Sure they were friends, ALso, in some cultures, you bring your friends home and it is not a big deal.

But on the scale from 0 to 10 they were friends at say 7. They collaborated and took care of each other but never were really close. They never were 100% honest. As soon as it got rough, the friendship is GONE, JH is after YR.

Their friendship depended on YR catering to JH. If that element weren't there, they wouldnt be friends. YR was JH's "satellite"

But this dude is for real, there are tons of guys like that. It is epidemic LOL So I am curious how the show will resolve it, what is their take on how this can be transformed

Oh I forgot to add: FL in Queens HOuse also indirectly caused dementia in her mother bc she caused involvement in murder for her mother and brother, and rift with her family, AND herself on the street as a homeless without a penny. FL in Queens House also was ignorantly blind clutz like that and led to death of her own son, her own father, and ML's sister. The difference is that she self reflected later. Not enough but at least tried...

JP has 3 episodes left to defrost and grow his balls to COMPLETELY rehaul himself, to COMPLETELY transform, realize he loves YR, confess, and show his love in very clear expressive ways ALL THE TIME, PERMANENTLY,

One thing that might start cracking JP THE ICEBERG is his dad - JP finally admitted to him why boxing.

But JP is soooo frozen that this might be impossible. I am afraid of his crocodile tears in trying to keep YR as his personal servant, or his f;eeting insignt that he needs YR, wihout real change and easy going back to old behaviors,

FOR JP TO TOTALLY TRANSFORM IS .... A VERY LOW PROBABILITY EVENT, Still everything is possible but ... rare things happen rarely :) and it is dumb to keep waitong for it..

Then there is STEPHEN SPEAKS, who is down to earth and honest for most part. There are details I disagree with but getnerally speaking, I fully support his views. He has lots of videos online and is an expert on defending ppl against JP-lke parasites and even worse - the guys who are "going with the flow", who never claim you or title you, never take you out in public as "his", never promise anything etc etc
It is very common and typical way of mistreating African American women (and many others) so he was tryung to help teach ppl about boundaries...

I really dislike the acting of ML actor, I think he lacks skillZ and it is obvious he is acting. It annoys me. Bc everyone else is totally into it LOL even the makkang acting scenes, like the principal, are done PERFECTLY, the principal actress skillZ are amazing :) she is totally into her role LOL knowing she is overdooing it, she makes it sooo real..
Added later: in later episodes. acting of ML actor improved. He is passable now.

So anyways, I LOVE THE CHARACTER OF ML And I cannot understand why ppl think he is annoying as nosy? he is just a protective GOOD FATHER. I love how ML script is written, he does everything properly, he is a very honest, capable, loving guy.

He is a single father and his kid is in a school where .. what ...5? teachers left in ... 2? last years..... and the teacher lives in his annex... and his son was hurt by the last teacher...

That single dad is 100% right to be suspicious of the teacher, and nosy about what the teacher is up to, and protective of his kid!!!!

That is the modus operandi of JH and it shows that she is not a real friend. When we are a real friend, we try to improve for the sake others and we DO think of others. JH keeps acting super impulsively and destructively.

This is the typical playout in mysogony / patriarchy. Women are trained to serve and men are trained to be entiled and accept and even request demand free service. And women are trained to seek favors of a man who will be "theirs" and be their ... well how to say it... "boss", someone who will be "all and everything" to them whom they will loyally and selflessly serve, in exchange for what... ? material benefis, prestige, and if they are lucky, a fre crumbs of affection. And women are trained to fight other women in this endless race to catch ONE GUY TO BE THEIR EVERYTHING.

YR did not have to stab a man to help YR, in fact, she did NOT help YR with that stabbing, she was just reckless and made YR's case a lot worse. If she really wanted to help, she should THINK about consequences to her friend.

YR could not confess knowing that JP liked and chose JH. THat is no brainer.
Later, when JH was gone for liek a year, YR should have been smart and said - hey JP do dyou stil like JH? And if he said no, then she could say - how about me then? And if he said no, then DITCH HIM. He did nothing special that ties him to her.

So JP is throwing YR under the bus, and JH is happy to run with the spoiler.

YR was servant to her mother, brother, JH, JP, ... , all her life, and she needs to stand up and step up into a future that doesnt cater to anyone but herself. Sure she can help - when she wants to and when it is right, not by default, and not by throwing HER life away and by treating herself as a doormat to make other's happy,

At the root of this is YR's sexist mother who treated YR as a servant and a cash cow and sacrificed YR so that her BROTHER can get education.

YR is a victim of mysogony, of a sexist society, of greed and egotism that makes is legitimate to use women as servants, WHERE WOMEN USE OTHER WOMEN bc it is ok to use women.

JH suffers fron that too, consenting to "be" whatever her "mom" wants. JH also has no problem abusing YR.

This is super toxic and super realistic, as you can see how many ppl have very murky and toxic ideas of boundaries

IF the ancient iceberg JP manages to defrost and melt in the next 2 episodes ... then yes.
IF the lazy ignorant greedy slimey caterpillar JP manages to do do all the hard inner work and TRANSFORM into a butterfly,..... then yes.
IF the spoiled brat prince JP manages to get off his sweet sensitive as@ and be willing to be hurt, to give, to be vulnerable, TO BE HONEST, TO FEEL, TO EXPRESS HIS FEELINGS, TO COMMUNICATE,... then yes.

That is a very very very big IF. a huge an almost impossible IF.
JP is comfortably sitting on his throne as the ICE KING who is very kind to his servant YR. I dont see a way his frozen heart will melt in just 2 episodes. But it is possible. Divine Power is almighty and performs miracles.. But it is going to take YEARS for JP to process that and become human.
