It is the relationship between James and FL and their inner conflict. Also this is gray area - she is thinking she is protecting her family - but is it ok to destroy others to protect your family? We see how the thin veneer of seeming sanity is just falling apart as FL turns into a devil. So any one of us nice people in her situation would .... do what?

Imo this is already a romance. They way they were on that sofa/floor at the end of ep 5, was ... well... very intimate and I was starting to wonder if he will lean down and kiss. A few more minutes of that scene and that would have been the only way to proceed..... I think those two are hitched already. He thinks he wants her as a dog, but.... I think he needs her. And she got so much livelier bc of him. But her daughter likes him so this is a tricky situation

ML has majorly bad karma, he sold drugs for too long... he harmed sooo many ppl.... so ....

I think FL and James are starting to hit it as lovers and I think they need to run away as a family BUT FL's daughter has a crush on him. That's not good... So that tells me maybe they wont live as a family

And FL's mom ... she was so grumpy and awful, I didnt connect the dots that it is the same actress as the lost Sister from Once Again, who was one of my fav female characters in kdramas ever... but here she has a different vibe, different character, and I didnt recognize her LOL That is one awesomely skilled amazing actress!!!!! Like a chameleon, becomes who she is acting

Jae Pil irritiates me as waste of a handsome guy in good shape. yeah he is handsome, he is honest, he is stable, and all that but HE IS DEAD. His charm is zero... He is barely moving, barely talking, barely living. He is just sooooo unfit as a partner. He is not putting any effort to make YR happy and to enjoy their time together. Everything seems to be about HIM rather than cherishing her, showering her with his affection, enjoying his precious time with her. Yeah yeah he brought medicine, gave her a ride, etc but it is all.... bland bland bland like he brought his elderly aunt to a tea party bc he had to.... He came to her work and haircut to bring her to help his dad... When did he do something JUST FOR HER TO MAKE HER HAPPY? Or for himself out of longing for her, just to enjoy just one minute with her?

he has no longing whatsoever... His vibe is "medical doctor", "an obedient kid taking his aunt around" and "impotent elderly guy with his elderly friend from the senior home". JP looks like a healthy hot stud guy but there is absolutely no indication that he is male. He is zipped up bottled up and with the tight cap on. Bland stale boring uninterested. Yeah he will make a good medical surgeon but ... is he alive? What is the temperature of his heart? DOES he feel????

I am just ready to grab a cane and get him off the stage. He is unfit to be on the stage as her darling. He is NOT a darling but a leech, depending on her attention but never giving back to her. I want to see HIS eyes dropping honey FOR HER and I want to see HIS smile all FOR HER. He is inadequate so far!!!!

I want JP actor to step up his game. He can interpret JP in many ways and he is chosing to interpret JP as John Wayne and as we know that is 1000000% BORING. I suggest the JP actor liven up his frozen boring interpretation of JP.

A guy has to be charming and swoop his lady off her feet, and JP just ... is NOT.
JP is a strong silent type, ok, that is ok, there are strong and silent good guys and YR likes him, and a strong and silent type CAN be charming, like Tempest ML was, but ...

Jae Pil is too much strong and silent type, He is the DEAD type. I dont feel anything from him,. That actor needs to pump it up a little bit, his character is half dead. he is not even fun to watch. there is ZERO charm. He is not even trying. I think JP needs to go take some lessons from the ML from Tempest - a strong silent type who was hot caring loving doting selflessly sacrificing partner, ready to kiss, ready to protect her, ready to talk with her, share with her, tell her how special she is, and at the end ... yeah die for her.... So JP baby, grow up!!!! LEARN TO SMILE AND SAY I LOVE YOU.

And YR goes back to 12 yrs old with him. He makes her feel so insecure and small and anxious.

So I am NOT giving YR to JP to trash her like that and kill her self esteem and her happiness.
I mean even basic stuff - there he is holding her foot in a mini skirt and I am not feeling anything from him that says - wow this chick is hot, I want to come closer! He is not even curious!!! He does not seem to have real manly feelings for her, where he considers her a woman and his eqal partner. She feels like an elderly companion to him. Heck no to that. YR YOU CAN DO BETTER!!!! PICK A HOT GUY TO OPENLY CHERISH YOU FOREVER!

He should have showed up at that date with a flower for her and should have put her arm under his, or something like that, and walked in... He should have told her in no uncretain terms that she is beautiful. he should have LOOKED at her and SMILED... . He doesnt even want to touch her. He is not even curious about her. I say - JP is impotent and out with him. It is like he took his hairdresser and father's nurse out to some place where he needed a date so he wouldn't pay. Heck no!!!!!

The USA guy is not it either, calling her Ugly means he is not serious.

I think the Bon Apettit ML became so famous because he was so VIBRANT in his role. He was just exuding energy and radiance. He was fully in it. I wish that JP actor wakes up from his comatose state and exude some vibrancy. Another grumpy jerk who turned super charming is ML in Our Golden Days. That is a good lesson how to act charming too.

A strong and silent guy does not mean a dead comatose guy!!!!! It does not mean a selfish leechy guy who is in it for himself!!! How he complimented her for the haircut said everything about their relationships - he was adminring how handsome HE was. Heck dude, go home and spend time looking in the mirror if you enjoy yourself so much!!!

What he SHOULD have said is something like - looking her in the eye - omg you have such a beautiful touch it is always great to receive your haircut, you are the best, I am so glad to be here with you. I AM SO GLAD TO BE HERE WITH YOU. THe dude speaks Korean and CAN open his mouth and say it.

So ... imo ... the YR JP ship is not ready to sail... the ship got some major holes and needs repairs if it will ever sail... They are not ready yet. He has to step up his game and behave as a man, a lover, a man in love, to show her his tenderness, love and care, his warm deep hot feelings for her, and to BE there for her, instead of using her as a comfortable companion and babysitter who showers him with attention. She is not his mommy. He gotta GIVE to her. He gotta COURT her and show his stuff.

He is just a zipped up cold fish. So dead!!!!!! Get out, dude!!! DEFROST!!!!. Be a MAN! Show some feelings! The two of them behave like a couple in their 70s where she takes care of him, and they are comfortable with each other. Heck no to that, I want YR to be happy.

JP needs to make YR happy, to make her feel loved and cherished, not to just hang out so that she can be nice to him. Heck no to such a leech. Get a life, JP. Become someone who is going to get YR off her feet and feel like she is the most special most precious happiest woman in the world.

One thing, the MrQueenML definitely likes YR a lot :) BUt he still calls her Ugly so there is no way it is going to get anywhere. He somehow doesnt beleive he can have her. Like his cheabol life is not for her. He likes her but not enough to take her home.
