Episode 11 and I have thoughts. 1. Su Ying may be an obsessed zealot but she is also one fantastic villain. Thankfully her obsession isn’t over Tianyao 2. Yanhui and Tianyao have the most solid relationship ever portrayed in cdrama. They are so devoted to one another. Can’t wait until they realize they’ve caught feelings because their chemistry is already serving. Couldn’t be separated because their hands were clamped together 🥰🥰🥰🥰 3. BXS is giving me second lead syndrome but there is so far only the basis of a strong friendship potential. It’s all because of his charisma, i adore this rascal. 4. Shit I love this show. Was not expecting it to be so much fun.
That was amazing. Literally checked all my boxes. It was spooky, mysterious, funny and could be so incredibly emotional. I just love it. I hope we get a second season.
Am I the only one who refers to Ye Tan as “My Baby Girl”? Just me? Ok. She is just so awesome. I’ve been rooting for her ornery, precocious and adorable self since day 1. After watching this show while it aired but quitting at ep 38 cuz I was scared of the ending, I’m finally now re at Jing with the intent to finish. Binge weekend, here we come.
Yay Zhou Ye!!! Good to see her pretty face again. I for one am looking forward to this and am enjoying the first ep, I also just finished TTEOTM but I am not a moron and can discern the value of a show without the necessity of comparison.
5 more hours before I can watch the finale and oh my god y’all are making me want to cry with your laments but also rejoice that we all got to share this journey. The quality of cdramas, particularly xianxia’s, lately are just out of this world. Each major production surpassing the next. I’m going to have to reshuffle my “favorite cdramas of all time list” yet again. My hat is off to everyone who contributed to this epic but especially the leads. I knew LYX was capable of something extraordinary from the first time I saw him on The Fox Screens. And Bai Lu delivered another magnificent performance.
