Yes, I’m also team Yao Yao. But I also agree that he deserves a few jabs. BXS is a decent catalyst. And who knows, maybe he’ll continue to be useful. At any rate, they all justified in being obsessed with her. It’s as it should be:

With nothing else to do but reflect back on this show I’ll share a few thoughts/questions. 1. What was Yan Hui’s shifu doing in Dragon Valley when she was little and burnt the tree? 2) Who is the hooded dude on Snow Peak who gave TY a speech about the double edged sword? Was he YH’s Master? His robes were light colored but we know by now to distrust the “righteous” ones. Was he a true friend of the elves and the Dragon King or was he a collaborator of SY’s who made it easy to betray him? 2) Why is the big evil bad guy in the spirit forest also a young-looking hooded guy? Are they related. Is he the “after” version of the Snow Peak dude? 3) Why did YH suddenly lose her ability to use dragon power in the spirit forest? It came after the spirit ninja’s that the big evil were throwing around hit her. 4) note the moment the sword returned. Only when he was thinking of others. It would not have returned or allowed itself to be wielded only for TY to sacrifice an innocent life for others.
Just watch ep 16. It’s so obvious that something else was going on that we didn’t see in that ep. I’ll point to the scene jump from when Yun hai found Tianyao after Su Ying killed Yun and how show cut to a field where he stabbed her. Think about how stupidly Nobel he is and protective of her. He obviously did that to protect her cuz now Su Ying is gunning for the heart scale. And I like the BXS development. He cares about her. He wants to protect her from harm and even especially how vulnerable she lets herself be w TY. No matter what comes next, YH villain era or what, BXS is going to stick by her side. I love TY, but he’s going to be stupidly noble and self sacrificing. He’s going to try to do “the right thing”. It will break our baby girls heart. But at least she won’t be alone. BXS will make sure she has a place to cry it out. That gives me comfort.

For a sec there I almost confused House of Stars (Thai BL) with Star Struck ( Korea BL).
Every time I hear a Thai woman giving the opening dialogue nowadays I think of Mol from 180 Degrees.
