I think YR and JP will be together and my theory is based on something funny:) so, we already saw YR's dream of…
The end of ep 1 JP looks at YR and voice over says stuff that means it is two of them ended up together after a loooooong detour LOL

I agree, I think JP is just using YR for attention and care, taking her for granted, and never seeing her for who she really is - a very strong person and a very mature person

I want to know why did the writers do this to Hae Ja. What does it bring to the story? There were million ways…
you seem to be an aspiring screen writer :) but if you claim there are million ways then suggest them :) Imo the current screenwriter did it this way bc the social justice fight story was told - which taught us about the true, strong, justice-bent, caring, big-picture, caring for all, forgiving, LEADERSHIP nature of YR. **** That is super significant.**** **** That whiney voice, poor, nobody, little girl is a powerful visionary and leader, standing up for the people. *****

The significance of the bully is that she has done so much to hurt YR and her friends and yet they all stood up and fought for her, bc YR IS VERY SMART AND SEES THE BIG PICTURE, NOT JUST SMALL EGOTISTICAL GAIN OF UPPING THE BULLY.
**** YR SAW THAT ACCIDENTS LIKE THAT WILL HAPPEN TO ANY CONDUCTORS *** and she stood up for the injured bully as one of the conductors, as a part of the community.

but her husband and her friend have even better chemistry :) real chemistry, not chemical chemistry
YES! so ... he better be gone asap LOL I guess he will have to cheat her so that she gives up on him. She is too loyal out of habit and sense of duty... She probably needs a major push to come to her senses and let him go...

Yeah but calling her Ugly is not helping... he just never respected her enough...
Yes he loves her family and is very loyal. And he is good to her too. BUT he does not value her enough as a date material to step forth and say - I love you, be mine.

Well you described yourself and how you come off to me :) Telling me that Imugi is good or bad.... That is your opinion, and it is very ... hm... shallow, imo, I showed you my world view and in that world there are so many nuances you just never saw before. So if you want to take a peek into that world, you are welcome to, and if not, then you lose a chance to learn a different viewpoint from the world that has a lot more colors than yours.

I dont even know where to begin to answer you, since it seems that you are so set to nitpick for the sake of being a smart alek. WE ARE ALL MIXED.
HAVE YOU SEEN DNA TEST RESULTS? DNA TEST RESULTS SHOW WE ARE ALL MIXED OFTEN IN REALLY SURPRISING WAYS.
Your idea of "mixing" is actually offensive and racist, because it assumes that somehow ppl can be "pure" and that mixing with "bad" people will lower your value. Your post makes it very clear why Native American heritage in so many US white families is hushed hushed to secrecy - but so many "white" contemporary faces show Native American facial features.

I was talking about genes that show in our facial features. It is not about "mixed" at all in the way you are pidgenholing it. A person's genes can be from eons ago - or not. And bc certain people hate "mixed" and want "pure" so many ppl dont talk about their immediate "mix" and that is unfortunate. Yes, I see your point. Thank you for reminding me about racistm.... . And yeah Asians have their own "gradations" and racism, so some Asians are "less prestigeous" than others... So yeah maybe this actor wont like talking about his genes...

But he is beautiful, I esp. love the shape of his eyes, and he should be proud of his genes. It looks beautiful imo

I do hope so. It is time that dead weight husband leaves her life. He is just keeping her hostage to unhappiness. Her voice is DEAD. She is DEAD. Now she is waking up with this new young guy LOL

Yeah just like in elementary school... when boys pull pigtails on girls to express their admiration.... It doesnt work for adults :) His love is not deep enough and not serious enough for an adult
he doesnt love her enough to actually act on his love. So it is just wishful thinking, not love

Title A Hundred Memories Spoiler
I love how YR grew up and took care of so many things in the world and helped ppl.... it is nice that at the end…
At the end of... ? ep 1? in the theater scene, JP voice over indicates he ends up with YR but after a long detour LOL
i think from the start JP was actually more drawn to YR but she was too childish to attact his attention as a date..... JP liked the pretty face and a more grown up and sexier JH, and also JH stiid up for him in the boxing ring, she was more "adult" and openly caring for him.
Back then YR was just a whineyvoice insecure little girl..... Nothing attractive/sexy about her. And all the care she did, she was hiding.... or even failed to do - like she ran away with his medicines instead of giving them to him ...
JH already felt like a woman ready to play - she loved Aema etc But she was too... unpredictable, lying, keeping quiet, playing games.... not the right woman for JP

BUT HE DOESNT KNOW IT BC HE WANTS THAT SEXY CHICK :)
Their relationship can end only in heartbreak bc JH needs someone stable like YR's brother, someone who is totally grounded and calm and there for her.
JH can stab ppl impulsively, she can take a guy on a date and then dump him brutally, etc SHE IS TOO UNSTABLE AND TOO DANGEROUS

I love how YR grew up and took care of so many things in the world and helped ppl.... it is nice that at the end she became a pretty adult woman and very confident and capable...
JP is a typical male, he did not register his deep feelings for YR while she was so childish back then, he was drawn to a more womanly, more adult, ready to play, pretty and sexy JH.... but .... unsuitable for him. She is too unstable...
But I still dont like that jump from head-over-heals for pretty / sexy / wild JH to ... being so nice to YR? What happened? it seems like JP enjoyed attention and care from YR for 7 years and just used her and took her for granted...

Can this drama not be the stereotypical love triangle drama we always see? Please, surprise us this one time!…
ML is an entitled guy and he likes pretty and sexy and interesting, and then he feels entitled to grab it. So..... he is a typical male. Let's see if he grows up

Title Walking on Thin Ice Spoiler
In the Haunted Palace, he was not a nasty imugi. It just seemed that way at first. Later in the show, you can…
This particular actor was acting the Imugi while he was in Imugi body and he had the reputation of being nasty and he DID do many nasty things, like turn rice fields dead. OK? The fact that later he got hold of a human body and experienced love and a deep transformation and also his good deeds from the past came to light is totally irrelevant to the discussion RIGHT NOW bc it was a totally different actor and a totally different period of Imugi's inner life.

. Right now we are talking about this particular actor being good in roles that require some villain traits, from gray shady all the way to full blown villain. OK? you got it? I really dislike nitpicking for the sake of just disagreeing or being a smart alek. I like when you can hear what I said and what I did not say and what I meant, i.e. when you really listen to what I had to say.

IN fact, this particular actor made the Imugi in Imugi body character really stand out with his villainness mixed with mystery and hidden good deeds and vulnerability. He acted SUPER NASTY, he tormented and tortured FL, and kept recruting her to take over her body, he was very calcualted, greedy and selfish, and he was good to her just to save her for himself - and he tried to possess her because he respected her for purity - but he only wanted to have it for his own benefit. HE IS A VERY COMPLEX CHARACTER, WITH LOTS OF VILLAIN TRAITS bc he is so bitter and desperate and hopeless and that makes him grumpy and selfish and greedy and crude.
THIS ACTOR NAILED IT. 100000%. He made that Imugi character totally unforgettable.

So kiddo, before you get into nitty gritty of it - no, the Imugi is NOT all good. ANd he is not all bad either. But he was behaving really nasty and acting as a real jerk. real nasty dude. AND THIS ACTOR IS GREAT AT SUCH GRAY SHADY VILLANOUS FEELING ROLES

Like in this kdrama. He is not all bad but he is not all good, he is somewhere in the middle towards ... more villain side. In fact, he IS a villain, regardless of his "righteous motives" for what he is doing. He is a very confused and immature person. Just like the Imugi was - confused, wounded, and doing bad things.

To sell drugs and destroy people is evil. Just like Imugi destroying rice fields and turning fall into spring, all rice fields dead, people going hungry, then all the floods etc all the misfortunes he brough. IT IS EVIL TO DO THAT, to hurt others intentionally to hurt and destroy people even their lives.

No matter how "good" the person is underneath it, their actions are just ... EVIL.
Our Imugi was lucky that he experienced healing transformation and started inentionally developing and strenghetning and using his good side, and he permanently changed his ways, and redeemed himself and started a new life.

Another good example is the King from Bon Apettit Your Majesty - he redemeed himself after killing so many people and doing that cheonrong or however you spell it thing LOL and at the end decided to quit the throne to redeem his ways....

THERE ARE LOTS EXAMPLES OF PPL DOING BAD THINGS AND THEN TURNING AROUND

EVERYONE IS GOOD AND BAD AT THE SAME TIME SO THE ONLY QUESTION IS WHICH SIDE GIVES AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT - AND WHICH SIDE WINS MOST CONSISTENTLY

Like in this drama - that drug dealer helper was so kind and fixed the fawcett to FL etc. He CAN be so kind and good and yet he goes around killing people. He is rather nasty

Or Vincenzo - a monster who enjoyed killing and torturing people who found it amusing to also help weak people accomplish justice and decided to keep it as a side hobby - is he good or bad?

Or Tempest - the hot ML who is an admiration of both men and women for "how he is" is actually a paid assassin, killing people left and right, without a blink. Is that commandable to "be" like that... ? What in him makes him such a cold killer yet ppl think he is such a good person?

SO PLEASE GET COMFORTABLE WITH THE GRAY AREA

In any case, my point is, this particular actor is FANTASTIC in shady villanous roles.
Someone else used the words - languid, etc. It is all his forte in acting.

omg it is tiring to talk to someone who is so literal.
So you asked for it. There is my answer about the Imugi and the shady villainous zone where good and bad mix and the lines get blurry, but what decides who you are is WHAT YOU DO.
