I was about to write all of this. She infuriates me. Most of the time I feel like yelling at her: "look him in the eyes!!!". "speak!!!", "get angry!!!". And at him... "you jerk!!!!"

Yup, it's truly not unbearable. And I very much liked the ending.

I actually respect quite a lot the fact that she's able to voice her own characters, she seems to be the only one that didn't get dubbing. And the fact that I don't find her acting that great hasn't really put me off from watching anything with her. Maybe because I'm reading subtitles it doesn't bother me much. I watched her in My amazing boyfriend 2 and truth is, if it wasn't for her, I would've never finished that one.

you think so? I find her acting as if she were in an anime. The big hand gestures and faces. But someone's rubbish is someone else's treasure, that's why there's something for everyone.

To be fair, most Danmei will be lacking without the romance. But in this one, a lot of the story's charm is how they interact with each other and the embarrassing things they say in front of others..

I loved your article. The whole drama has many shots that look like a painting. Such as: every time Jiang Li appears, the tree behind and the petals. Fang Fei on her red dress and who ever is with her is either black or white, with her dancing, the petals falling, the music... Even when her sister plays de guqin with all the beautiful blue butterflies... I found it all sooo gorgeous! Thanks for this!!

I'm not sure many of these dramas are Comfort dramas, I loved Hospital play list but it made me suffer... a lot. My mister is also a tough one and definitely The first frost is not one I would recommend for comfort. Maybe someone would have to define comfort. When I fly towards you, where they have so few problems or New life begins, where characters go through very few negative situations, just the daily, mundane ones... that's comforting for me.

It's a nice watch. The female character are all awesome,. The male characters took quite a while to like. But in the end, they all grew on me.
