The 2 yrs was the new job, the pants drop after the request, LFX finding his spot infront of the television, BLQ becoming financially independent.

If I were Old Bei and had a daughter like that, I'd leave things as they were. Never know when she might come home pregnant again without a baby daddy. Plus where does LFX really have to go with family like what he has? In the beginning I thought his mother cared, now nah. LFX kinda on the thick side mentally but with a very soft heart.

Side note: Even if it is to save face because of his daughter, Old Bei still honors his deal with him and in his own way speaks kindly to him. These are the types of daughters you lock away in a convent.

I practically live on youtube for those promoted there. I only watch these on the official channel. QD, Sukfilm, Love Memory etc. It does not make sense to watch elsewhere. I use others for larger productions that can't be seen otherwise especially if it is geo blocked or without translations. So I do support as best as I can. Also, take into consideration the multiple productions, and most requiring a member fee to view their content eg Gagaoolala, Iqiyi etc Adding all that plus Netflix is costly.

yes, the villian is always eccentric but here, as he is following the director (he would do as he is directed), feels borderline crazy rather than desperate. It's like he is charging the role too strong. Also yes, at times he is funny. I did enjoy the night he did sneak out in the rain to catch them after he could not do his homework.

In contrast, same role basically, the scheming gambling in-debt uncle from LITM.

In 180 degrees, yes he was passionate in the performances, full of energy when he was angry but there was a counterbalance when he wasn't.

In Reset it was totally warranted as he was frantic to not repeat the past.

Yes, agreed he has pressure on his end, but his method of 'handling' LXF is horrible. It is always his friend, who is the most kind and fair to LXF, who has to decode everything for LXF rather than him. That eviction was brutal on any level. He could do better, because he evicted LXF his 'brother in law' which is a more plausible excuse, to bring in his childhood friend/lover. How is that seen as acceptable? So I can't give him a pass.

What does BLQ want with LXF? He knew he was a contrified simple turnip from day one. He knew all this before taking his virginity. Now he uses his old flame upgrade to kick LXF out because of his snobbish friends who can't even make and deliver soup. I ached for LXF this week. When BLQ told him to aim higher with the financial news he received, I was thinking, yeah aim higher than you, too. Embarrassed by his simple mind but not too embarrassed to ride his simple 🍑. As much as I love and I do mean love Pond, I sometimes feel that he is not acting in the same drama. His character is stupid, without boundaries, illiterate, careless, prejudiced and abusive. The only thing he has going for him is his great eyesight even while drunk. Yes, he has to bring all of these qualities but I just feel that Pond could dial back a little on the hysterics. He is an accomplished actor and usually lands all of his performances. Here it is a little too over the top for me.
