I agree. Those kids are spoiled. She is essentially using her kids to escape her husband, she is playing "important" and having the kids dependent on her, and she is essentially a single parent as the husband is not helping much if at all with the kids, so it is a negative feedback loop and just making kids more spoiled and more dependent on th mother and driving husband and wife further and further apart.
It is a common situation where mother focuses on the kids and leaves the husband in the dust and then he cheats. The kids are used as an escape from the marriage She said - she does not have any contact with her husband anymore.

And I felt like I was fully grounded, like I was in some kind of "cylinder" from Heaven to Earth and I was feeling very very solid and very very happy - and my love was next to me and I was just happy to be with him, to love him and enjoy him. I was not taking anything from him, just basking in his presence. We were together although we were separate, with clear boundaries. We were like a letter H. He was happy and standing up on his own, in his own happiness. And then there was this bond between us where nobody wanted to take from the other, just give. And in that paradox, we also were receiving from each other. I was so much enjoying us together . My happiness was not because he was giving me soemting but bc I was there PRESENT yo experince the moment of being together. He did not have to do anything to make me happy. I was happy to just BE in that moment, in every moment. Now looking back on my realization, I also will need to learn more about human receiving. So that is love.

The thing is, only 50 ep drama can work through an intricate web of relationships in intergenerational family setting, with SO MANY CHARACTERS interacting, and work through deep issues and show character growth...

The liver ploy came at the very end. I watched that drama because I watch all KBS weekend family dramas at least for research and for nostalgia while I was living alone away from my family, but I am ready to get divorced from KBS family dramas.
