Damn. I slept t much of this episode thinking that this show is every bit as touching and romantic as ITSAY. Then the “this is last sight I want to see” happened and I’m just blown away.
Not sure I’ve seen better from Thailand. This is beautiful.
On tomorrow’s episode of The Sign… Will Tharn come to terms with his fear of losing the one he loves? Will Doctor do something dastardly that endangers our star crossed lovers? And most importantly…Will Phaya finally overwhelm Tharn resistance with his animal charm? Will he finally put his hands on those shapely legs and worship Tharn’s lovely body with his lips and tongue?

Yes. I wasn’t expecting a sequel and I’m really grateful to see the story continue. ALP is in my top 10 xianxia list. I’m satisfied with TLI and was super pleased with many aspects. I hope the story will continue with just a bit more effort put into the script.
For me this was a pale comparison of ALP, no hate to TLI, I still enjoyed it. The problem was with the screenplay. It slapped as mostly a petticoat drama for a big chunk of the show and let’s be honest Yin/FY was largely superficial. I was also frustrated with how gullible the good guys were and how predictable the conflict was. Also, I had trouble connecting to the ML for like forever. He seemed so bland and boring.
Now onto what I loved: some of these characters grabbed me from the start. Honqyi, Yan Shuang, the fascinating show stealer (my new obsession) XiuYan/Ao Ge, Ming Qi, even precious Karma Stone and Qing Yi. All the twerps in the Arsenal. The entire Daze Mountain sect were precious and I LOVED their resurrection. It was beautiful. Oh I cried tears of joy. The far to few time FY let Hag Aunt and Bitch Peacock really really have it were gratifying. And somehow at the end of it, Yuan Qi stole his way into my heart. We were robbed in that we got so few moments of him being cheeky, romantic and devilishly flirtatious with his love. And damn if his gallantry, nobility and heroism didn’t harken back to the absolute magic of his parents from ALP. He is his Fathers son, no doubt and his behavior was the most stunning similarity between the shows.
All in all, a fun and fairly easy ride. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I love this 3 Realms family mash up. Hope we get more with my love XY/AG or even a redemption arc for Ming Qi.
Can I please have a spin off or a stand alone project featuring the dude that played Xiu Yan as the main lead PLEASE!!!!
Lord that man had chemistry with literally everyone: Yin, FY, Karma Stone, YQ, HQ, his own brother and most especially Ming Qi. He is so beautiful I could gaze at him for hours.
