Show infuriated me to the end which I suppose is fitting. I said it once before but Mucheon Gardens is the garden of Evil. It needs to be leveled, along with all its shitty, despicable citizens, and the Earth salted. Glad Jeong Woo and his Mom got free and everyone involved seems to have been held accountable but it still feels like justice was not completely served. I hated that the Chief succeeded in burning Da Eun’s corpse. It seems so unfair when you consider how integral her killing and the cover up were to JW’s plight. I don’t like that the reveal was only referred to in the wrap up last minutes of the show. Anyway…it was a good show, one of the best kdramas of 2024 to be sure but honestly not because the story was so good. It was the most infuriating plot I’ve ever experienced. The quality of the show stands on the merit of the actors.
I tell you I’ve never been so enraged and infuriated with a show that also simultaneously caused me to be singularly invested in the outcome. Maybe King of Pigs is a close second. I will not be sorry to see this wrap but I will miss its quality. It was such a good show. Maddening. But very good. Kudos to BTH who was excellent in this role.
Ep 11 underscored the tragedy and injustice done to Bo-Yeong. That’s the real central plot of this show. Certainly what was done to JW was also injustice but what that poor girl had gone through, her whole life, at the hands of her Father, Mother, trusted elders and best friends was one heartbreaking betrayal after another.
I’m glad the chickens are coming home to roost. With only 3 eps remaining, and the avalanche of evidence coming to light, I hope that long denied justice will prevail. For Bo-Yeongs sake and JW’and his family as well.
But seriously though, where does this violent sense of entitlement come from? Byeong Mo, Min Su and CNG (or whatever her real name is) feel justified in violating one friend, causing her death, covering it up, then pinning the crime on another with the result being the destruction of an entire family. And their parents too, but in the case of the friend circle the temper tantrums, shameless placing of blame onto others and manipulation it’s just mind blowing. They are desperately trying to protect a future they feel entitled to and ruthless in their intent to destroy those who they think unfairly have the opportunities they deserve. This entire community needs to be obliterated. One big cleansing natural disaster will do. Wipe them all out and salt the land. JW, HS, SO and NSC should leave and never look back.
This show is a sucker punch to the gut. It is that melting sensation in your heart when falling in love. It is a cry to heaven, a prayer leaving the tongue, desperate, fearful yet bearing hope.
Just rewatched (for the 2nd couple of course) I cannot believe the potential for such scorching kisses was buried in the most bland ass, vanilla BL I’ve ever seen. But thank God for TTOF.
Is it true that WP 10 will not air today? WTF? How can they just change up the airing schedule? I waited all week to be infuriated by 1 hour of Black Out on Friday and 1 hour on Saturday.
Waiting to find out what Ha Seol is really doing in that village. Is she related to the Da Eun somehow? And does Detectives wife’s death have anything to do with this? Or is his being there coincidence & wife’s death just an unexplored plot line?
See? This show has given me trust issues. I suspect everyone.
Wow. I mean Wow. I was always way more interested in these two from the first series. But I was afraid a series about their backstory would be cringe. So glad they surprised me. And the kissing was definitely worth mentioning. Those kiss scenes, especially the second one, had me feeling like I was watching a Japanese or Taiwanese BL.
Can’t wait to see more,

Su-oh took Da Eun’s body? Is she still alive? I’m so damned confused.

I do not care about this triangle.

Made me feel some kinda way, let me tell you.
Now let’s get a part 3 with their happy ending.
