Everything changed... except that Typhoon did not make it big and steady in business YET. But it is on the way. So how can you possibly say that nothing changed?

The romance is a critical part of this business story. Love is why ML and FL stuck it out together and inspired each other.
BUT she cannot say yes to her boss :) bc he can harm her. So she is gonna wait until he proves 10000000000% that he will not harm her in any way. He is her boss. She can lose her job and her entire career if he decides to

Typhoon is practically a startup at the time of a national crisis, so hold on, they canNOT possibly take off overnight!!!! THere are many businesses that just died... ANd this one could too!!! and then the story could be about what they do when their work flops. Or this drama could be about a startup that struggles and finally makes it.

SO HANG ON. Our heroes here have to "cook" some more, they have not transformed enough yet.

I think many problems happen bc ML and Typhoon Co have not figured out yet that Pyo is their steady enemy. They think they run into him by chance and he then competes. But heck no...... **** PYO IS ACTIVELY HUNTING THEM DOWN *****. And they are not aware..... so they do not take precautions....

Also, ML and FL are a little too naive and do not even think that other employees could be doing something bad.... So far... that M dinosaur messed up the textile contract - didnt he work with Pyo on that? - then messed up Thailand... and nobody even held him accountable... gasp!!!! gag!!!! omg!!! The computer dude is 100% useless parasite.... Green Juice Lady took a bribe... Mr. Ko seems to have done something bad too.... The Typhoon family is DISFUNCTIONAL

Like.. the ex main accountant asking ML if his dad left something of value... ML should have asked her - hey why are you asking and what do you think that is, YOU were the accountant....!

But - it wil get resolved as ML is gonna have to learn fast or else go down. ML is just too naive still.

ML is very good at courting FL but he is her boss - and can fire her or spread slander and prevent her from getting another job - and she is the family breadwinner. She is not gonna risk her job for a fling.... ML could wake up angry one day and ruin her career and livelihood.... So he will have to persuade her that he is 10000% committed and that she has a backup if one day he gets mad at her and tries to harm her. She has to be 10000000% sure she has another job waiting for her and a good bit of savings.

It is ok to be honest, positive or negative. It is ok if characters annoy us or inspire us, it means the acting is good :)
Also, there are lots of trolls on MDL who try to shoot down competition, I am pretty sure of that, and also, there is immature audience, expecting quick fixes, etc.

For example, insisting that Typhoon finally quickly takes off big time without any troubles. Well ... for all practical purposes, Typhoon is a STARTUP in a time of national economic crises, AND it has a steady enemy it does not know about - Pyo - AND it has employees that were not always loyal... So... You gotta wait or 14 episodes before Typhoon takes off.

I saw that this drama was highly rated on Netflix, It was #5 before and now is #9 and all shows listed before it are new. So "new and interesting" came by. I am not sure how popular this is in Korea.
It is definitely an art piece, not some mindless trash, so it deserves high ratings.

He is her boss so if he gets in bad mood, he can seriously harm her, she can lose her job and her livelihood. So she wont say yes until she is 1000000% sure he will never bail out on her, and if he does, she has a backup plan. She has to provide for her family

Also remember, he is her BOSS. So if one day he wakes up on a wrong side of bed, or gets angry at her, he can seriously hurt her and make her lose her job, her income, her livelihood.
Until she is 100000000% sure that he wont bail out on her and she has a backup plan to take care of herself and her family, she cannot possibly say yes to him.

Imo a drama is supposed to show character development - how the main character was ignorant in some way and dug a deeeeeeeeep pit for themselves - very often a combo of karmic bad circumstances and their own ignorance - which created a deep pit, so they are trying to climb out of. Someone worthy of a lead will finally succeed in climbing out of it.

The purpose of a drama is to show how the pit was dug out, what prompted wanting to climb out of it, and what strategies the stucko character used to climb out, of course at first unsuccessful and finally successful
So we, the audience, learn by negative example what we should NOT do - e.g. what kinds of behaviors dig a deep pit and keep us stuck in it;
and then we learn by the stucko's successful attempts what TO do.

it is a lot easier to learn on mistakes of others :)

So when I catch myself thinking / doing like a stucko character digging the pit, i should say to myself - oh I have seen that before... lets do something different :)

Of course this leaves a huge room for manipulating audience LOL that is whre true art and mass brainwashing diverge :)

One huge message coming out of JW's pit digging is "make sure to objectively check the facts before you shoot". Bc .. shooting can kill others :) literally LOL Like in Queen's house, FL's mother did not check the facts and went after a wrong person and led to killing her and causing trouble for so many people.
Btw Queen's house is a pit opposite from JW's - there, FL was blind and oblivious and her negligence has caused the evil characters to go wild and kill and cheat and steal like crazy, totally unchecked. When the cat is sleeping, the mice party... In this drama, the mouse refuses the reality of cat and mouse, turns rabit and turns into a dog that bites the cat to death...

So now is episode 30+ and very soon we should start seeing the first JW's attempts to climb out of this pit.

Yeah that is why this drama is a flop, there is no character development except for SeRi. And Lucia is slightly less hysterical and sometimes - but rarely - even acts properly.
The whole drama is just squd games between teams Lucia versus Mins, and team Stela joining one or another.
SJ is not redeemable... He is just evil all the way through and through...

Well that's the benefit - manager Gong gets to live in a nice house and not work too much, and she has POWER - she dresses the Chairman, advises GC, she runs the show behind the scenes....
If manager Gong was really GC's mom, why would she swap babies on her... ?? Why would she forget which woman was in that ambulance? Which mother would swap babies on her daughter and not keep track of where the baby came from... .. ?
But again manager Gong is not the sharpest tool in the box so anything is possible :)

imo manager Gong just pushed the memory of baby theft back in her head.... she did NOT really forget she swapped ... She just did not realize that the woman in the ambulance was Lucia... until she read that paper and rewound the tape in her head... and finally connected the dots that the woman was Lucia LOL

But based on swapping, it is likely that GC is not manager Gong's "real" daughter. Which mother would be swapping babies on her daughter???

It is sooo fun to watch her face and the SJ's face... LOL

yeah Lucia needs to be fired from all villain and revenge jobs and any job that requires brains and focus. I think the only job she would do well is to be a teacher for small children
