The script is dumb and it DOES depend on the audience being dumb. For example, the trope of "lying to save another person from trouble" and creating super extra trouble from that, and THE AUDIENCE THINKS IT IS OK. There are posts about that. So immature audience gets an aimmature cheap script and everyone is happy

personally, I think BadWooJu is ok in the plot. Without him, what would the plot even have... ???

That is an extra witness .... better to keep it in house :) if you can :) and clearly, Jessica can... she can drive trucks, give injections, do accounting, sales, child rearing, etc for 30 yrs...

There are current "different" kdramas that are popular. But since majority of humans are immature and rather dumb and weak, of course the empty meaningless trash food and sex and violence is going to be most popular. However, humans also CAN detect masterpieces bc that too is ingrained in human nature - we are half devil and half angel - so true masterpieces that speak of Something Higher also become popular.
I am now thinking of a movie like Casablanca with Henry Bogart and that famous pretty actress. THat is such a simple cheesy movie, isnt it? But it is considered a masterpice and was popular. Why....?

Her lying is causing trouble! She is not warning ML about the danger. Her lying is SELFISH and DANGEROUS as she throws ML under the bus, keeping it secret that someone - BadWooJu - is out there to get him, and therefore ML is totally unsuspecting of danger and can easily be taken down. Plus all the lies when FL brutally dumped ML and harmed him and made him suffer. Plus all needless lying to her mother. ALL THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE, FL IS A SELFISH SNOWLAKE THAT THINKS ONLY OF THE COMFORT OF HER OWN AS@. A real grown up talks things through and does not keep secrets from her teammates, esp when secrets are about someone putting the teammates in danger. FL IS D U M B AND W E A K

Exactly! that is what I was trying to say. The bad part of the drama is making that kind of lying acceptable and ML comforts the FL for doing that instead of saying - hey you threw me under the bus!!! dont you think I MUST know about BadWooJu being around and trying to ruin me?? SNAP OUT OF IT, KID! Instead, he hugs her and comforts her. Bologney....

I didnt say the characters are the same - indeed MFIS is slightly more shy - but both are snowflakes and anio! liars. I said that the acting is the same. SO do not out words into my mouth.

Imo the acting IS the same. THe same facial expressions that annoyed me in MFIS are the same that I notice in this drama. I AM BORED WITH FL ACTING. IT IS LIFELESS FLAT AND BORING AND ALWAYS THE SAME. This is my opinion and I stick to it :)

I dont have any information or experience to make any decision on this, but it seems to me that chaebol $$$$$ would mean they would find JW super fast... UNLESS the CEO made it impossible or HR .... ? somehow blocked her searches... ? faked it ... ? paid for / helped the stepmom to disappear?

yes indeed.... JW is heading into a spiritual suicide since she behaves like a little girl who blindly listens to her daddy and hates those who daddy hates - without any questions... and JW also behaves as a God, deciding who and how SHE will punish...... She is ***majorly*** immature and dumb

I suspect he kinda jailed her - if she doesnt do as he wants, he WOULD hurt her

Watching this drama reminds me of The Twelve, which also tanked gloriously LOL so just like there...

And Tae Ju saying - hey, Lucia and I mean nothing to you - is also another deep moment whre Tae Ju is faced with swallowing the sun... He sees the sun ... and WILL HE swallow it... ?
And Lucia signing off for the sake of SeRi is actually one of those few deep moments where th woman really swallowed the sun and acts as a natural mother, where motherly love does not see any faults....

TK swallowed a burning coal when he joined Lucia's revenge bc he could not let go of her...
He lives his life as if he already swallowed the sun long time ago though...

All the rest of them do not even know that the sun exists LOL

So yeah at this point I am curious how these people will deal with the idea that they cannot see the sun, that the sun that is at their face, being showed their throats... or going down their digestive system already....

yeah it is morbid curioisity, you labeled it correctly. Watching to see how much worse it can possibly get? I feel like I am watching an experiment to find the depth of human dumbness

Oh that is a misunderstanding. I was bothered about her lying to ML and to her mother. She just keeps lying to her loved ones, who are her teammates, and THAT is not cool, she keeps harming them. She dumped ML by lying to him... that is cruel. And she kept lying - first she did not say BadWooJo came back, then she lied about BWJ in hospital, then she lied about BWJ breaking in and blackmailing her.... SHE KEEPS LYING TO ML ABOUT THINGS THAT SHE MUST TELL HIM, FOR HIS OWN SAKE. She is a traitor, all the time.
