When everyone was blaming Jeong U for ghosting Han Gyeol, I knew there was a reason he didn’t show. His behavior in their relationship was protector, so why would he randomly just ghost him. I knew he probably had some sort of altercation with Han Gyeol's ex.
Jeon Yu Bin has done so well here. He has so much potential. No matter the series, he has an ease in his performances that it makes him a joy to watch.
Edit: Just to add, Jeong U is the best kisser in the short form. I don't blame Han Gyeol for falling for him 🤭
WTF is going on?!???? ep 5 & am so freakin confused - r the subs wrong or what, cause the way Jeong U acted…
Ep 6 is out today and it clears up the misinformation. They were both kept apart by different reasons and an act by a 'friend'. In a way, both were indirectly ghosted.
While the storyline for PerthSanta here has me side eyeing the writer, I have to admire Santa's delivery. His…
I think they started the storyline, forgot about it and then tried to fix it in the most rushed crude way possible.
While I love Thee and Peach, their storyline has had no real adversity to redeem 10 ep worth. Had they incorporated and fleshed out more of the other two couples storlines, it would have given a more full bodied series. I do still love it for the differences but it lapsed badly with the poor handling of TawanAran abusive situation and reconciliation.
While the storyline for PerthSanta here has me side eyeing the writer, I have to admire Santa's delivery. His expressive eyes and emotional tone is always on point. He's crying. I'm crying. It is what it is.
I'm on the last 2 ep and am wondering if the price was worth it. It is better than most on the app but it loses it's charm due to the price to view immediately or to wait at 70 a pop for < 4 min. It's good but ......
At the point when he accepted the bouquet, to begin again, that was the moment he should have made time to discuss the past. How can he move forward while he's holding onto the pain that he created for himself. His insecurity led him to make decisions without credibility. He should be sad every day with his victim mentality. When the truth of the entire fiasco is revealed, how stupid would he feel for not trusting his partner and assuming a responsibility that wasn't his? Mawin needs a father, but he should have been given the option to know his real father. Whomever it is. Two things: Maya and Than passed each other in the hospital and didn't recognize each other.
Than sees Akin's phone and it doesn't affect him beyond seeing her as Mawin's mom.
So, did the one night stand choose Than's name and # as his cover when they met?
Hope the pace picks up as it's dragging on too long.
2nd couple Client irritated me no end with his superior attitude. When he fixed the utensils on the plate was moment I switched teams. Yes, photographer is rough around the edges but that's what is intriguing his boring self.
I knew in my gut that HG was the one who did the major ghosting. There were hints... "if he disappeared" etc. While DH still has to explain why he didn't show up for the getaway, I'm assuming he got into some kind of trouble with HG ex. Incarceration? Hospital? I'm adopting the wait and see here.
Jeon Yu Bin has always been a competent actor and I hope he gets to go onto bigger projects. Finally something with more meat to it.
I must have forgotten everything abt season 1, because this doesn't make sense to me.
The flashback of him hearing the conversation on the street should have been placed in a previous ep. Then his disappearance would have felt justified. It's as if he was already planning to leave after the ex abused him. Then hearing the convo and reading the text, he did it.
It's 5yrs later. When Jeong disappeared, Jeong was already set to enter military service for 21 months. Then add him returning to finish uni which might be another 2 yrs and then 1 yr to get a job and settle in. During this time, assuming that Han Gyeol switched schools and cities again, found a job and settled into the company building his career.
I think what was shocking for me was how mind numbing this was for a Korean bl. The mls could not save what could be described as the most horrible script ever. They also needed to feel comfortable in the roles which was apparent they weren't. Loud smacking kisses are supposed to convey passion? The direction, pacing, dialogue, body language needs serious work. I have seen Jae Hun / Jung act much better than this. Hae Jun / Kim is on par with what he previously did, so I wasn't expecting that much better. Why was this stretched to 10 ep when clearly there wasn't enough material? Just poses and voice overs. Truly disappointed.
Didn't think I'd love this so much. Out of nowhere, this packed a punch. Decent acting. Great chemistry. Coherent plot. Wonderful fighting scenes. Impactful ending. Worth watching again and again.
I liked the whole vibe of this. The panicked moments are so real but just a little over the top. The struggle I felt was the very slow delivery. An ok watch with enjoyable characters.

Every time Il Jo called his name. More endearing than before.
Number patterns on Jeong Han's bedroom wall shifted.
Lee Dong Joo / Il Jo's adopted brother delivered a performance worth appreciating
Hwang Seong Sun / cafe manager
Would love to see more of him in the future.
Jeong Han's meltdown - humorously humbling.
Rewatched many times. Loved it.

This is my take on the time line.
