JH liked JP a lot and vice versa and then JH never said a word to YR - but still liked JP - and JP was kinda letting YR take care of him while he was thinking of JH for 7 years.... and YR.... never said a word to anyone and just dutifully doted on JP for 7 years hoping he would forget JH one day...

Yeah I agree with you, on everything but the fact that she is falling in love with ML. I dont think she is. I think she fell in love with him not as a person but as a toy, like that red car. I dont think he is "someone" to her and I dont think she cares for how he feels. She did ask him if he liked her and so she is going along with it, but to me, she behaves like a prostitute in a brothel - he said he liked the goods so she is gleefuly grabbing his money without any feeling whatsoever for HIM.

I started watching this bc there was nothing else to watch and I found that it is worth watching just for their acting. The story is kinda all over the place and always with a rosey happy end, and there is no character development whatsoever, only various actions, so that's boring. But their acting and the comedic twists like today's love interest are hilarious

JP and JH really liked each other and still think of each other, 7 years later. JP was free to love whoever he wanted, YR never confessed bc she saw that JP loves JH. So, JP in the past is clean, he owes nothing to noone. In fact he is a victim who was brutally dimped without explanation.
But then the recent JP is a jerk who used YR liking him for 7 years for his comfort and convenience. YR is immature to wait for such a jerk to keep doting on him and depend on his crums of attention... yeah he is nice to her for most part but without ANY enthusiasm and then he makes tons of jokes and teases her to glorify HIMSELF, his good looks and his underwear... . and JH is immature jealous and actually ... mean to hide her feelings about JP from YR for all those years. Even the diary does not mention JP. But her feelings when she saw JP...
So imo this drama is NOT a story of friendship but a story of TOXIC friendships that led to varuous murky feelings suffering and disasters.
