This truly summed up what was wrong with everything. One didn't know what was the intention. JJ doing it felt fitting for the moment. Nunew, just no. It felt more out of place than the facial wash ads and very self serving. Yes, the show was about the next prince so why add other storylines that vastly overshadowed theirs which btw was vapid. Ava, desiring her father's approval could have been done differently. She fought for a seat at the table for all womanhood and once she received his approval, she quickly reverted. Poor message.

It was decent but ZeeNuNew storyline of Charan and Khanin was leaning to boring and pedestrian. The pomp and ceremony was there but one needed to check their pulse after ep 3. Their meetings for want of a better word was just as bland as Charan's expressions. Khanin's fire was a short match, the spark didn't excite any interest one way or the other. If darling sweet bubbly Chakri was not a part of their lives, one could ff and not miss anything.

What kept me watching?
Ramil and Paytai, Wasin and to a lesser degree, Calvin and Jay and Ava. They made the experience bearable. Their storylines were far more interesting and played well. Personally, I would have felt more satisfied if the king had died before seeing Khanin's win. The many lives lost over the years due to greed was disheartening.

The ending was too long with nothing worth that time. Possibly two clips of Ramil and Paytai enjoying a moment of true happiness and Prince Tharin meeting with Calvin and Jay to get a ground level pov on the environmental issues could have been added.

I wish the script would have been as rich as the royals were dressed. The action scenes could have been carried through the episodes to liven up the viewers experience. Overall, not bad but could have been better.

This is exactly how I felt. Plus the unnatural kisses. I expected the dead kiss but what they did was worse. Plus Yagii's tone always felt like a parent to a child. 55 min took me 3+ days to complete.

I'm not too sure on that. When student 2 said his name, he just wanted to know where and from whom as his anonymity is important to him. I think he likes student 1 as he gave him his name. This he didn't have to do as he had already left. When both asked to see him again, he put them off. Therefore no attachments. Before leaving student 2, he looked at a pic of student 1 and smiled. I'm assuming he was happy that student 1 was looking for him and that he still held the power dynamic as student 2 had promised to stay silent. His physical response to the lesson with student 1 was also more intense. Hopefully, more seasons would clear it up.

True. Keen acted like he knew more they did. It did feel like watching for watching sake.

He can act but I feel that he acts the same type so it feels like nothing new. Its still enjoyable especially next to Singto.

From the fire and passion here, then to sanitized and sedated In Fourever You, now back to regretful and raging in Reset. Those who say can't act? Absolutely the opposite. He is in a league of his own. 180 and Reset are the types of roles he can sink his teeth into and deliver.

Firstly, let's start with the obvious, these are my thoughts and evaluations and not yours. Feel free to write your own. The world awaits or not.

Having a difference of opinion on any subject is a given, being bitchy and an ahole about it is not. Also given that the tastes of every viewer varies one should not expect the same response to be had.

What you call camp, I call cringe. What you call drama, I call basic. Lack of proper direction in telling a cohesive story. What you call iconic, I call reaching.

Yin and War are beautiful to watch when the script is right and the pieces fit. This was not it. It was a sweaty mess and the sequel after.

So I suggest that you get some release from that proverbial chokehold, loosen those undies and inhale. Reality is calling, answer. 👄🍑

I too loved the movie and them. I'm believing he did as Ji Hyeon wanted. He wanted to be at his side but Ji Hyeon chose to take the blame himself to not jeopardize GW career. When the roomate asked JH to move out, when he entered his bedroom, from the outside GW was told, "GW, don't look so down, it makes you look like the gulty one." So GW chose to stay silent and do as JH wanted. What confused me was, why didn't JH move on and chose this end? The co worker randomly visiting and singing the song of hope to him, could have played a bigger part. This one person supported him when no one did. It ends with them both at the lighthouse. GW throws the shell and JH hugs him. They're wearing different clothes and roles reversed. Am I right in believing that he still loves him deeply and dreams of a moment with him again or did he too commit S and this is their meeting as JH looks the same and he has matured.

The dismal lighting from beginning to end made this a little more depressing than it needed to be but worth the watch. While S is an option some take, I wish films portray other options. It seems an easy copout to make the film more drastic.

Curious to see if they did better in the special or just as. I'm not sure if it's worth it.

I actually listen as I read the subs and watch the series. P'Fah is heard multiple times in every scene when he speaks to him. This is very irritating. Some series may only use Phi or P' which is way more acceptable. If the special is anything like this, I may not watch.

Lack of creativity and/or their target audience probably like to see such behaviors. I can't see their industry widening if this continues as is.

I do not think this is the worst thing that can be shown in a drama. My initial comment was to add clarity for those watching to keep an open mind and not automatically cast judgment againt the teacher and the situation. This was done before the age of consent changed. My review also recommends to view it as a period piece and not by todays standards which would make it illegal. I highlighted the controversial areas as this is where offense was taken. Would it be acceptable for a teacher to have relations with a student under his care? Would it be acceptable for a teacher well into their late 30's / early 40's to have a relationship with a student not yet 18? To add, being gay at that time was frowned on and both were. As I said before, watch the short in the period it was filmed and it will be interesting. Don't watch it with 2025 legalities.
