The reason many of didn't really feel any chemistry between the leads is because they don't really have that many scenes together. Even till episode 18, the scenes between the main leads are very few. This kind of setting prevents creating good chemistry. They really need more interaction. You are my glory is a modern drama, of course it's easier to follow the novel but for fantasy dramas it's often hard. Maybe writers should think about that before publishing their novels. Some stories really don't make any sense in drama version.
I finally remembered that the second couple worked together before in another drama and they had quite a decent chemistry. Sometimes I am really bad at recognizing people.😂
