So what are we thinking? Is Choi Hwan a villain? Will he, despite himself, catch more than physical attraction for our Princess?

Is he out for revenge against the royal family for some wrong done to a female he cared about? There are times when his mask slips and quiet fury slips through. This type of motivation lines up with his ruthlessly efficient schemes, always done in defense of an injured woman.

Anyway, he’s a very compelling character. For me, the other love interests aren’t serious contenders. They are mere boys compared to Choi Hwan who is all man.

Dan Xin went out like an absolute boss.
But please can we stop casting Xuan Lu in such tragic roles??

I know there is no romance but Wu An Kang is such a sweet friend it made me want to hip him with YPA.

Watching this again for the first time since it aired & rediscovering my hardcore crush on Lu Yi in this role. Zhou Yuhao is the most charismatic ML and the perfect undercover spy.

Erratic schedules such as these are how a show loses viewers

I think this drama was about 5 or 6 years ahead of its time. If it came out now or even last year this would have been a smash hit.

Why are eps 20-22 showing released on the episode guide but not avail on Youku?

I just rewatched this over the weekend and damned if I didn’t find myself crying with every episode.
This has to be the most thoughtful and touching drama I’ve ever seen from Taiwan and they are known for producing excellent dramas.
I want more of this crazy made family and of Pu Yiyongs simple and noble heart.
Any news of a second season?
