of ourselves. After much searching, my conclusion is, you have to find someone who comes from a very long tested trusted lineage.

I think it is a lot safer and faster to do my best to stay on that razor's edge of staying in line with the karmic laws, and to let God and karma schedule things for me and lead me forward :)

I am not technically educated in the media arts and am not qualified to comment on the TECHNICAL specifics you mentioned.
I did not have any complaints about how this drama looks. The music with it was ok. The acting is cool. ML was a little ... fake at the start, but then he eased into it and started acting naturally his character, who is very shy actually, and also very outgoing and kind. I love the conversations between the characters. The get a lot done by intelligent conversations. The content is mostly ok, that is the key part.
I said mostly bc I think using shocking tricks in ep 8-9 was cheap. It could have been a quick thing for product placement and done - but the script dragged it for like 30 mins and even advertised it with some Western magazine... if anything, it is too cheap to say that something from a big western magazine MUST be good and hip... esp since most of the West does not know a thing about sexuality and feels very CONFUSED and UNCOMFORTABLE about the body and sexuality.... it is a huge HYPOCRISY..... used for exploitation of women as sex objects - which can be used to sell stuff AND also for using it to justify women as free labor at home and paid 70c per 1dollar of male salary for the same job, same qualifications, and expected to work at home and paid work and raise kids and take care of aging parents for free

Christianity makes the Nature as lesser... so body is considered "dirty" and then all kinds of twisted attitudes and guilt happens trying to sneak around doing what is forbidden.... and esp usa, with puritan roots and associating sexuality with violence and using it to advertise and sell everything and anything, everywhere.... the streets and reading/media are lined with explicitly violent and sexual advertisements ... and woman have to be like barbie dolls with push up bras and makeup.... and the consumer industry of "instant fun with no obligations" .... the underlying gult about "dirty" leading to unhealthy attitudes towards body and sexuality, a "schizophrenic split", sexuality is a dirty forbidden violent guilt trap yet everywhere.... and totally casual like animal kingdom....
Christianity makes you feel guilty any time you feel anything sexual, but you cannot help feeling it... LOL you can only prevent yourself on ACTING on every turn on... but the society does not teach that and makes you feel guilty for even the slightest thought or feeling of it... !!! which is totally unreasonable and unrealistic and no way to "win" !!!! so ppl feel guilty and dirty and ashamed. Some will hide it, pretend, feel guilty, and many will sneak around, cheat, weaponize it, etc And if you hide it, you are "a good person" but you are nobody, and if you flaunt it, you are a slut but you are also a star and popular... Flaunting and abusing sexuality is used as a measure of power over others.... bc the flaunter expresses what most people are afraid of and hiding.... And all of the above leads to a huge sex industry which is scary bc it is related to crime - esp human and organ trafficking and drugs... Junkies pay their drugs with sex, crime and organ sales.. And all of the above leads to a huge porn industry, and raising use of it in the younger generations....
So that was my complaint regarding content.
And fyi you cannot reach enlightment until your sexual self is crystal clear and without any weird habits. Ultimately, daily human health is about all chakras being clear and functioning properly. So this whole topic is really about HEALTH AND WELL BEING EVERY DAY, and the main thing is that a human has 7 chakras and they work well only if each one is clear and connected to all others and the energy flows freely; and if people have clear energetic ties with other people based on clear communication, compassion and kindness.

This is a complex topic. The bottom line is that a human is half angel and beyond the body, and half in the body and subject to all physical laws, one of which is sexual urges, and the two sides have to work together in harmony for a human to be whole, healthy and at peace. A HUMAN IS NOT A DOG :) and cannot mate with any fire hydrant out there... But humans come in all stages of inner maturity and some assemble dogs more than angels :) but ultimately, a healthy happy human is balanced ..... and eventually becomes more and more angel than a dog :) It is called CHARACTER GROWTH :) Being true to oneself and kind to others. Proper aging is about that :) Englightment is about that...
So some christian churches require celibacy of their priests and that leads to pregnant nuns and molesting boys in secret.. and some recognize the reality of the situation, so eastern ortodox priests and rabbis cannot get a parohy until they are married LOL so that they understand their parohians, are not tempted, and their wife supports the community as a pillar of family life... and Buddhist monks can jump in and out and marry... Tibetan lamas can be married... yogis can be married... This is a huge topic.. we are just scratching the surface here..
Also, the issue of masturbation is a real issue for many people who are single and do not want to jump on strangers all the time and end up with a crown of S-lines LOL or their partner is somehow not available (pregnant, sick, too busy, away, etc), like in this case, ML will travel a lot to film, so what will he and his lady do while he is away? But again.... where is the line of avoiding relating to a real person, versus using people as quickie sex toys.... Those are all questions to explore...

Also, our FL wants to learn about her body, but she is NOT going to learn about it with a mechanical object LOL I think a traditional African dance class or Hawaiian or Tahitian dance or traditional belly dance drills or samba or some good yoga like Sikh kundalini yoga by Raviana will teach her a lot more than a mechanical toy would LOL Sure kung u and tai chi will work too.

You have to learn to be comfortable in the body, you gotta learn about ALL parts of your body... to move properly, to be strong and flexible, etc... so .... a proper physical activity is required that will losen the spine and the pelvis.. I think real content is what we want, not blindly copying something that looks flashy and would sell ... The idea of this drama is to make people comfortable with themselves, with their body and sexuality, and to make people truly comfortable with each other too, and to have MEANINGFUL AND WHOLESOME RELATIONSHIPS with oneself and with the lover.
I think one good example in this drama is that the FL is a real person, smart and independent, and even a comp sci major who makes money already with her skillZ. That is a total breakout from the traditional FL as a total dumb loser...
One good example in this drama is when the ML and FL do the project at night and he shares about how the project helped him and he got freed from his previous relationship, and then she asks him if he wants to kiss, and he consents. That is a good example of a meaningful relationship and communication between two people exploring their feelings and trying to become a pair. And... there are even better examples :)
Like in this case, we are not sure if FL loves ML or just wants sex with a good looking nice guy. We are sure he likes her a lot - he loves her already - and is taking very concrete steps to be in her life as her love. There could be some disappointments later if they do not clearly communicate what they mean to each before they jump in...
In real life.. . there should be some questions first before that kiss :) Like... ML slept with Jenny, who slept with half of the global entertainment industry... so ... any stds? when was the last time ML was tested for stds?? There has to be some talking before kissing because even if we think we know the person... Bc... we dont know what they did when they were drunk that one time... and esp if they have a history of many partners.
The drama forgot the mention less-fun real issues such as - STDs.... how about HIV testing, condoms, clamidya, genital herpes, recent epidemics of syphilis? esp with the bi guy....There he is, kissing with a bleeding cut on his lips.... Hm....!!!!!

When a pickpocket meets a saint, he sees only the pockets LOL So, I, as a storyteller, healer, musician, improviser, fashion diva, will notice the script, the messages, the acting, the fashion. So that is what I commented on.

My comments referred to the SCRIPT and acting,
and yeah the "vibe" is the product of that. I think th drama overall is positive and uplifting in many ways. It has its faults and I enumerated some.

Let us talk fashion. You see in kdramas that trope scene when a very plain woman walks out of the dressing room wearing a wedding gown and the man sitting there just opens his eyes in WOW!!!! THAT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!!!!
You are like a person C who now demands the complete analysis of WHY that woman looks so stunning in that wedding dress and why he fell in love with THAT woman in THAT moment.
THAT IS NOT HOW FASHION OR LOVE WORK - you see the whole picture all at once and you either like it or not, and only after that you might start saying - hideous color, hideous cut, hideous blue shoes on the neon skirt etc - or you might notice how th blouse fits the shoes and the jewelry that pops it out.
You fall in love with someone in spite of their faults. You dont nitpick that you love them bc they are certain height and weight or look, etc. You just love WHAT THEY ARE ALL ABOUT.

First of all, I am a right brain person so I see everything at once, like a piece of music - I am saying I like it and you are asking me to analyze each instrument in the orchestra.... I cannot. I am not that educated to tell you that the trumpets messed up in the refrain. I will probably tell you that something sounds wrong or amazing, but I will most likely not be able to explain WHY..

Also, I am psychic and I WILL respond to the INTENT AND THE FEEL OF THE ART PIECE. And other people are too... For example, I can tell if a musician is on something or not, and I can tell when they get off, just by listening to the music. I can tell if the musician is a slimey person. I can feel the slime in the music. And so on. And other people can feel it too. When I played drum music for my dance class, my students REFUSED to listen to tapes of someone who is rather aggressive and angry person. They always picked to listen to music from a group led by someone very kind and compassionate. It was the same songs that both groups played!!!! THE EXACT SAME SONGS. But my students always always picked the music from the "kind" group.
My students NEVER met the musicians and I NEVER talked about those musicians, yet they KNEW, the VIBE WAS IN THE MUSIC.
For example, I never ever liked music of some hot shot old legend musician, and then later I met him and found out he is such a scumbag and womanizer, such a slimeball, I was horrified to spend even a second in his company. I had exact feeling towards his music, years before I met him in person and heard him talk about his life.

So the overall vibe is super important - are we duping, manipulating, etc the audicence, what kind of values we are conveying, etc.
And I totally care for the script and the MESSAGE of the art piece.
To me, that is important, because, at the end, ONLY that is the lasting impression.

WHAT IS THIS THING ABOUT? THe Big Picture... and I think you need to think about the Big Picture
