yeah hopefully it continues. I have no clue who Zhou Ye is, I usually dont watch cdramas, they lack the humor and warmth and certain sophisticated deep lightness i love in kdramas

Imo it is in some ways, the ML and FL are equal partners, no dumb clutz loser damsel in distress FL here like in Would you Marry Me
But not quite equal like My Dearest Nemesis ... bc this FL has had no job at age 30 and is quite insecure ... MDN FL was a super competent professional
However... how FL helped at the party to call back the victim with mentioning just the startup money qualifies her as a competent in business so yeah then this drama is very similar vibe to MDN
MDN is one of very rare dramas where ML and FL are EQUAL in every way, FL is so mature

Wow ML actor was the ML in My Roommate is a Gumiho ... where he did not act too much... and he was kinda villainish... and that is one of my fav dramas..... and if I am not mistaken, he was a very very dorky looking major nasty villain loan shark and abuser of FL in My Adjushi, a masterpiece drama, one of my favorites... when I saw him.....I was like hey is that the loan shark with those dorky bangs and "pot over the head" haircut and soooooo evil? I think he is...

So now he has progressed into this very complex and masterful acting in a very active and complex main role. WOW! Speaking of growth! He is a great actor. It is so nice to see an actor progress and turn into a "diamond"
THe FL actress I have never seen before... I like her acting too.
The drama ep 1 is stellar. The script, filming and acting is really fun.

Exactly, FL lies for no real reason but to make life easier for HERSELF. Slimey. FL is a very weak person. She is majorly immature.
and her behavior is advertised as "nice and considerate" not "slimey selfish coward"..... her mother does not call her to the carpet and ML comforts her as if she could have not done any better. In reality, she just throws everyone under the bus, again and again, by lying and keeping secrets.

It bothers me that immaturity is passed as "being nice" and forgiven so easily as a normal thing for women. As long as she is pretty.... .
Why? bc her dumbness makes her easy to deal with? It is easy to manipulate and control her.

ok i you think so. I would like to see your version of the drama. I personally think that BadWooJu has a place bc I really do not see what else can fill up the plot and keep it interesting - tje plot of them keeping their reputation and hiding fraud would become too much repetitive. And yeah someone organizing a news conference against them is to be expected LOL at least online trolling and destroying their reputation is soooo typical...

Liking dramas is like rooting for a soccer team - it gets very hot and personal LOL and each audience has its own likes and dislikes and each genre and each drama has its own fans that like or dislike stuff - so to each their own.
I was surprised when I got into the dicussion for Bon Appetit Your Majesty and it was like a huge lively restaurant...
Or law drama Beyond the Bar where discussion was sooo cold and sooo mental, ppl did not even notice the flirting of ML and FL... !!! I was like .. is this possible?
Or a 50 ep weekend drama where there was no physical attraction in any way between middle aged ML and FL and the audience - also older - thought there was nothing off with that ...
Or a very young ppl drama whre you get to hear such ... well... immature opinions...
One of my favs was the audience that FIRST commented on the very last episode of The Twelve - that drama flopped and the comments were the funniest memes ever LOL I was falling off my chair laughing...

SO - visiting a drama chat room is like going to a different planet, with a certain kind of "inhabitants"....
Rom Coms draw younger audience that is less mature and so c'est la vie :)

Well I am glad you do not understand me, we clearly watch on a different level :) perhaps you can learn something from me since I have a little bit more perception? First, I am an improv comedy "actor" aka improviser, I am a storyteller and writer and actor, I am super highly intuituve and shall I say clairvoyant, I have insights, I see the unseen, I make a living as a life coach and healer, so watching people is what I am sooo good at and very interested in... Watching plays movies dramas helps me to learn about people and to hone my skills...
Then, I have MENSA IQ so it is easy for me to remember.... and I remember bc I like it. I think about what I saw, I analyze it, I learn from it.

So I remember scenes and acting that was super good - or bad :) This FL in MFWS was super bad LOL or shall I say she was super good in badly acting a really doosey character, in a fake way, and now she repeated the same acting. I am like - NOOOO NOT AGAIN!!!!!

Often I think of truly great acting and script that I saw somewhere. Like the last 2 days I was thinking of H Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in movie Casablanca. Wow what a movie! So seemingly simple but absolutely perfect, And I am currently mulling over american movie Idiocracy and series Selfie.

and a rare chance to see FEMALE actors in complex roles and acting ah so well to bring it to life

This is such an interesting script, complex characters, and such interesting ACTING by female actors embodying those COMPLEX characters
IT IS SUCH A TREAT TO WATCH THESE AMAZING ACTRESSES BRING THESE COMPLEX CHARACTERS TO LIFE!!!! FINALLY!!!! ABLE TO SEE GREAT FEMALE ACTING!!!!

such a nice RELIEF from the typical dramas esp rom coms with anxious weak snowflakey young women who are so boringly FLAT - always anxious or worried or sad, ... soooo flat... boring... the only interesting scenes are flirting with cute guys but there is practically nothing related to interesting character, good acting or interesting plot

Also, it shows true frindship between women. That is precious too

I am sorry to say that their men are such doozies... from ep 1, I am 99.99999% sure one is either gay or cheating, the other one is very likely cheating, and the young one is definitely cheating - all confirmed in ep 2...

But I think it is put in here to show that men have not caught up to the female equality and it is not easy for women to find and maintain loyal husbands. So I am looking forward to see how the drama will resolve it.
All the pairs lack communication... and effort ......
The women have to change too.... . Honestly, those two married ones are not doing much to maintain their marriage and I myself would leave them if I were their husband, and the third one is just liking a gigolo so of course she will never find a real man.

So this looks like a very promising drama to address the issue of new era relationships and marraige. I totally love the scenes with lots of kids, that was soooo cute!!!! the kids of one of the women are too spoiled, seems like, it is clear their father did not help much. A woman who lies to her mother about her marriage and lets her husband skip her bday is a woman who is having a bad marriage and a bad life... Let's see how she solves it!!!!

The one with the impotent husband is so aggressive, and he plays her like a kid with his mommy.... I am not sure WHICH man could do well in bed with her, she is just scary nasty.... nothing appealing about that... and the third one loves to be in control and own her man, and wants only fun, so finding an equal man will be interesting.

All three have potential and ideas and I am sure they will work it out!!! I am looking forward to it!

FYI it is great to reflect why something bothers us :)
ANd if you know that is your weakness, then work on it. The key to everything is GRATITUDE and acting out of LOVE. So - just do what you love and you will be rich enough,

Money is never easy to come by. The only way is to love the way you are making it. It will be hard work regardless if it seems "easy".

Even those who steal, cheat, sell drugs, etc and have seemingly "easy" way of getting it, are working super hard!!!! ALl that lying, cheating, hiding, stealing, ... is hard work too !!!!! For example, avoiding police, bribing, meetings, threatening others, avoiding being beat up, etc etc - is all hard work!!!! Just check out kdrama Walking on Thin Ice...

Let;s say you find a sugar spouse who gives you money. BUT THEN... you gotta sleep in the same bed with that person, listen to them, cater to them, kiss up to them, sneak out to do what you want to do... THAT IS ALL SUPER HARD WORK :)

JW got all this easy money by HARD WORK in fraud... all her lying, cheating, running around places to meet with ppl and put out fires.... always anxious she will be discovered ... she is already taking pills bc she cannot sleep... she already alienated and lost her family... her money is NOT easy, she just sold her soul to the devil and is already paying a high price :)

So it is actually much easier to work honestly and make honest money. You can sleep at night :) you can have true friends and community, you can be happy

HR did NOT abandon JW.... She put effort in finding her and is STILL looking for her.

JW never ever tried to find out the facts about HR.

JW acts as the God almighty and is the judge and the jury in this trial without HR having any chance to defend herself...
JW is daddy's girl and listens blindly and already decided that HR is guilty and thus JW feels entitled to torture HR to death and to enjoy torturing her.
I DISLIKE JW FOR ENJOYING TORTURING OTHERS WITHOUT ANY FACT CHECKING FIRST.

In any case, I think JW is mentally off, as she ENJOYS torturing HR without checking the facts. Also as daddy's girl, JW found a reason to justify her staying in the rich family - she has to continue the greed and fraud to destroy HR - and she found a reason to justify torturing someone she has never checked for facts. OVERALL, JW IS IMMATURE, SELFISH, AND NASTY.

I think JW has mental issues and should see a psychiatrist asap as she is NOT "normal" anymore. At this point, she is a psychopatic con artist. I am not a medical professional so this is a very amateur best guess assessment

How will she come back... is a good question :) She INTENTIONALLY created a deep hell pit for self, let us see how and if she climbs out of that...

Queen's House FL also created a deep hell pit by her blind ignorance that killed numerous people and caused harm to many... and she reflected and put in effort and managed to crawl back out and stand up and fly. That was a great drama.
WOman who Swallowed the Sun also created a deep hell pit by her blind ignorance that killed ppl and caused harm, and she NEVER reflected on thatm there are only 19 eps left and the FL is as dumb as at the very start, and that drama is a total trash flop.

Let's see if this drama can show substance... The diference here is that FL is a mean person and even enjoys harming others. THat is a VERY deep hell pit that she dug out for herself...

It is already ep 32 so she better start working on climbing out asap. But she won't, until karma hits her :) So let us pray she is lucky and gets slapped in face and forced to start changing
