Bc it is amazingly good :) KBS has weekend dramas that were below par and then ... got Iron Family, which was great - Mr. Queen's King was ML and he is a comedian like nobody else - and FL was soooo cute and realistic as a blind person -
but many ppl do not like watching poverty and handicapped people :( LET US BE HONEST HERE..... that is the only reason why they didnt watch it.... They want to watch some suave cheabols killing each other....
then Eagle Brothers which was middle class BLAH BLAH BLAH great for impotent older ppl it was sooooo policically correct it was without any flavor or content - soooo shallow and articifical - but it never offended or upset anyome LOL except me LOL I was going to send art police to that drama - it was so ... empty!!!! stuck in the same scene for 50 episodes.... ah it was so boring!!!! - although it started promising... I wasl like... well this suc@s, but ok for the first 20 episodes ok they are just setting the scene - but it stayed that same scene for all 50 episodes!!!! nobody changed, nobody grew, it was the same stuff for all 50 episodes... omg. Well except the villain - the serial killer father from Flower of Evil, what an amazing actor - and a new actor who came from the modeling world. The rest of them just bsed through the drama. That supposedly fancy famous FL actress was one of the worst bser actress I have ever seen, she just cannot act and her personal feelings kept interfering, that is how it felt to me. It was a disaster. BUT IT WAS POLITICALLY CORRECT, SHE WAS CUTE, AND SO ... impotent ppl loved her role.

and now THIS. THis is a great phenomenal modern drama about real people from real life. I totally love it. And it has very good acting too and really fun characters.
AND IT IS SO REAL, IT HITS HOME FOR MANY PPL. THIS DRAMA APPLIES TO SO MANY PPL IN DAILY LIFE.
Kdramas are experts on that. and this one really hit the spot. It is not about some fancy kings, cheabols, or assassins, it is about the very basic CLASH between working men and working women, and women trying to make it in the world, and men having to take off the lid on their iron clad armor and BREATHE a little.

This drama is a powerful powerful social commentary

and yeah fun too :)

The young actors are so energetic and really really really fun
I love softie 2ML and ML's spoiled brat materialistic sister, and the vibrant Driver and scaredycat MommaGirl. They are AMAZING

and applicable :) to so many ppl

I am NOT going to open my mouth here :) Suffice to say, it is therapeutic to watch something that can reveal more of your own inner world to yourself. And to feel the words behind what is said, to feel what is not said. JH loved EH for a very very long time, he just never admitted it :)

LOL he always loved her, just didnt admit it. he kept a very tight lid on himself.... Now ... his clad iron armor started to crack and what is inside him is starting to be revealed :)

but in fact he is very dangerous bc he breaks hearts bc he is so clueless. A typical "normal" male

and so it is fun to see how the script writer picked ONE out of millions of that sort who will actually EVOLVE beyond his stupid shell :) This one might hatch!!!! so it is fun to watch. Like a fantasy come true LOL

This is quite rare. Most dudes like this are never gonna make it.
This one was lucky to have EH who challenged him and never gave up on HERSELF.

Are there new episodes this weekend? It is Chuesok holiday (I hope I spelled it correctly) so most shows are cancelled, seems like. KBS2 World page shows that Ep 12 and 13 are showing today....

Long dramas are the only way to show character development, in many ppl.... And 50 ep addresses intergenerational and family issues...

There are plenty ways to get enough protein. Half of India, Asia, Africa, and many other places are doing it just fine :) It is harder in a cold climate though :) Many Western vegetarians are not quite nourished bc it is hard work to keep paying attention to eat right :)

For example, she is happy that some guy who loves her cooks for her and that she will marry him and have money... But - how about his feelings? She is treating him like a toy at her disposal. How about her feelings for him? She is marrying to have fun for herself, and she is dragging this person down that road without ANY feeling for him or his life or his business, only with the feeling of delight to be able to play with it, just like he used that red sports car.
Also, her delusion is ... so... slippery, First she said - oh just a week, then oh just a month, then i will deal with it when she comes back, then i hope she doesnt come back, then saying that to her brother and mother.... !!!! the next thing, when she gets some money, she is gonna kill RealYC.

It just struck me how naive, ignorant, delusional and selfish FakeYC is..... and how harmful she is to others... She is treating the chaebol families like they are toys that she can play with, not people with hearts and lives and busineses... At least three of them were nice to her and showed genuine love and care, and she DID acknowledge that, but she is gonna drag them down too and she doesnt care. I loooved ep 10. Ha Neul actor is acting so well a good guy, a cute smiley good guy, he is really charming. And he has nice white teeth. I love that. Being from Hawaii... if teeth dont flash in a smile, then .... it aint' complete :)
And the twist with FL's family is hilariously funny U-turn LOL I love it

So I wonder WHY is Ha Neul still with his mother when he believes that she ... ?

I am confused now though.... bc Beast in ep 2 said she killer RealYC's father... and at the end of ep 9 she accused FLdad of killing HaNeul's father and ... shje knew it was FL's dad..... ... So ... is she a Mantis killing all her husbands? Or she collaboratoed with the SickeninglySweetChairman?
