Someone tell me if this is worth a watch??? 50 episodes seems a bit much ;')
How I watch toxic Kdramas and keep my sanity. I do the following:
1. watch the first few episodes to get familiar with main characters and understand the plot. It is at this stage that I will know if the drama will consist of toxic Menusha or a good series to watch all the way to the end without my finger on the fast forward (ff) button. If Menusha is the main focus I proceed to steps 2 and 3 shown below.
2. watch a few episodes in the middle to get more indept info about the direction of the plot and a sense of character development or lack thereof. Based on what I see I decide whether to continue or drop the series. If I continue I proceed to step 3.
3. watch the concluding last two to three episodes to see what happened.
4. Review comments about the series in MDL. And, depending upon series outcome, celebrate or denigrate the series, the cast and the writers with fellow viewers.
While I do not disagree with any of your points, I still think the writer did a commendable job considering this…
We’ll see how this story will unfold. I still stand by my position regarding the female lead’s attempts to convince her parents. I have not heard anything in the story that would prevent her from transforming in front of her parents. To me that is a flaw in the writing that could have been fixed up front. Then her angst over her parent not accepting her word would make more sense.
I like this comedy, but there is a fatal flaw with the writing. Why show the female lead being so upset with her parents for not believing her when she tried to tell them (as the old woman) that she is their daughter? The writer did not introduce any reason that would have prevented her from transforming into the old woman in front of her parents. Instead she tries to convince them (while she is the old woman) that she is their daughter. That’s just sloppy writing that could have easily been fixed with a couple of lines. Now we’re down to 2 episodes where the writer is going to crammed everything in. 😖😤😡
I wonder why they portray women as that. that's why I so much enjoy seeing a male lead get revenge than watch…
You are right about him seeing his wife’s real personality. But in a conversation between the two about why he met with her (the one where he described the Go matches that he had with her), he made it sound as if he was seduced by her skill level. It was nothing sexual. The wife replied “That’s still cheating.”

Also, the female lead in The Glory completed her revenge on one of her tormentors without using sex. She used her skills playing the game Go to seduce her main tormentor’s husband.
Finslly watched Episode 12. I am really enjoying this drama. I can’t wait for the next episodes. Many thanks to those who replied to my question about Netflix late upload.
I watched today’s episode and thought the writer is going to drag this out until the last two episodes. The writer followed the same pattern in The Love in Your Eyes (same male lead whom I adore). I plan to wait and watch the last two episodes for the big reveal and then watch for either family bonding or bad guys comeuppance, or both. Some people say “It’s all about the journey, not the destination”. Yes, this saying is spot on for Road Trips. And, to a limited extent it is spot on for TV series. BUT, only if the TV series is not filled with 85% Junk episodes and 15% good episodes with the 15% placed strategically at the beginning, middle, and ending. Not all Kdramas fit this pattern. I plan to adjust my watching habit to match this pattern and eliminate or minimize my anxiety. 😎
glad I'm not the only one omg! she has about 2 facial expressions and she does this thing with her mouth that's…
That thing with her mouth is a sneer and it also drives me nuts. And, what’s up with the slapping? Moon is always in sneer mode, but the sneer- slap mode is becoming too common. I do not condone men beating women. And, I do not condone women slapping men because they are pissed off. I do condone self defense when necessary. With that said, man or woman if you throw a punch and it is not a self defense situation, you should be ready to receive a punch.
