That kiss 🥵 was not expecting at all. Damn, I want another drama with Oh Jung Se and Kim Shin Rok 🥵
I was almost rolling off the chair. Bulgae tried to bs her and she took him down lmao Finally he found his match

Prosecutor Kang is an awesomely cool female lead, it was a pleasure to watch her

Ma Gong Bok is ridiculously possessive of Beom Ryeong 😭 He won't even let his hyung date in peace 😂
I was hoping to see him date lmao but he is too immature for that... Between us, he is still the cutest of the main male leads.

Me too 😭 I will miss them, this kind of dynamics, this kind of cast and this kind of drama 😭
Yeah this kind of "real" kdrama is going extinct, as kdramas chase Netflix and Disney money and become more and more westernized to appeal to Hwood audience

I know right! This drama is so underrated. People just skip when they saw mostly veteran actors.
ok if you dont understand what I wrote, but perhaps you will think about it, as the world of emotions seems to be too far from you now and so you are missing out on a lot of nice stuff :)
FAREWELL I will never contact you again :)

This is so underrated here. This is a true kdrama, lots of ordinary ppl working together to overcome evil It made…
Yeah, kdrama 50s Professionals is about community and neighborhoods, has 5 very interesting and conflicted and paradoxical male leads, and at least 5 very interesting/smart/smooth/paradoxical villains.

It is an amazing drama with 3 very strong and very cool adult female leads, esp prosecutor Kang is super cool

It has TONS of great actors in supporting roles, from kids to elderly

It has lots of self reflection and lots of very deep dialogues and TRANSFORMATIONS of the characters

It really portrays characters deeply, they are never 1 dimensional, they have so many facets. And finally I understand the difference between thugs/gangsters, soldiers, spies/operatives/NIS-like, etc lmao

And it has humor that is very ... funky. Prosecutor Kang taking Bulgae down is hilarious.

And as for fighting - it is actually fun to see fight moves in slow motion. I really enjoyed the circle leg kicks etc I am personally not into fighting, and the amount of fight scenes was manageable even for me. They were not "shocker" scenes

So overall, 50's Professionals is what I would call a "real kdrama" - it has really ***deep meaningful plot, dialogues and character analysis and portrayal and growth, personally and as a community***, and it does NOT depend on shocker scenes to create plot.

Agent Kim Reactiv. on the other hand is quite westernized. Anything from the plot of bad parent, isolated ppl, villains that are well 1-dimensional, no main female characters, no great self reflections and dialogues, but lots of SHOCKER scenes like violence, etc
The saving grace are the other two male leads, who add the homey touch and make AKR have some resemblance to a real kdrama.
So - I am waiting to see where that will go.

Not sure about the AKR but Fifties Professionals is definitely awesome. Nice balance of comedy, emotional scenes,…
Yes! After thinking about it, I will have to add to my original post: there are 3 very strong female leads here too. Restaurant owner, the policewoman and esp prosecutor Kang are so cool. Bulgae found his match :)

yeah this drama is more like Weak Hero, no talking and all fights, and I find those boring and crude

"Maybe because I am old, but I really value veteran actors" mathematically means that you can value veteran actors if you are not old, etc
BUT IN SOCIAL ENGLISH, the vibe of the sentence hints at a certain desperation about the relationship between old age and liking veteran actors

MATHEMATICS IS DIFFERENT THAN EMOTIONS :)
you can write a perfectly mathematically correct sentence but the way it is said means something totally different.

Here is your exercise: Say this in 5 different ways thinking of 5 different scenarios: HE IS A DOCTOR. Say it as a compliment, as a surprise, as a slander, as a ridicule, as a praise, as a bragging, etc

This is so underrated here. This is a true kdrama, lots of ordinary ppl working together to overcome evil

It made me growl to see Agent Kim Reactivated trash comments saying AKR is better than this one and they are glad this one is gone and AKR replaces it. Agent Kim drama is ok but .... it is Hwood type, it is Weak Hero vibe, it is .... more isolated and more "luxurious"vibe and sheer fighting lots of poker faces without talking, without much self reflection in there. Also, all male main roles, except the teenage daughter but she is a total moron clutz clueless kid

Anyways I love kdramas and I always hope they all will be good and real, and it is concerning to see them westernized and becoming extinct

This kdrama is a good and real one
I love the deep dialogues, deep conflicted paradoxical characters, character transformations, etc
I love the portrayal of community, the neighborhood, small businesses, etc and also there are 3 very strong female leads here too. Restaurant owner, the policewoman and esp prosecutor Kang are so cool. Bulgae found his match :)

there are tons of great actors in this drama, of all ages, from kids to elderly
I love that the drama does not have "pretty actors" obtained by plastic surgery and dieting to death and pale in their faces.
I love the ENERGY of the drama, it is energetic, not some slow motion tired (well when you diet, you have no energy to act, and if you have plastic surgery, you cannot move your facial muscles so you cannot act... )

I am so glad to see Bulgae actor again, he is a fantastic actor, one of my favs. I loved his role here and I love that Prosecutor Kang got Bulgae down, pun intented, that was one of the best scenes lmao He found his match lmao And the last scenes are hilarious

And, I cant find that post now that discussed the handsomness of the leading actors. So I have to add to my earlier post about it. The two actors who are NIS agents have smiled in the last 2 episodes, and that makes them super charming, that big nice smile. Also, I realize that politician Han was so handsome bc of the glasses!!!! Wow I never knew glasses can change the look in a positive way

WHY DOES ONE HAVE TO BE OLD TO LIKE QUALITY?

So this ballooning out of control reminds me of that recent drama MAD CONCRETE DREAMS - where one thing led to another ......just like here

But Mad Concrete Dreams was not popular, and her ppl are swooning how hot this drama is. Bc MCD was about ordinary ppl who are not rich.
This drama reminds me more of Kwood than kdrama so far. It remains to be seen how it progresses

The jail scene is a hilarious and deeply sobering reality of the legal and law enforcement system..... In the apartment, zillion criminals are all set up taking organs out, while the babysitter taekwando is the only person in jail

THAT ONE SCENE SAYS IT ALL

it is very fair. It allows for advertising revenue, for public buzz, etc. Showing all episodes at once kills kdramas
unfortunately this is a comment many ppl SAY and EXPECT and it really does kill kdramas

Then don't watch it. No one is forcing you to watch .
Then stop bsing. Everyone here is entitled to provide their opinion If you dont like my opinion then ignore my posts or block me

If ppl have a different opinion than you, you CANNOT shut them up

SO STOP WASTING MY TIME. Spending 5 mins to open and read this kind of meaningless comment is a waste of time. Just FAREWELL

I love the taekwando master actor in this role, he is super fun and cute. The other military friend actor just finished another fun role in The Legend of Kitchen Soldier. It is fun to see him doing fun roles.
