Also recently most drama viewers are enjoying slice of life type drama more in china. The fantasy genre has its own following but this genre is kind of on a decline since last year. There have been too many dramas in this genre and audience are kind of bored. So it's better for the top stars to avoid this genre for now.
Just watched episode 35 with better subtitles again. So Bai Wei really never loved Chun Huang. Whatever now or then sea emperors had rotten luck in love. The Bai women are unlucky too. Honestly so many drama has annoying love triangles. This drama didn't have any. This was the biggest plus for me. So I didn't had to skip any scenes. Also their osts were really good.
Honestly Li YiFeng and Yukee has quite nice chemistry in their bts videos. It's seems like the characters vibe just didn't suit them properly. However I always felt that Su Mo loves Bai Ying. It's her feeling that was more difficult to understand. The directing was very poor in the drama.
