Those two are it. Tribes and Empires gets a bad wrap because the plug got pulled on production without a proper ending. Bad budget management. I liked the show the story and almost all the actors (minus the FL). Not sure how the production value holds up all these years later. But he was incredibly sexy and intense in that role.

And I love how the Emperor, who always seems sleepy and bored, lights right up when she enters the room with her sharp tongue. Like he knows the show is about to start.
LLTG is so well written. I’m truly enjoying it. And kudos to Lusi’s agent because she just keeps knocking it out of the park.

I started this ep thinking about how Akira is attracted to Shin only at the moment so it’s perfectly fine for me that we might have 6 more episodes of character development.
I was also irritated with every girl in this show except the sister.
Crazy how 25 mins can flip one’s perspective. The fan girl and the ex are awesome.
Also, Akira is absolutely in love with Shin. I’ll point to how he has been challenged to be brave and straightforward since he met Shin, as well as how concerned he is with how Shin is always feeling.
And that moment when he passed down the Minato family blessing…..what a perfect scene. If Shin wasn’t already gone for Akira, that moment would have done it. Butterflies don’t begin to describe how that made me feel.

Home sick but this is an excellent opportunity to rewatch my favorite cdrama of all time.
Cast is so amazing. Hu Ge, Wang Kai, Leo Lu, Ding Yong Dai, Jin Dong and so so many other magnificent performances.
This is most epic story of fraternal loyalty, vengeance and enduring love. The politics and scheming will have your brain melting and the fight sequences will blow your socks off.
You’ll admire, cheer and weep for the Young Marshall and feel vindicated when Lin Shu-Gege gets his reckoning 🎶🗡🌸🦋💙🤍🖤❤️
