Ep 8 - am I the only one who noticed the weird audio / camera work / voiceover at the two timestamps below???
@8:32 - the audio here was MUCH louder when Shawn said "I never returned to Hong Kong, China," and then immediately the audio went back to the original volume. You can tell they recorded that specific part in a studio rather than at the scene on the waterfront.
@29:29 - the camera was focused on the wrong character - it should have focused on Hui Leuk To (not his brother) because Hui Leuk To was the one saying "No matter what it takes, I'll keep going until my last breath. And when my time comes, I'll finally see him again."
And ^^^^^ the audio was different when he was saying that, too. It almost sounded like Hui Leuk To was saying that to himself internally, rather than saying it out loud. Which means, if it was indeed meant to be internal dialogue, rather than spoken out loud, the camera was definitely focused on the wrong character.
UGH. Those two things should have been caught in post, before the episode was cleared for release.
I really, REALLY hope this role will show a different side of Pooh instead of the same exact personality he has had for the last few series. He basically cloned himself from PB1, PB2 and GBYFD. There was zero difference in any of his characters' respective personalities.
If he's going to have an extended career he desperately needs to show some completely different acting chops.
But if B DOES love A, then B will turn into a Nour after the heart-bite.

At one point Jirat asked Chita about his first love, and Chita said that person had lied to him.
What if........Ken was Chita's first love? And Chita turned Ken into a Nour? Which means they had to love each other or Ken would have died from the heart-bite.
But......then.......what if Ken, after he became a Nour, fell OUT of love with Chita ?
Which would explain Ken and Chita being uncomfortable around each other in almost every scene they had together.
And if Ken didn't know about Chita's fire ability when they were together, but in that last scene in Ep 7 he finally realized it was Chita who had to ability to kill other Nour......that might also explain the strange look on Ken's face when he was looking at Chita all Noured out with blue eyes, etc. Ken might be happy he found a way for himself to finally die, but for that deadly Nour to be someone he used to love......he was also sad. And sad, as well, about the idea of dying after he had already fallen in love with James.

Someone in another comment suggested the fire Nour might be Chita's twin - not Chita himself.
So......if THAT is the case........then Ken might have been the first love of the HUMAN Chita, and then when that Chita found out about Ken being a Nour......that's what the human Chita meant when he told Jirat his first love had lied to him.
So that would also explain why Ken and Chita were uncomfortable around each other. Because they were Ex lovers.
James is half Nour/half human? When was that revealed?
It has not been "revealed" in a formal way, but James has powers that indicate he might be at least half Nour:
He can see people's "soul colors" and his eyes flash blue on occasion (like a Nour's eyes flash blue) when he's feeling a strong emotion or when he's looking at people, trying to see their "colors."
Many ppl are asking why, at the end of the episode, Ken looked at Chita for a long time with a strange look on his face
I suspect it may be for this reason:
Ken is immortal, and has been looking for a way to die for over 100 years. Now he has finally found the one Nour (that he knows of) who can kill him.
I think he was looking at Chita with a mix of sadness and hope. I think he suspected Chita as a Nour all along - they always had a weird, uncomfortable vibe between them but until the moment Chita killed Prae, Ken probably didn't really see him as a threat.
And now that Ken has fallen in love with James - he may be feeling torn about still wanting to die.....or not.
A big jumble of those emotions ^^^ may have been in his head when he was looking at Chita and that's why he had that look on his face.
except they will realize that the one who does not want to live forever, actually will end up living forever because…
If James is only part Nour, he may not be totally immortal like Ken. He'll live longer than the average human, but eventually he will die and Ken will live on.
my personal theory is that he fell in love with dr. and then started killing nours nearby who could be threat…

A heart-bites B to make B a Nour.
If B does NOT love A, B will die instantly.
But if B DOES love A, then B will turn into a Nour after the heart-bite.
I've only watched Ep 1 & 2 so far, but I'm getting a slight premonition that the series might end up like Twenty Five Twenty One (<---- a far superior series, by the way).
Meaning.......I envision the two ALOTY leads struggling to hang on through most of the series, but parting ways at the end.

But others are asking the questions I wanted to ask, so I'll just ask this instead:
Does each Nour have their own special power?
Chita's is fire that can kill other Nours.
Ken and Tee have / had super speed. Maybe Prae too? I didn't see Chita with super speed, though.
James - whom I'm still convinced is at least part Nour - can see other people's "soul colors."
It honestly added ZERO value to his acting resume.
