So I picked up The Story of Ming Lan to get me through the wait between eps of NLB and let me tell you….what a jarring transition. The harem politics in SML are a pain right in the ass. NBL characters and relationships are so refreshing by comparison. I’m going to miss this show.
I’m years behind the eight ball with this show. I found it super slow and kind of boring until about ep 15. Now I’m on ep 64 and I have to repent my previous post. Gu Ting Ye has really grown on me. SFS does a great job playing this rapscallion. Still kind of draggy and I swear I’ll never watch another harem drama again. These women are toxic wenches but I love watching ML come into her own power and truly…their love story is one of a kind.

I’ve been mourning the finale for weeks and just about given up hope. But now that I see that Koiche is literally an Angel, hopefully Micchan figures it out soon. This baby boy is alive when he experiences true love. They need to make love.
As 2022 is coming to a close I will state that in my objective opinion Love in the Air, specifically, the love scenes between Rain and Phayu, are the best ever. And I’m a KinnPorsche fiend.
