i am so totally impressed with HJ actor in the last several episodes, going through the emotional meltdown discovering who his dad is and then his talks to his mother, father, and Yo Na. Wow great acting skills! lots of talent

It is 1000% HJ's fault that he ditched Min Ju as his friend and brother and WILLINGLY stole Jin Ju... It is 100000% HJ's nasty that he consented to marry Chloe so that she can use him and then HJ keeps trying skinship all the time and Chloe pushes him and he comes back for more abuse like a yoyo. The pea sized brain, and they just CANNOT SEE. They cant!!!!!! They believed Trump and Foxnews. Or they are high on legal marijuana. Or some painkillers or sleeping pills or antidepressants.... Or they are just running around shopping and playing video games and watching the drama and the same time...

ANd that's what I am talking about - they turned a realistic kdrama plot of two low level office workers into Hwood plot of "big boss falls for a low level worker by some sheer unexplained magic" - this is sooooo anti-concept in kdramas and soooo Hwood...
kdramas are about character development of ordinary ppl so to speak
and this drama is all about some magical lottery winning

That's what I am saying - they killed the kdrama and turned it into Hwood so that ppl with $$$$ will watch it i.e 300 million Americans and their Netflix DOLLARS and other tv station dollars - now you can watch kdramas on Sinclair tv station, which is Fox news like super conservative ie their main goal is to kill kdramas by turning them into Kwood - and so the cultural genocide is to make a kdrama catered to that kind of audience, and it will be popular on Netflix and the drama will rake in the money - so they just made it like Hwood to make sure it sells

kdramas by definition are NOT super simple. By definition, they are deep in a fun and very sneaky smart way. EVEN when they seemingly look simple. like Our Happy Days, currently airing daily.... btw that daily is a great example of what kdramas are... It is not as funny as it can be, but ...

Think movie Parasite. It is super simple, isnt it, but is super deep, and funny in a very sneaky way. So yeah that's kdramas.

Well how about this - try anything from the watchlist of an experienced kdrama watcher. He / she happens to like thrillers etc but there are comedies in there like High Kick seasons 1 2 3 - I like season 3 the best.

I love that scene of BitNa and her dad meditating on the bed. I was smiling from ear to ear. How cute! and practical. The whole thing, including the talk/crying after.

I suspect that Grandpa ran over ML's father or somehow caused his driver, SR's dad, to run over ML's dad. Or somehow in some way Grandpa caused the death of ML's dad. Then Grandpa adopted the kid, and SR's dad went to jail in place of the Grandpa, bc ... a Chairman never goes to jail lmao.

I liked how G told EA about his parents, it was acted quite well, this is one of the better scenes of ML actor. I was starting to be annoyed by G his keeping such heavy secrets and by ML actor's obvious "I know I am pretending to act this dude G" face.
I remember Home Town Cha Cha Cha, where FL almost left ML bc he wouldnt tell her about his past and she said - no secrets allowed in a relationship. That's the proper attitude in deep relationships.

Esp now, when FL's mom and grandma have to reconcile, Grandpa is about to die every second, Mr. and Ms. Satan are getting more agitated and more criminal, there is the competition now with corporate espionage, MH is going bananas with SR bc SR chases G, and SR's dad/jailmate and thus mom/family have super major issues... and G still talks about leaving to the USA
Those are very heavy duty plots
and yeah the drama is still super "normal" and "ordinary" it all flows thanks to a good script and good acting, the toxicity is not raw disfunctional unbearable ridiculous crazy town. This is toxicity of so-called "ordinary ppl" in daily life, and the drama makes it palatable bc it shows the good, the bad and the ugly, there are plenty of moments of "light" and warmth as well as darkness and stagnation and ignorance - and criminality, Mr. and Ms. Satan are criminals

I am not putting a spoiler tag on this bc this information is critical for ppl who are supposedly watching this drama but have not seen anything.

The comments of those ppl tell me WHY this drama is so super simple high-school / Hwood quality - seems like a huge portion of the audience lacks the ability to WATCH AND SEE.

Well two ppl who work together every day have plenty of time to fall in love, but it has to be shown HOW it happened.

The drama starts from the middle - the guy is already so in love that he openly chases FL at work and she is avoiding him - heck that is a high school plot. Or Hwood delulu .

And since kdramas have sold out their soul to cater to Hwood audience - and perhaps Chinese audience and ppl who watch cdramas, which are extremely similar to Hwood - now we have this ... BLAND highschool-like Hwood aka Kwood thing sold as kdrama rom com

This is a Kwood drama, totally copied from Boyfriend on Demand, except that ML here is not grumpy closed, but also grieved and sad on top of it, so he is slightly more human and more forthcoming than ML from Boyfrend on Demand, but also, essentially, a BOY TOY
