JP should have confessed to YR if his feelings really changed.

Back then, Everyone knew he liked JH.... so YR had to keep her mouth shut for a while about her love for him. He was legit - he liked JH, and YR did not confess.
But by that 4-some picnic, everyone knew that YR loved JP.
SHE ALREADY SHOWED HER LOVE AND EVERYONE KNEW THAT SHE LOVED JP

AFTER 7 YEARS EVERYONE SCOLDED HIM FOR KEEPING HER ON WITH A CARROT ON THE STICK. If he truly loved her, JP would have confessed to her first and would have pursued her. He cannot be acting a snowflake broken for 7 years from his first love. What a bologney to treat an adult man as if he were a fragile piece of glass and to walk on eggshells around him for years and years!!!!.

Just a quick test: if YR was dragging JP like he dragged her, would you accept it as normal?

YR should have NOT let JP drag it that much. After a while, say a year or two at most, she should have nailed him down to come out and admit if he likes JH still. She should have skillfully done that so that her heart doesnt get crushed out.

If he said I dont like JH anymore, THEN she could safely confess. If he said I dont like you, then she should have moved on.

No other solution is suitable bc it would have crushed YR's heart.

So it is YR's immaturity and YR's fault that she let him tease her for 7 years and never committed himself in spite of all her efforts and genuine care for him.

I dont think JP caught real feelings for YR. He is treating her as a side chick. If he had TRUE feelings, he would behave like he did with JH - he would have asked YR out on dates and would have been ah so charming to woo her. He never ever did that with YR.
I am not buying the theory that his heart was crushed with his first love JH and he is still nursing his wounds, 7 years later. Heck what kind of thin glass is he made out of?
YR at first could not open her mouth to confess, bc it was clear he liked JH.
But then later when JP was just dragging a carrot in front of her for years, she should have opened her mouth and said - HEY, HOW ABOUT JH DO YOU STILL LIKE HER? If he said no, then she should ahve said - DO YOU LIKE ME? I LIKE YOU. And then move on if he didnt respond with the utmost enthusiasm.

A real adult speaks their mind, a real man will pursue the woman he is interested in, and JP is not doing anything. Yeah help her with the foot or carry her home, sure, but he does it with as much enthusiasm as for helpinga younger sister. Bad bad bad signs....

Pfsk a man has first love and his heart is broken for 7 years and that justifies him being bland to another girl for 7 years, while she dotes on him like a loving servant.... Suit yourself. I suppose you date guys like that and are used to mediocrity? A guy like that is weak, immature and ABUSIVE. It is not about math and how many dates or meetings. People fall in love as soon as they meet or after 50 years "suddenly".
JP was attracted to JH, showered her with attention and she fell for it and thought of him for 7 years!!!!!! And he obviously thought of her too for 7 years...

Or for chairmna's wife whom she locked up LOL that was my first thought LOL

It is interesting isnt it, SML likes FL "mentally" he THINKS he likes her but there is no evidence whatsoever. A guy who really likes would be a lot more pursuing actively, like... JH lol JH is relentless LOL and very open about it and very sneaky if need be, but RELENTLESS, he knows what he wants and he goes for it. When in his good side, he is really fun :)

I never pay attention to previews, online descriptions, and titles, so imo SML could become ML :) but how the drama is, he never will. He lacks the chemistry with EH and she just never saw him as a man. She reacts to JH :_

Exactly that is what I was saying. I said it that she is using him as a toy that gives her pleasure, like that red car. I meant the same thing you wrote here: She's falling in love with the fact the he's fallen in love with her and she got her own PrinceCharming boytoy.
To be even more precise, she has fallen in love with HERSELF lol as someone who is so shiny and precious and showered with attention, she is infatuated with her princess image

Yes I agree JH had to say that at some ppint and it was a valid point, it is true that 2ML did that,
HOWEVER, JH CAUSED IT HIMSELF. .... when 2ML tried to talk to JH before the wedding, JH just brushed him off rudely. So JH is responsible for pushing his friend away. 2ML should not take JH's bs.

In the past, 2ML was like a pion to JH, a super caring doormat friend, and JH abused him, I never felt they were friends. Then JH pushed everyone away, did his own thing and was on his own. His choice.

Also, JH lied. 2ML came to say he is pursuing EH and JH did not say that he liked EH too. INSGTEAD, JH diverted the topic to snivel about stuff he caused himself and to make himself like a poor-me and to make 2ML feel bad and guilty. JH is trashy manipulator and control freak, really

Nah the romance here is an important part of the plot and is super funny. That hotel scene was hilarious LOL and there are so many cute and heartwarming scenes, and also character development bc of it. It is fanstastic romance

How can YR confess when she KNOWS that JP loved JH??? back then and even after 7 years... She is waiting for him to get out of it and turn to her. But he never got out of it.

Since he didn't, YR should have openly asked him if he still loves JH, perhaps confessed herself, and then moved on if he didnt respond instantly with enthusiasm.

YR put herself into a suffering hellish situation where she just waits for years and years and years, without asking him to come out clear

One happy ending is that YR might go out with AmericanLawyer and that will help JP to make up his mind LOL and start getting serious about how he feels and acting on it. But maybe not. Maybe JP will always be the impotent family friend.

Good luck in your own life if you cannot see how JP used YR. You will be a victim to sexism if you think that a man like JP did not do anything wrong.
