Wow ML actor is amazing!!!! He was great for the starting comedy, he is great for the love scenes, and for the serious and grim scenes too.... I suspected at the start but after all the episoded, it is CONFIRMED. Congrats, a new star was born!

The entire drama rests on the vibrant acting of ML. There are seasoned actors on the side to help out but he is clearly the reason to watch this drama. His character is very complex and thus difficult to act - and so more interesting to watch. The script beautifully handled a rookie actor by giving him short scenes at the start, and then much longer scenes later, with his face into camera, and he handled it all so well!

The FL actress was not as radiant but she was competent to a great degree and also the script made her secondary, as someone who cooks, faints during fights and scolds /appeases the King. Her character was rather simple, Too bad. But she has less acting skill anyways and she did not improve much during the drama. ML actor improved 10000 % from say Crushology and even start of this drama and is now able to hold long complicated emotional scenes with his face into the camera
I just saw ep 10 and the scenes in the jail are awesome, FL nailed it. But then in Ep 11 when it is time to huggy the King, she cannot act love scenes.

there are 50 episode kdramas, the best are Once Again, My Father is Strange, etc.... Right Now is Our Golden Days, I like it a lot....

then there are 30 ep kdramas, like Pinnocchio... and probably 20 ep ones... AND 100 or 120 episodes dailies!!! Like Queen's House that just finished was darn good! and now A Graceful Liar looks promising! Woman Who Swallowed the Sun is ok in many ways too...

Why not? In fact, all dramas usually take intput from viewers and adjust the script. That is a well known fact. Many more heads COULD be smarter than a few at the studio.... in any case, the audience has a say as to what the audience likes or dislikes
And any creative person making this drama COULD get more ideas from the audience.

EH was in the cafe first. And she has the right to protect her broken heart and never see him again. She is dumping him now :) just like he dumped her earlier... . And, he should rent an office, he is expanding.
Also, I agree with @Padakiki that the audience here is super sexist and blaming EH for all kinds of things - she is mean, clingy, etc etc etc
She is an immature young girl who fell for a wrong guy and had her heart crushed. So she is not feeling good about that and yeah, she CAN kick him out of hersight :) Also, she is a victim of sexism and parental brainwashing and believes she has to take care of her terrible mother and her criminal brother - so she too, is prostituting for money TO GIVE TO THOSE PEOPLE WHO COULD CARE LESS ABOUT HER.

JH is immature too. His thinking he can marry for money - is stupid. He never reflected on that. But after we saw how he was treated by his family, we see he wanted to make that money for HIMSELF because he was abused all those years.

So both EH and JH exhibit severe consequences of sexism done to them. She feels like he should slave her life away for the sake of her family, and he feels like he should elbow up to grease up his own butt since he feels entitled to it and his family never provided.

We can choose to drop further discussion on this topic, or even to block each other if we really believe our values are irreconcilable.

That's why I always said that 2ML is weak and a coward, he lacks the spine to talk things through and honestly.

33 is very young :) Ppl change until they die... I am not sure if you got to watch the episodes where karma boomerang hits JH and brings him down on his knees :) He does start changing. And I am not sure why you fail to mention all the times he acts kindly and considerately? Why be so biased? Yeah JH is immature and crude but he is slooowly getting transformed
