I really like your thought process and observations!I’m in the US I wonder what the legality of an adult with…
I’m not sure about the legal consequences of that scenario in the US. I am aware that some folks here in the US with a lot of money do not follow the same legal or moral standards as others in the US
Good acting cannot rescue poor writing. Misdirections, confusing plot, and idiotic characters are all the results of poor writing. 1. Hidden birth in one family. Dysfunctional family. 2. Abusive, greedy, needy mother in another family. Dysfunctional family. 3. Semi functional family connected to both dysfunctional families. 4. What’s wrong with finding a husband for your mentally challenged adult daughter who’s mentally 12 years old?Really? WTF. The scene where the aunt, stepmom, and dad were discussing this made me scream at the the TV. I calmed myself down after all it’s just a TV drama. I do not care for incest themes implied or completed. Writers should be talented enough to expose the hidden birth secret without having the sister pursuing her brother. I’m not sure that I will complete this drama.
I am not familiar with the webtoon, so I have nothing to compare the TV series version. For the most part, I thought that the writer cleverly showed the impact of death in all of its forms outside natural causes, i.e. suicide, murder, or accidental. Each episode was uniquely interesting to watch because of the high profile actors that lead character morphed into. And, I found myself looking forward to seeing how the story would expressed by each actor. I especially liked seeing the Alchemy of Soul stars again and Lee Do Hyun😍.
Since, I am an happy ending person, I felt was ok, but unfinished. I don’t like guessing that things turned out. I really hate those leave it up to the viewers imagination ending. To me that is the epitome of lazy writing that is a highly popular trend. Did, he a job and live happily ever after with his love. OR, did he find the people that he morphed into and change their lives in some positive way. We saw how his death impacted others. How did having a second chance to live impact others? That’s what I wanted to see.
not to butt in here, but congratulations you're about to be the first person to receive this writeup (that will…
Thank you for your explanation and insight. This makes sense and is in line with Jang Hyun’s behavior towards Rang Eum. So, the gist of this is that the lover statement was a love that desired by Rang, but he knew it could never be. However, they did have a relationship that transcended traditional love.
Ryang E stated in the extended version that JH was his lover. JH never gave that impression in any of the episodes. Did anyone else see Ryang E’s statement about their relationship. If this was actually the case, it’s no wonder that Ryang said and did the things he did to Gil Chae.
