You might have missed it because it happened so fast.....but.....during the NC scene, James' eyes briefly flashed blue, like a Nour's eyes. (- which goes along with my theory that James is at least part Nour, with him being able to see the colors of people's souls, his eyes flashing blue, etc)

That's the moment when Ken covered James' eyes. I'm not sure if the blue eye color meant something to Ken that he didn't want to acknowledge, or what. The reason for all of that hasn't been revealed yet.

Plus, also consider that James can see the colors of people's souls....AND.....his eyes very briefly flashed blue in Episode 5, which hints that James may be at least part Nour, himself.

I get the feeling Chita is older than he seems. He might be a Nour.

My guess is that James is half-Nour. That's how he can see soul colors, and why his eyes flashed blue during the NC scene and when he's trying to look at people's "colors." But he doesn't have the super speed and blood craving of a full Nour.

And while we're at it......is Chita a Nour? He has this seductive, "injured but still deadly" aura (at least, to me). Plus there's his seeming aversion to human food. I feel like he's dangerous, in some way. Maybe not to humans, but to other Nour......?

I once watched a friend call her Dad, who had died several months before. His number no longer worked, but she would still call it and "leave a message" for him because she was so sad he was gone.

While you might think that scene was cringe, some people do actually do the same thing when they can no longer reach the person they love and are missing so badly.

Ep 21 at the 26:34 time stamp......

She forgot to take her small white suitcase with her when she walked out of Luke's apartment. But then at the 43:15 time stamp, suddenly she had the suitcase again.

Either she must have gone back for it, or Luke had it sent to her.

Kang Hoon - there are still so many dramas and movies I haven't watched yet, but the more I see you portraying different characters, the more I admire your acting.

I watched a short clip where you were feeling very emotional about your career and how long it took for you to be cast in larger, more important roles. I'm so glad you stuck with it, because it's always so good to see you in something new. You have worked hard, and I wish you continued success and happiness.

A deeply melancholy short film. There are very few moments of joy, but the story is one I couldn't look away from.

"He," while being the most tragic character, seemed to be the only one with any sort of life in him.

The other two characters, "She" and "I," came across as being disconnected from everything, even their supposed "friendships" with each other. It felt like they had no soul, even after they got married. I sensed no love between them at all.

I was so glad "He" didn't commit suicide, but when he vanished from the lives of "She" and "I," my mind and heart desperately hoped that he was able to find happiness somewhere in the world.

I haven't read the novel, but I'll take your word for it.

It's not a BL / GL story, so what would they censor?

I read on a FB page that several entire episodes were deleted from this series. I'm not sure if that's actually true, but it would explain why some plot points are so choppy / confusing.

Ep 20 was heartbreaking.

Ep 20 - I don't love him in this moment, because the flashback in Ep 20 clearly shows that he noticed her on her very first day at the company.......

But in Ep 19, starting at the 42:29 time stamp, they're cuddling on the couch talking about the first time they met.

Flora tells Luke she immediately noticed how handsome he was.

But LUKE, asshole extraordinaire, completely ruins the moment by telling her ONCE AGAIN, as he has SO MANY TIMES since they began their relationship, that HIS first impression of her was how stupid she was.

Over the six years they have been together, I've lost track of how many times he has called her that. It's not an "affectionate" term, either. He really treats her like shit and his irrational jealously whenever he imagines she's being unfaithful is beyond words.

He is un-fucking-real.

Is James part Nour, himself? Is that how he can see people's colors?

And if James *IS* part Nour, I wonder if he even knows?

Ep 19 -

I've been pretty annoyed by Luan Nian for the last few episodes, but in this episode, when he FLUNG himself on the couch because he heard Flora opening the door to the apartment, I LOL'ed so hard.

The rocks, etc behind them in the last few seconds are nowhere near the house where they were hiding out.

It looks like the remains of an old quarry, or with the partial wall, maybe it was a small dam that was destroyed, or who knows what else.

But by the time we see the scene with A Leh carrying the unconscious Lin Zai, they have already traveled a good distance away from where the house is.

Agent A Leh was sent to find ANYone who was immune to the zombie virus, not specifically Lin Zai.

That's why A Leh holds his watch up to survivors that he comes across - it tells him if someone is infected. Additionally, the watch detects whether the infected person is ALSO immune to the effects of the virus.

When Lin Zai and the other small group of survivors took A Leh's backpack full of supplies while he was injured / unconscious, Lin Zai also took his watch, not realizing what the watch was actually for.

When A Leh recovered and then demanded his backpack and all of his supplies back, he also made Lin Zai give him his watch back.

As A Leh was walking away, the watch told him that it had detected a survivor who was immune to the virus, and he immediately knew Lin Zai was that person.

So......when Lin Zai's foot healed, in order to fulfill his mission of finding survivors who were immune to the virus, he knocked Lin Zai out and kidnapped him to take him back to the researchers.

At this point, we don't know what he did to the other survivors. Hopefully he only knocked them out, too.

Bummer. :(
