Hereβs the thing, I don't favor pairing. They just work well together.
I empathize with Makiko and what she went though but I still don't like her. Naoto was used because she knew that she could. Junichi was played because she knew that she could. Keisuke, a willing participant, was lied to and would have been used because she wanted to. Had she told the truth to them I would have a different opinion. She has been cold and calculating from the onset.
Yes, she had a great motive. She wanted to protect her child's future. Look at the cost. She placed herself back into the hands of her rapist to have her life destroyed again on a grander scale. Her son will have to live with a bigger fallout with his mother as a self defense killer vs not getting into the dream school.
When would he be allowed to learn there are consequences to actions. Well he'll see it now for his mother. I hope she isn't given any jail time. She did suffer and rape is an invasive act that destroys your autonomy, your sovereignty.
Junichi, while I give him more grace, I hate how he treats his girl friend like a place holder. Using her as a buffer at times between himself and Makiko. I hope all three of them can rid themselves of the hold Makiko has over them and truly like her as a good friend. I think she needs that more.
I understand how difficult it is to be Po. The choice between being a porn star vs being loved deeply by someone? So so difficult? π€£π€£π€£
Sasom should've taken pics of his π and π and turned it wallpaper for their bedroom. Cuz no one can say Po is playing with a full deck. Priorities. π
Hey can anyone explain the ending especially with what the lead read on the red paper and the point of him running…
The therapist couldn't act on his emotions for him because of the contract. He couldn't verbally respond while on the premises. So before leaving he left a note for him. When he read it, he realized the therapist had similar feelings and ran after him. That's my take on it.
The beginning and end of each episode was fun. The hesitation before he became immersed in therapy was always hilarious for me as well as the slight terror at the each end. He opened the boxes curious but very unsure on the practicality. I skipped the benders after ep 2. I hate dead spaces. When he prepared for each session with perfume and a kiss like a date, I knew he was lost to the therapist. When he read the note and his reaction, I rooted for their happy ending.
This could have been a 'traditional' bl without all the actual tedious therapy. Add more of his hesitations and therapist stoic expressions winding down to the note and exit would have been a better watch. At least for me. To each their own. I will not view Strongberry and therapists in the same light anymore π.
The genre should be comedy. This was a good laugh. Ngl, Flying Penguin does this kinda stuff but Strongberry is a shocker. How low? From Choco Milk Shake to this. Tough.
I loved Poon. I liked Marc. I was okay with Ohm. For me OhmPoon works better than MarcPoon. Poon is thriving in delivery as he feeds off of Ohm more. At least here. I'm not a fan of pairing due to the fact that there is only one expected end in a series. Letβs see what the future holds.
The ones that should be 30 min are usually 10. The ones that should be 10 are 30. The ones that should never be made get a second season. The ones that should have many seasons (The On1y One πͺ) get one.
What's especially sad here is that these 2 actors can do better.

Jeon Yu Bin, Jeong Ri U and Lee Sang Min are three web actors that are good to watch. I wish I could see all together sometime.
We'll file this under fantasy cuz reality left about 4 eps ago

The way they keep almost linking is giving good acting but kinda reaching.
