Ah this drama is addressing some real-life issues that are EPIDEMIC in the USA... actually something exactly like…
**** Financial and other frauds with common funds of homeowners associations is a GOLD MINE OF TOPICS for dramas and movies **** there is an epidemics of that in the USA. I will be glad to help. I have tons of evidence that I collected over the years and I already wrote draft books about this.
The scams with non-judicial and judicial foreclosures on apartments and town homes, anything that has COMMON FUNDS, are super common. The end of John Oliver's video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrizmAo17Os shows the realistic tricks the people on the Board of homeowners associations use to steal money -

So... the future dramas and movies should look into those scams and make some cool movies and dramas...

NOW I AM GOING TO PROVIDE SOME EXAMPLES BUT THIS IS NOT TO BE USED FOR LEARNING HOW TO CHEAT, AS I FOUND MOST PPL USE THIS EVIDENCE..
THE EXAMPLES HERE ARE TO SHOW THE PUBLIC THAT THERE IS ESSENTIALLY CRIME GOING ON AND TO STOP IT as for dramas and movies, these are great ideas for scripts.
Two most common ways: 1. fining owners for ridiculous petty stuff, handing the case over to attorneys, who rack up HUGE attorney bills and then just take the apartment / town home without any judicial intervention to pay those bills.
2. they sue owners for ridiculous stuff and use corrupt judges to rule them huge attorney fees. To collect that, the homeowners association then forecloses on the property - and buys the property for nothing
SINCE THEY GET THE PROPERTY FOR NOTHING, THERE IS ALWAYS MONEY STILL LEFT TO PAY, SO they SEIZE ALL OTHER ASSETS OF THAT OWNER So from a totally bogus fake false lawsuit, you can generate profit of seizing several condos worth $1.2 mlllion. I have all evidence for a case like that. One case in Colorado against a disabled single woman homeowner - the attorney just issued her an order that her private land belongs to a HOA and then they took the house for attorney fees. One case in Hawaii - Varta vs PMK - $150 house rules fine for having a dog turned into $50K attorney fees and condo taken The 2016 Brown at al vs PMK and another law firm for non-judicially foreclosing on I think 70 condos in 7 building, 70 ppl lost their homes... THIS WAS TOTALLY KEPT OUT OF NEWS IN HAWAII...
The fun part is that many such attorneys and judges own private companies related to real estate and its stocks... very often those companies are under their family The fun part is that insurance cooperates with such judges and attorneys to condemn the homeowner, so that insurance does not have to pay
**** This is an epidemics in the USA, esp against elderly, disabled, single women, and minorities. *****
Some States like Florida have wealthy elderly so it is harder but it still happens, search for Hammock HOA case, or in California bc it rather wealthy it is harder,
But most States are in bad shape, attorney general and everyone else just stays out of this, nothing is enforced, and especially the states with lots of minorities and/or absentee owners.... and state officials and judges APPOINTED by the governor, like in Hawaii,
To understand what they are doing: usually a new judge was an attorney. They start in First Circuit Court, then proceed to appellate court. Appellate Court is THE bottleneck because the lower courts CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT if they have a buddy at the appellate level who will deny all appeals against the lower courts :) Appellate judges then get promoted to the Supreme Court, and there is nobody above it... AND, State judges get promoted to the Federal District Court of that state.
So what I am saying, it is all the same people shuffling around and getting higher and higher up. So if you have some "smart" governors who appoint "their" judges - eventually ... the entire legal system is "theirs"
The USA already legalizes abusing ppl by big companies legally forcing their customers to resolve disputes in arbitrations - but the law says that arbitrators are allowed to make mistakes lmao and those mistakes somehow are always in favor of the big companies...
Esp in Hawaii, where Hawaii Rail - kinda imitation of San Francisco Bay area BART rapid rail transit system - was authorized without approval of the locals, and yeah the lawsuits against it were shut up - and costs so far huge amounts of money and is super late - it was $12.5 billion dollars and 11 yrs late in 2021.... , to the point that Feds started investigating - but miraculously - omg... what a coincidence lmao during COVID, those feds left and the issue was dropped... Just search Hawaii rail stats money and you will find lots of articles ...
Hawaii is similar to Japan, it is an island where "everyone knows everyone" Also, the court system is dominated by Japanese, as they immigrated to Oahu in huge numbers in 1970s and bought the downtown Honoluly land and put skyscrapers and apartment buildings, making Oahu super urban congested Now there are brand new "towns" of Hawaii Kai, Kapolei, etc. all town homes and apartment buildings :) Hawaii has 1200 apartment buildings. Practically each one pays about $2000 per month for maintenance to some property management company. So a big company like Associa Hawaii or Hawaiiana has ... 300-400 HOAs to manage... that is ... half a million dollars per month budget... and if you search online you will see that many Hawaii legislators are employees of Associa or PMK.... and you can see how much money they got. Hawaii legislature ROUTINELY ruled to adopt rules that suit the developers and property management companies and are against homeowners. The interesting thing is that Maui fire happened shortly after one such legislator Rosalyn Baker retired and moved to Maui...
SO IN SHORT: having all that "common funds" for a building is an open invitation to abuse - **** Hawaii especially island of Oahu and the South East of the USA are notorious for corruption and stealing property.
Also, there is even worse systemic stuff.... Hawaii island of Maui fire case of 2023 should be made into a movie because they essentially killed several thousand people to steal the land, allow millions of gallons of scarce water for agriculture (the fire started just as the locals were going to extend the court ruling that the big agg has to take less water), and allowed building apartment buildings and townhomes lmao Police directed hundreds/thousands of people to drive into the fire. The home-made videos of direct witnesses were all hushed. And it was all hushed and the official lie is that the electrical stuff gave but that is not true.
For some weird reason, everything blue in the fire stayed intact, so cars and houses and trees burned, but not the blue plastic bins for recycling. This is a movie on its own. Or a drama, of how Native people are chased off their land.
Another trick is just using the land for a long time without permission and then filing a lawsuit that it is theirs just bc they used the land. Natives fight by filing Quiet Title lawsuits but - suing requires time effort money stress so many ppl just back off. Corrupt judges and attorneys are the key here.
In Hawaii the law is that all HOA money has to be kept in a local Hawaii bank, but property management companies send money to the continental USA and then back... yeah the word "laundering" comes to mind, doesnt it? Esp since Hawaii is a huge harbor, large international airport with a huge tourist transient traffic, and a very corrupt state so it is super likely that all kinds of drugs come through Hawaii... Hawaii has epidemics of crystal meth, many ppl make it in their kitchens, marijuana is grown and used extensively, etc.
and then they used Mutual of Omaha bank from Nebraska , then it was renamed CIT, now bought by First Citizen Bank which opened an office in Hawaii without a teller, and those banks always kept very cryptic bank statements, and property managers do not disclose their own books to owners - although the law requires them to, there are "condo law" statues HRS 514B - so ... the money operations are usually hidden from owners.
In Hawaii, the law regarding condos and town homes is not enforced, and you will see that if you google cases. Names of law firms such as Porter McGuire Kiakona not Porter Kiakona Kopper, and property management companies like Associa Hawaii, branch of Associa based in Texas and founded by and now presided by a former congressman John Carona who was accused of changing laws to fit his business - check out his Wikipedia page and reviews for Associa - not those on Associa page lmao but independent...
The public is dumb and greedy... In Hawaii, there are so many remote owners who run illegal vacation rentals and do NOT care at all about maintenance of the buildings etc they just collect the huge amounts of money for rent and let the property manager and Board do whatever they want... MEANWHILE: locals have nowhere to live, there is a HUGE housing shortage, rents are super high, and monthly dues that every apartment/town house pays into the building common funds is about $1500 per month or more. In other words - you cannot own your condo - say your mortgage is $3000, plus $1500 for monthly HOA dues, plus insurance, plus taxes - the only way to own is to illegally vacation rental it bc locals cannot pay rent of $5000 per month . Recently, illegal vacation rentals were curbed, not out of care for the ppl, but bc HOTELS started losing business lmao so they pushed to reduce illegal vacation rentals.... But it still happens a lot.
So a Board that closes their eyes to any illegal vacation rentals in the building is always voted for. Also, I personally heard stories of ppl who hired local gangs to go and threaten Board members and property managers who were honest and tried to report illegal vacation rentals...
So just like in this drama, there are HUGE fights and LOTS OF CHEATING to have "their" people elected on the Board, bc the Board has 100% authority to disperse common funds of an association. This drama is making plot based on that.
One of the most fun parts is that there are "public figures and groups" out there to supposedly help homeowners but .... they seem to be just a very suave way to keep the homeowners scared and silenced, and also to monitor what ppl are doing, as many members of such groups are actually attorneys and other employees/invested in the financial scams that the group is supposedly trying to expose, stop and prevent.... .
**** So this is a GOLD MINE OF TOPICS for dramas and movies **** and I will be glad to help. I have tons of evidence that I collected over the years
Ah this drama is addressing some real-life issues that are EPIDEMIC in the USA... actually something exactly like this happened to several ppl I know in the USA...
In real life in the USA, there will be no protection for the building there Ji Sung and his "family" steal the money. Police and attorney general and prosecutors will NOT accept any complaints bc it is a civil case .... So the only way for homeowners to try to get their money back is to SUE in the civil court - and pay out of pocket for that. But the Judges are corrupt. So you get the idea?
In the USA, stealing from homeowners associations is a perfect crime and homeowners are used as cash cows FOREVER.
So that is why this fight to be on the Board is so intense, bc the Board has 100% authority to disperse common funds of the association.
there is an epidemics of that in the USA - stealing homes and extorting and stealing money by Boards, property management company and their attorneys and corrupt judges and arbitrators... using homeowners as cash cows...
**** Financial and other frauds with common funds of homeowners associations is a GOLD MINE OF TOPICS for dramas and movies **** I will be glad to help. I have tons of evidence that I collected over the years and I already wrote draft books about this.
In the spoiler is a quick report on what is going on in the USA and future dramas and movies should use this GOLD MINE FOR NEW SCRIPTS

**** So this is a GOLD MINE OF TOPICS for dramas and movies **** and I will be glad to help. I have tons of evidence that I collected over the years
With all due respect, I disagree with all points but the last 2 - in fact, I think your points 1-4 made the drama…
Gees I never said that no stupidity is allowed. Bad decisions create drama. But the point is not to focus on THAT. The point is to focus on OVERCOMING that, and for that, the characters have to LEARN. There is no learning in this drama.
The problem with this drama is that it is equally stupid from ep 1 to ep 128. There should have been improvement
A good recipe for drama is: 1/4 for the original stupid/bad setup, 1/4 to overcome and get together initially, 1/4 to overcome additional problems that arise from solving the original problem and getting together, and 1/4 of executing success. for example: 1/4 for HY wrecking chaos to naive Dumb Mi and her family, 1/4 for DumbMi to get smarter and get together with BH etc and start fighting, 1/4 of fights HY gang versus Ma/Mi/BH gang for real, and 1/4 of Ma/Mi/BH gang taking HY down.
***** IT IS EPISODE 128? and Chairman has no bodyguard or cameras .... etc etc etc that kind of stuff is just not OK for the last 2 weeks of the drama. DO YOU GET IT NOW? *****
Not to mention deeper stuff - have you EVER heard DumbMi self reflect? or BH and JM talk about anything but how they gonna catch HY? etc etc etc This drama is FLAT LIKE A PANCAKE. it is so shallow!!!!
FYI no drama can be made if there are no problems, every single story must start with a problem to solve, and then show failed attempts at solving it, otherwise there is no story, there is no VICTORY. And the only way to truly solve any problem is INNER CHANGE and also cooperation with other people. THE POINT OF HAVING THE STORY IS TO OVERCOME THE PROBLEM if the ppl dont struggle to change to overcome the problem, if ppl stay the same, if ppl dont clear things between them, if ppl dont reach a higher level, that is absolutely NOT worthy of a story, it is just yet another casualty to be tossed out as a failed experiment.
Practically all American movies portray such casualties (OR magical overnight "success" by magical intervention of something mysterious or someone rich lmao like they win a lottery lmao NO EFFORT). For such "stories" without any struggle or with meaningless/useless struggles that lead nowhere, i.e. spinning the wheels in the same place - Sure it is good to know what did NOT work and sure it is good to know that there are ppl out there who do NOTHING to help themselves or feel powerless to help themselves, we can and should learn on mistakes of others, HOWEVER
**** it is a waste of time to spend a whole movie of drama on just failed experiments and hopeless cases. In this case, 70 hours of bologney. Life is too short, who has the time for that????
if it is going to be a good drama or movie, there has to be some failed experiments, learning from them, character growth and progress, until finally the problem is resolved/transformed
and IT HASNT HAPPENED HERE
the writer is completely incompetent to create a story
and from bad story comes bad acting. Very skilled actors like Professor and his Wife can make their role a little more rich and convincing and fun, but ultimately they are limited by the script and so that is the bottom line. Even good actors cannot revive a dead script. And when you add to that a bad actor like JH actor, then you really get something DEAD.
This drama is STALE, that is its main problem. It starts as Stupidville and stays Stupidville to the very end, CHARACTERS STAY THE SAME plot stays the same stuff just in different forms.
chloe for some reason became my most annoying person in the drama ...... this needs to be change soon .......ok…
Chloe is a liar, and she is so flat shallow, her mind running on revenge, she is like a ZOMBIE, like ROBOT programmed on only one task. She is despicable. Destroying people, manipulating people, doing illegal things, just so that she would ... what? kill Chairman? how will that help? Steal Adelle - ? wow is that a revenge or just sheer greed....
In other words, CHLOE HAS TURNED EXACTLY INTO THAT WHICH SHE IS FIGHTING, so she is yet another monster and so her role is super boring.
Ah now we know that Chorung already had OldestBrother on her agenda... ? Interesting... :)
And flakey G - is still not thinking about staying in Korea.. ? WHY was he so scared? He lost his mom, he lost his dad, ... so is he scared he is gonna lose EA too? Makes sense
Mr and Ms Satan are not killers though, they barely have the guts to go looking into a safe, but ... how did G's dad die?
The nice sophisticated thing about this drama is that it doesnt have serial killers in main roles lmao and doesnt have murders, which is refreshing, finally something "ordinary" and WATCHABLE. There is just financial and other scamming and frauds, which is bound to happen around a big company / rich ppl
I LOVE that this drama does not depend on some super complicated, ridiculous and/or bloody plots, but on RICH DETAILS from daily life. It is light in some ways, serious in other ways, and very warm and DEEP. We get to watch people growing and changing. It is truly masterful script and acting. Such a pleasure to watch this.
The writers have really painted Min Ho into a corner and have left no room for any character growth. How can he…
I was thinking similar to @joetoeca - OldestBrother and Chorung go together, and SR stays alone - and from there I spun this plot:
I dont think EA will follow G to NYC. She belongs in Korea. So ... the flakey G is gonna leave on his own and then have regrets later and come crawling back.
SR follows G to NYC, he helps her settle but does not date her of course, and then... he goes back to Korea to EA and SR stays alone in NYC lmao which gives her a chance to get an MBA and kinda grow up and even try dates
SR needs to live without MH for a while so that she can learn to appreciate him
Meanwhile MH finds another date - someone new and peppy - and gets rather happy - and has a growing period where he becomes an adult finally. He needs to live away from SR for a while and hang out with a "normal" woman who will not tolerate his tantrums and who will love him freely, so that he can stop being spoiled cruel brat on one hand, and a total doormat on the other hand.
and SR realizes she cannot find anyone, so she rushes to kiss as@ of MH to take her back - and after MANY episodes of her really realy really trying.. MH might consent I dont think it is boring that SR chases MH :) I think it should be HILARIOUS - he should try everything she did to him, just to teach her some lessons. She really took him for granted for too long
Meanwhile Bunny and Lion have zillion kids and live happily ever after
I wasted 2 hrs to watch this, plus 2 hrs to come back from puking after watching all the violence, bc I wanted to see WHY it is so popular and really .... I wasted the time watching scenes from hell. The movie has no content, only fights and blood baths, and yeah a tiny bit of love between ppl. But 98% of this movie is just GORY VIOLENCE.
It was grueling to watch this drama bc it is just a blood bath and torture. And I already knew what all that stuff happens and I did not really want to SEE HOW EXACTLY IT HAPPENS, however, the time is not entirely wasted, at least the movie deepened my knowledge, like the grandma who sets ppl up to be kidnapped, using kids for eyes, using kids to deliver drugs, make drugs, cash credit cards, etc So now I am armed with more knowledge to WARN PPL to stay away from what is shown in this movie. And a lot more protective of children. It is terrifying what happens if a child goes missing. Also, if their parent is incapable and/or missing.
Via this drama we people from the brighter side of the life got to see what happens in bad neighborhoods, in poverty, and in night life, and the message is clear - STAY AWAY FROM THAT.
But the message is even deeper - this is a SOCIAL COMMENTARY OF WHAT WE CREATED AS A SOCIETY.
The value of this movie is a social commentary of what happens with the poor, and what it means to use drugs and to go to clubs.... . THE MOVIE SHOULD SCARE EVERY CHILD TEENAGER ADULT AND PARENT TO STAY AWAY FROM DRUGS AND CLUBS AND POVERTY AND BAD NEIGHBORHOODS bc if you dont , then you get sucked into this kind of world, which exists bc of the rotten and selfish nature of our societies.
Well ... this movie is supposedly a super good movie but ... it is ... trashy FLASHY shocking. It is just shocking the audience instead of teaching anything. The main actor is behind all that hair and basically does NOT act... for second half, he cuts his hair but always - he is more or less poker faced... and his acting is fake so many times while poker faced... it is clear he knows he is faking it.... The only real acting scene was the very last one when he says bye to the little girl - he can SMILE for real, and that is natural to him... and then the emotion and crying - that was real acting ..... and the rest of the movie was almost all fake.
And we never see him work out stuff emotionally inside him, it is about revenge and finding his friend... ok but ... that's not it. That is what american movies do.
But he looks like a skinny fashion model... And ... plastic surgery lips? Is this the start of that ugly trend....??? at least back then he was not pale. Now actors look like white ghosts.
Well - the movie does teach something - avoid clubs, drugs, etc :) The message is good, that a man would do anything to save someone but the plot etc is just ... all "special effects" without real content. Like an american movie, lots of fights and gangs and low life, shocking the audience with what really happens in the crime world. But in terms of PLOT as CONTENT as character growth etc and in terms of what kdramas are really for - good instructions for daily life for ordinary ppl - well... this fails. It is just a SHOCKER an american movie made in Korea, with a super skinny actor, everything a copy of american style, really . Even the music was in English and western style.
so why is this actor so famous and why is this movie one of the best... is still unknown. Is it bc he kinda popularized western style... ?
ha the younger brother is the infamous Won Bin... ??? well... based on the hype, I expected so much more... lmao I am not totally impressed. Well then I will watch his best movie The Man From Nowhere and see for myself why he is so famous. -- well - in that movie he has hair all over his face so you cannot even see him lmao and the acting is minimal. he is sooooo skinny and looks ... like a model. Perhaps later in the movie we can SEE him acting lol In that drama, the little girl is THE actor. Amazing acting by a child actor So funny how that actor captured everyone. I still have to find out WHY. So far - no evidence.
wow.I have been regularly watching kdramas for 6 yrs now but this is the first time I hear the name Won Bin lmao Ok..... there is lots more to learn :)
I will be glad to help. I have tons of evidence that I collected over the years and I already wrote draft books about this.
The scams with non-judicial and judicial foreclosures on apartments and town homes, anything that has COMMON FUNDS, are super common.
The end of John Oliver's video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrizmAo17Os shows the realistic tricks the people on the Board of homeowners associations use to steal money -
This drama has the Board take money once and leave, but many Boards just stay and keep taking funds over years and decades...
Boards, property management companies and their attorneys use homeowners as cash cows. Bc the Board can sue using common funds and owner has to defend with their own money... and property management companies have a well oiled path to keep homeowners under their thumb - lawyers who work for them and have connections into judicial and government systems.
So... the future dramas and movies should look into those scams and make some cool movies and dramas...
==================
NOW I AM GOING TO PROVIDE SOME EXAMPLES BUT THIS IS NOT TO BE USED FOR LEARNING HOW TO CHEAT, AS I FOUND MOST PPL USE THIS EVIDENCE..
THE EXAMPLES HERE ARE TO SHOW THE PUBLIC THAT THERE IS ESSENTIALLY CRIME GOING ON AND TO STOP IT
as for dramas and movies, these are great ideas for scripts.
Two most common ways:
1. fining owners for ridiculous petty stuff, handing the case over to attorneys, who rack up HUGE attorney bills and then just take the apartment / town home without any judicial intervention to pay those bills.
2. they sue owners for ridiculous stuff and use corrupt judges to rule them huge attorney fees. To collect that, the homeowners association then forecloses on the property - and buys the property for nothing
SINCE THEY GET THE PROPERTY FOR NOTHING, THERE IS ALWAYS MONEY STILL LEFT TO PAY, SO they SEIZE ALL OTHER ASSETS OF THAT OWNER
So from a totally bogus fake false lawsuit, you can generate profit of seizing several condos worth $1.2 mlllion. I have all evidence for a case like that.
One case in Colorado against a disabled single woman homeowner - the attorney just issued her an order that her private land belongs to a HOA and then they took the house for attorney fees.
One case in Hawaii - Varta vs PMK - $150 house rules fine for having a dog turned into $50K attorney fees and condo taken
The 2016 Brown at al vs PMK and another law firm for non-judicially foreclosing on I think 70 condos in 7 building, 70 ppl lost their homes... THIS WAS TOTALLY KEPT OUT OF NEWS IN HAWAII...
The fun part is that many such attorneys and judges own private companies related to real estate and its stocks... very often those companies are under their family
The fun part is that insurance cooperates with such judges and attorneys to condemn the homeowner, so that insurance does not have to pay
Appellate Court is THE bottleneck because the lower courts CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT if they have a buddy at the appellate level who will deny all appeals against the lower courts :)
Appellate judges then get promoted to the Supreme Court, and there is nobody above it...
Hawaii is similar to Japan, it is an island where "everyone knows everyone"
Also, the court system is dominated by Japanese, as they immigrated to Oahu in huge numbers in 1970s and bought the downtown Honoluly land and put skyscrapers and apartment buildings, making Oahu super urban congested
Now there are brand new "towns" of Hawaii Kai, Kapolei, etc. all town homes and apartment buildings :) Hawaii has 1200 apartment buildings.
SO IN SHORT:
having all that "common funds" for a building is an open invitation to abuse -
**** Hawaii especially island of Oahu and the South East of the USA are notorious for corruption and stealing property.
I have tons of evidence that I collected over the years
In real life in the USA, there will be no protection for the building there Ji Sung and his "family" steal the money.
**** Financial and other frauds with common funds of homeowners associations is a GOLD MINE OF TOPICS for dramas and movies ****
I will be glad to help. I have tons of evidence that I collected over the years and I already wrote draft books about this.
In the spoiler is a quick report on what is going on in the USA and future dramas and movies should use this GOLD MINE FOR NEW SCRIPTS
==================

**** So this is a GOLD MINE OF TOPICS for dramas and movies **** and I will be glad to help. I have tons of evidence that I collected over the years
The problem with this drama is that it is equally stupid from ep 1 to ep 128.
THE POINT OF HAVING THE STORY IS TO OVERCOME THE PROBLEM
if the ppl dont struggle to change to overcome the problem, if ppl stay the same, if ppl dont clear things between them, if ppl dont reach a higher level, that is absolutely NOT worthy of a story, it is just yet another casualty to be tossed out as a failed experiment.
In other words, CHLOE HAS TURNED EXACTLY INTO THAT WHICH SHE IS FIGHTING, so she is yet another monster
and so her role is super boring.
MH might consent
I dont think it is boring that SR chases MH :) I think it should be HILARIOUS - he should try everything she did to him, just to teach her some lessons. She really took him for granted for too long
Meanwhile Bunny and Lion have zillion kids and live happily ever after
It was grueling to watch this drama bc it is just a blood bath and torture. And I already knew what all that stuff happens and I did not really want to SEE HOW EXACTLY IT HAPPENS,
however, the time is not entirely wasted, at least the movie deepened my knowledge, like the grandma who sets ppl up to be kidnapped, using kids for eyes, using kids to deliver drugs, make drugs, cash credit cards, etc So now I am armed with more knowledge to WARN PPL to stay away from what is shown in this movie.
The value of this movie is a social commentary of what happens with the poor, and what it means to use drugs and to go to clubs.... .
THE MOVIE SHOULD SCARE EVERY CHILD TEENAGER ADULT AND PARENT TO STAY AWAY FROM DRUGS AND CLUBS AND POVERTY AND BAD NEIGHBORHOODS
bc if you dont , then you get sucked into this kind of world, which exists bc of the rotten and selfish nature of our societies.
Well - the movie does teach something - avoid clubs, drugs, etc :)
The message is good, that a man would do anything to save someone
but the plot etc is just ... all "special effects" without real content. Like an american movie, lots of fights and gangs and low life, shocking the audience with what really happens in the crime world.
But in terms of PLOT as CONTENT as character growth etc
and in terms of what kdramas are really for - good instructions for daily life for ordinary ppl -
well... this fails.
It is just a SHOCKER
an american movie made in Korea, with a super skinny actor, everything a copy of american style, really . Even the music was in English and western style.
so why is this actor so famous and why is this movie one of the best... is still unknown. Is it bc he kinda popularized western style... ?
Well then I will watch his best movie The Man From Nowhere and see for myself why he is so famous. -- well - in that movie he has hair all over his face so you cannot even see him lmao and the acting is minimal. he is sooooo skinny and looks ... like a model. Perhaps later in the movie we can SEE him acting lol In that drama, the little girl is THE actor. Amazing acting by a child actor
So funny how that actor captured everyone. I still have to find out WHY. So far - no evidence.
that could be repeated in another current kdrama
lmao Ok..... there is lots more to learn :)
Only 10 eps of So Ji Sub? Bummer
