So far, Ji Hu is stupid, trying to make it with DoDo out of what kind of stupid false sense of loyalty? It is clear she is UNSUITABLE and he still keeps her. Perhaps that's why you dislike him
He is a mommy daddy son so it is going to take a while for him to dump that leech finally. But he is a very nice, warm, cuddly and reliable guy - and he is already in love with Ji Ni :)

Ji Ni's boss is too cold and reserved and nonchallant. Not a good one for Ji Ni except as a boss/friend

With all due respect, our heroine is STUPID and the actress is quite terribly unskilled. I am fast forwarding until she grows up a little bit to be interesting to watch

Oh the same old plot - a very smart and powerful villain, and a VERY stupid naive reckless rash irrational main character who has NO common sense and NO skillZ for life - it is like watching a big cat playing with a bleeding half dead mouse - so we watch how the villain just maims the victim for like ... 50 episodes if we are lucky like in Queen's house, or 138 episodes if we are NOT lucky, like in First Man trash... And then miraculously this half dead bleeding punctured mouse comes back to life and bites the cat.
But I dont watch the cat torturing the mouse for 100 episodes.

I haven't seen Master's Sun, but ... if it is Ji Sub... he is boring :) poker faced boring kinda tired and depressed looking all the time. Not my idea of an attractive man. He looks like a very very tired soldier. I always have an urge to send him on a FUN LONG VACATION to rest and start smiling

I am not interested in nitpicking these details. They meet a lot at crime scenes, have LOTS of interactions at crime scenes, she helps him solve it,
some crimes they even solve together from the beginning

imo this has a lot of thriller moments about solving crimes with both of them on the screen in some kind of cooperation

The role of G is written very crude / callous / oblivious to EA, he does not tell her stuff, from serious stuff all the way to courtesy call that he will be out all day and night. He is just too selfish and flakey and EA acts as his nurse. So far, G does NOT deserve EA

G is a very weak person and a flakey snowflake... He doesnt deserve EA yet. I cringe how crudely he treats her. like not telling her he will be away all day / night
