This show has me more excited than any show has in a long time. I can’t quite articulate why but it surely it’s on account of the leads and their chemistry. Plus, iI’m eager to see TY pine for my baby girl 😍😍 I need heart eyes, tenderness and devotion from the Dragon King.

Like many, I exchanged words with that fool earlier. They have no understanding of cdramas let alone xianxia. Their review history is malicious. Every response they made to BFTB defenders was belittling and gaslighting. Some people are so jealous of the love others have for a thing they gotta burn it down. And the fact that they’ve got anonymity gives them “internet tough guy” syndrome.
I love love love Tian Yao. But I’d be lying if I didnt admit to wanting to see him pine and beg and crawl to win back my baby girls precious heart. She is worth it and I really want to see him suffer the same pangs of unrequited love that she did. But just for a minute cuz I really want them to just admit they love each other and reconcile.
Also that schyster that ran into Mom is played by the crazy President from Devil Judge and the shit-head husband from Happiness. He is a excellent dort bag.
On ep 4 and I cannot get over how friggin cute the twins are. And paired up with Kang Ho they are a menace 😭😭😭😭 What excellent acting from these tiny people.

You know I would buy that but for the specific language you used to criticize Fight Breaks Sphere. You can come into these reviews and counter anyone who replies with as much manufactured reasonableness as you want. This isn’t about objective assessments. You are being passive aggressive and narcissistic. And other viewers can tell. A clear indication is that when someone makes a counter point you imply that they lack critical thinking. Classic narcisism. Knock it off dude. You aren’t fooling anyone.

It’s clear you have no experience with xianxia and certainly no appreciation for it. I personally didn’t watch the show you rated and I’ve heard mixed reviews.
I can’t for the life of me understand why someone would be so butt hurt by a show that they wouldn’t just drop it instead of going on to MDL, blasting it with a 4 then spewing hate like you did. Okay okay, we get you Robert Ebert. You have the power of being a critic here at MDL. And they gave you anonymity too but watch that. My advice to you is that it can give some false license to behave like a troll.

This show came seemingly out of nowhere and had big shoes to fill coming on the heals of an epic like TTEOTM…
Yet it’s charmed the hell out of all of us and I’m wondering if this the most lovely cast yet.
Then this photo shoot comes out and I realize…there is no need to wonder. This cast is talented AND stunning. Our CP are too beautiful for words. Man…we have been blessed in 2023.
For me what prevents this show from easily being one of the best xianxia’s ever done is that it featured too many interesting characters that were under explored or whose story was cut too short: Ji Ze Scholar Peng Pian Ran - what an abrupt ending of her story QingYu - feels like a plot hole
