I agree with your assessment of the writer’s intent regarding adoptions. And, I think you are right about the writer choosing loneliness as a punishment for the two people who conspired to separate family members. It makes sense that at the end they were the ones who ended up removed from the family. A fitting punishment.

I do prefer happy endings and l am happy the leads got theirs. I don’t understand why YT got a happy ending. She was included in all of the Kumbayah moments. SY’s wedding and family pictures??? Really. The woman who: 1) stole my husband and child and money and 2) conspired with her biological daughter to keep my daughter’s husband from knowing the identity of his bio mom would not be invited to my wedding. Oh well. 🤔

That was a very touching scene for me as well.

About the disappearing groom. I actually have no words that would accurately describe my utter disgust of the writer for making it the ending scene of the episode. The joyous music and comraderie among the three families I expected. But, this disappearing act is an unwelcomed surprise.

No mixed feelings for me. We were duped. One episode of touchy feely does not move me. Ny still needs to be held accountable for her actions because their are no previous episodes that made her remotely likable and thus a candidate for redemption. Sorry 😞.

Your comment is spot on. I agree with you. This writer seems to have no concept of balance. They show 1 episode of SJ and NY hugging as kids and this makes all her conniving, hateful, mean spirited, and tongue slithering lies ok? I know that you have to give up a few brain cells to watch some Kdramas, but this is asking for my whole brain. I have to remember this writer’s name. From this point forward I will check dramas I watch to make that I avoid this writer’s work.

I agree with you. I believe HW said in earlier episode that he could never forgive NY for her involvement with the DNA switch. So now he is her therapist? The writer should be ashamed.

I think you are on to something. NY’s jealousy of her savior has been seen throughout this series. NY’s tendency to get in way over her head and SJ tendency to rescue her each and every time is a constant reminder of how inadequate NY is. NY seeks out SJ’s help, but hates and berates SJ for giving it. It’s a classic toxic relationship with no end in sight.

I just saw the untranslated latest episode. I don’t know what to say except get ready to sing kumbayah. Get ready for tears and group hugs. Get ready for a cheesy comic relief moment and scripted fake laughter. This is not a complicated love story. No, this is a complicated Mess. The only characters with sense and substance are: HW, A Ra, and Mari and maybe HS if he does not take NY back. Those two brothers need to drop kick those two sisters to the curb and call it a day. Yes, SJ needs to go to, I cannot believe she jeopardized her unborn baby for an such an ungrateful, psychotic, and hateful person. Lastly, NY should have received treatment from a neutral professional. Not the person who triggers her psychosis. This should have been common knowledge for the writer.

If the writer is going for a pity embrace of NY by all viewers I think that ship sailed 123 episodes ago. The writer did a great job creating that devious manipulative monster never showing a balance. It will take more than 8 episodes for me to even think about feeling empathy for NY.

Even in episode 123, NY was trying to get stupid SJ to help her. We all witnessed how NY treated SJ after SJ kept silent about NY’s role in SJ’s downfall. The SJ character reminds me of an old postcard that I saw that pictured a person on their knees with their arms outstretched. The caption on the postcard read “ Wait please comeback there’s a part of my face that you haven’t stepped on yet” Every time SJ bends to NY’s will I think of that postcard.
