I mean british series are usually 6 episodes it should be actually eaiser to do
Have british series become global hits? No. Can they be deep in 6 episodes? Maybe. A movie can be deep in 1.5 hrs Can they be detailed and complex in 6 episodes? No. Can they address stories and relationships of MANY people, and possibly over a long period of time, in 6 episodes? No.
I am gonna be blunt here and address the pink elephant in the room, all the wannabes who wanted a top notch mystery, a great romance, AND all in 12 episodes or under ..... bc they do not have the focus to watch and observe longer. AND bc they could not figure it out until it was revealed... LOL
Young prosecutor DaddyBoy never put some big shot detectives on the case and never really investigated, per instructions of his daddy Murderer washed the murder scene really well. Police is seldom effective to begin with ... ! Lawyer FL is not a detective...
and this is a 12 ep drama about a relationship and transformation of an idol and his fan, who met bc of some random murder.
SO WHAT DO YOU EXPECT??? Some top notch Shelock holmes ??? PLUS top notch romance???? In under 12 episodes???? impossible
It is an unreasonable entitled demand
The comlainers are writing AS IF they were top notch writers who wrote 1000000000000 top notch Sherlock Holmes mysteries WITH top notch romance in like 8 episodes and it was all global hits Excuse me but the only thing I see here is major entitlement to unreasonably demand the impossible
this drama was never supposed to be a top notch mystery drama. The murder is just the pretext that brings Idol and his fan into contact and leads to their transformation.
And top of it, a typical script writer is paid like $300 or less per episode, reported Asian Boss in his youtube vide How Netflix Ruined Kdramas; and the audience does not have the focus and patience to watch carefully anyways
Funny how audience never complains about cheesy short vertical plots, ppl eat that trash like candy, and here, ppl are nitpicking as if they themselves wrote a zillion global hit plots...
The murder scene is so stupid. We all were anticipating something intelligent. I mean I am ok with who the murderer…
Omg what do you expect of government employees? Police is seldom effective. Young prosecutor never put some big shot detectives, Lawyer FL is not a detective...
and this is a 12 ep drama about a relationship and transformation of an idol and his fan, who met bc of some random murder.
SO WHAT DO YOU EXPECT??? Some top notch Shelock holmes ??? impossible
??? what is the problem there? She is his secret fan AND his lawyer, and she likes him, and he keeps hitting on her. and she never dated. OF COURSE SHE IS AWKWARD. She is next to the crush of her life, in real life, and he keeps pushing to bag her, he is cute charming and SKILLED hunter, he keeps asking her key questions which she cannot honestly answer, and figures her out instantly, and she is totally smitten and confused and barely able to keep him at bay.
ANYONE but a player would be awkward in that situation.
If she looks him in the eye or comes closer, she is toast, she wont be able to resist him and he will eat her up. She has not gone on one single date in her whole life. DONT YOU THINK IT IS NORMAL SHE FEELS AWKWARD?
Choi Hee Jin is such a great actrees, got me feeling sorry for Hye-Joo for a split second and made the most over…
Crazy ex is a common thing in life and there was not really misrepresentation of mental health issues, what was shown, happens a lot in real life. It is NOT a tired trope but COMMON EVENT IN REAL LIFE
The murder plot was poorly written. 1. Why did the police automatically assume that the earing belongs to the…
There is many ways to miss clues LOL watch Mantis to see how sloppy police is / can be ... Ex washed everything before she left the murder scene ... there was no skilled detective on this case, THE LAWYER IS NOT A DETECTIVE!!!! etc etc etc etc
The audience is astounding me with their murder plot frenzy - hey, the murder plot kept you in question for 11 episodes, you could not figure it out, and now it is not good enough bc it is a crazy ex "trope"? Heck a crazy ex or someone else crazy or just $$$$ is #1 cause anywhere any time. So ... what's the big deal??? I am not sure what ppl want - some amazing Sherlock Holmes mystery?
This drama is not about a complicated murder but about an idol and his fan and how they met and changed each other's lives. A mysterious murder is just one thing that brought them together.
Police is typically sloppy (watch Mantis... omg sloppy), that prosecutor was ... daddy's boy....and did NOT investigate anything... there was no skilled detective on this case as far as we saw!!! .... Ex wiped and cleaned everything before she left the murder scene... FL is just an attorney, not a detective...... so ... it is what it is.
This drama was NOT supposed to be a top notch mystery murder story .... in short 12 episodes... !!!!.
Fashion notes: Ough La Ik in black "pajamas" with dark coffee brown "pajama top" in ep 11 (and 10?) is ... eeek..... not good looking imo. He was wearing a lot better clothes in earlier episodes, imo, it was lighter colors. It was not flashy and I do not even remember what it was, but it was pleasing and neutral. This black-dark brown is just ugly imo. Makes him look older and more tired.
La Ik actor has eyes and acting skillZ, so he can wear pretty much anything (as long as we can see his eyes!), BUT PLEASE do not test your luck and do not put him into something hideous..
The ONE key thing that HAS to happen for LaIk actor anywhere any time is HAIR OUT OF HIS EYES. His eyes are one of his primary acting tools, so if you hide that, it is game over.
Seems like he uses the drama to advertise his modeling skillZ. When he got out of visiting Ex i jail. he walked down the corridor as if it were a runway... flicking the coat and putting his hand into a pocket.... Yeah but then use some nicer clothes and some other colors rather than black and dark brown cheap looking thing.
I loved La Ik's frizzed hair at the end of ep 11 and ep 12. That was a fun hairdo, and makes him look younger. Paired with the mariachi band jacket and then a jeans jacket made him look younger and was fun.
There were times when he pulled the hair straight up back (which older actors love to do, like various 70 yr old CEOs in various dramas), it made him look a lot older. I think the hair fell down towards the side... ? I could not figure out what exactly happened, but he looked older. Scene with drying hair where the hair is pulled back makes him look young. So what exactly makes him look old when dry hair is pulled up... I cannot figure it out :)
It can be a facial expression... For example, FL in Spring Fever had some scenes being in a nasty mood and omg she was so ugly with those negative facial expressions.
wow what drama are you watching.... ? I have sharp eyes and I see masterful acting. Lemon is great and Gumiho…
No worries I just wonder what you watch regularly so that this drama looks to you like what you described here.... Bc I really cannot see what you are describing ...
what was she in Nice to Not Meet you? I cannot remember her... her lips look like plastic surgery to me, and she…
Hm. I doubt she gets paid too much as a young manager, and she gives her money to her mother, so she is relatively poor. Her hair looks decent to me, it certainly looks washed.
She is not a glitz person in this drama and she looks like it and that's ok. She goes between office and home and that's it

I liked S lines concept too.
Tempest was crazy cheesy but exciting
ANYONE but a player would be awkward in that situation.
If she looks him in the eye or comes closer, she is toast, she wont be able to resist him and he will eat her up. She has not gone on one single date in her whole life.
DONT YOU THINK IT IS NORMAL SHE FEELS AWKWARD?
do not excuse your own lack of focus and patience

And the audience is STUPID does not have the focus, observation skills and IQ to get into a longer drama and let the story simmer with all the details
it is not a trope LOL
Her hair looks decent to me, it certainly looks washed.
