From what I noticed this drama's costume is definitely cheap. I have watched over hundred historical cdramas. There is no way those ugly clothes are expensive or exquisite. Now you guys are over praising.

This drama's cheap looking costume and make up is why I won't give it a 9/10 rating. Look is really important for me in historical drama.

Qiu Yan is always ready to kill herself or hurt herself. Poor Liang Yi is always getting heart attack because of her.

One episode a day isn't so bad. It's easy to watch. And don't have to suffer from too much palace drama. Also it's available on YouTube. So easy to watch. I don't need VPN to watch. In which counties do you guys need VPN?

Currently on episode 2, Xu kai's wife is super odd. I don't like her

Lots of unnecessary characters, specially female ones. Like please don't show this kind of characters in drama. They are full of cringe.
I hated Liqin's haircut. It's so choppy. I have no problem with short hair but that ugly haircut isn't it. Seems like a lot of Chinese actresses don't have any ideas about what a good haircut is.

It's a open ending leaning towards happy.

They have a six years age gap. And when Yang Mi was already in her peak, Dilireba just started getting popular. So I won't consider them as same generation actors. Reba played supporting characters in many of Yang Mi's projects. So they aren't really comparable.

I would say episode 11-12 to be more appropriate. He kept thinking about her. And he even bought jewelry for her.

After episode 5. In the first 10 episodes , episode 9 is the most interesting.
